So, my mother passed last May. She was a hoarder. Her bedroom was a mess! It was up to me to clean it up!It took me a little more than 4 months to get it all cleaned out, primed and painted. The finishing touch was the new carpet that the room desperately needed.I called and made an appointment with Molyneaux. Abbie came over, and having touched base with me earlier, was well-prepared with the exact kinds of samples I was interested in. And what was great was I told Abbie about my mum and how I had cleaned out the room, (I think I showed her some "before" pictures at that time), and it was clear she became about as invested in my project as I am. It was very easy to choose what I wanted from the excellent samples Abbie brought. I even scoped out some samples for some prospective future projects. In the end I chose a dense, light gray carpet and some nice padding. Soon I heard from Molyneaux and we scheduled.After a small scheduling snafu, Frankie came the other day, and in a couple hours he had installed beautiful carpet in my mum's room! Not only is it great-looking, but it is, as Frankie said, like walking on a cloud! Abbie came over to check on things not long before Frankie finished, and we got our first look and feel of the carpet. I just about cried. My mother would love this room now! 🤩My thanks to Abbie and Frankie, and the folks in the scheduling department who made a great save after aforementioned scheduling snafu! If this carpet lasts as good as it looks and feels now, just wow!P.S. My cat loves the carpet, too!

She was very knowledgeable about the products and really helpful in narrowing down our choices until we picked the perfect carpeting! I had a very stressful move back to my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA which involved buying a tiny row house virtually sight unseen. It is small enough that I didn’t buy furniture to make it easier to replace the flooring. After a bad experience with Empire flooring (They sold me engineered hardwood that wouldn’t work with my uneven floors and staircase. When I had them back a second time choosing a vinyl plank and carpet combination they didn’t bother to show up on the installation day!) I called Molyneux.Tara H. And Tim L. from the Plum location came to my rescue with a beautiful gray vinyl plank flooring on the main level and carpeting for the upstairs. They were prompt and professional throughout the entire installation process. Every member of their delivery and installation crews was polite and showed up on time. The vinyl plank installation took 2 days with a new sub-floor and the carpeting was done on the 3rd day. The results are amazing. The new flooring changed the whole look and feel of my new home. We are very pleased with our recent kitchen makeover – refacing of cabinets, new countertop and backsplash. Everything looks so beautiful and Tara is a wonderful design consultant and gave us so many ideas/options. Matt was also helpful in suggestions and keeping contact with us during the whole process. When the salesman came to our house to measure and give us an estimate, he made many negative comments about our decor, the smell in the house, and the shoes in my closet. His first estimate for three average bedrooms, stairs and a landing was $8700. We chose a different carpet and the price was halved which we still felt was excessive. We were told the padding would be excellent, that they always put down a superior padding. The installers did an excellent job. They were friendly and professional. After they left, we noticed how thin and not at all springy the carpet was. It apparently has an inferior thin padding underneath. Walking on our carpet is like walking on a board. We have never heard from the salesman. No follow up. No call to let us know the installers were coming. No checking in to see how the install was going even though our house is only 5 minutes from the store. We are planning on building a house next year and absolutely will not use Molyneaux for any of our flooring purchases. I only gave two stars because the installers did do a great job.

When we walked into the Molyneaux showroom we weren't sure which type of carpet would be best to purchase for our game room. After speaking with Design Consultant Joel Wlodarczyk we knew which product would be best for us. Joel was able to use his years of experience to recommend several different options and then help us narrow it down to the best one for our needs. Molyneaux pricing was comparable to other carpet installers in the area but we went with Molyneaux based on the fact that Joel took time to make sure we were purchasing what would work best for our gameroom and also because he would be able to have the installers out to our house fairly quickly. The installers did a great job. They were efficient, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I have used Molyneaux in the past for bedroom carpeting and I would use them again in the future based on the positive experience that I have had.

I feel that I didn’t have the right sales person or project manager. We began our projects discussion in late March and it was promise to be done in 6 weeks. Is the middle of July and I am not happy with timing. Each week we encounter an issues. Lack of communication in regard to what time the project will be done , when the contractors will arrive. At one point the team drop off the flooring materials only to be told that it was the wrong one. Two weeks later contractor returned with the same flooring. They could not finish the project due to running out of material. As we speak my floor is seating not done and without a toilet in my first floor bathroom. Each time we call we were told that they will manage the situation. I never openly complain until today ! If am going to pay for a project that is expensive ( kitchen ) please provide me with the promises you made. I had to go in person to discussed the matter , I was polite and respectful. Only to be told that they were sorry for the 4th time and that they will offer more materials. I am over the “sorry’s and will get it done “!

I recently hired Molyneaux to install carpet at my new home. They came highly recommended from my parents. My design consultant, Derek Richard, was exceptionally helpful from the beginning. At the store, he was able to provide me insight on what kind of carpet I should look for in my home. He then scheduled a home consultation, and he showed up on time and very prepared. His eye for color choices was impeccable. He had my rooms measured and ready to go in a short amount of time. The installation team did a great job of keeping everything neat and left the room looking great! I would definitely use Molyneaux again for my future flooring projects!

We had a wonderful experience with Molyneaux. Allison Connelly, the design consultant, came to our home with samples of carpeting. She helped us pick the perfect color and type of carpeting for our family room. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and full of great ideas. We chose Molyneaux because of their wonderful reputation. When the installers came, they could not have been more professional. They came on time, they helped to carry large items from the room, they did an excellent job installing the carpeting, they carried the large pieces back in the room, and moved them around to our satisfaction. We are so happy with our new carpeting and are definitely planning to use Molyneaux at 1812 Golden MIle Highway for our next carpeting project.

When we walked into Molyneaux Allison was there to greet us and take excellent care of us. We looked at many vinyl floor samples with Allison's great eye for color, then she helped us with carpeting for the steps. When she came to our home to go over the samples that we choose, her keen eye for coordinating the decor with the flooring made our choice very easy.The installation process was exceptional. The floor installers, Jon and Ben were very professional. Joe who installed our carpet and Illija who installed the transitional pieces were both very professional.Overall our experience could not have been better. I had the pleasure of meeting Allison from Molyneaux at her booth at the Home Show at the Monroeville Convention Center. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking to put new carpeting in my living room. Allison worked with me to arrange a meeting at my home to view samples around my work schedule and was more than accommodating. Harry Fasching was more than helpful when he came for my home estimate. He brought samples and within an hour I had my carpet picked out and had an install date. I called Molyneaux because I recognized the name as a local company and based on reviews on Angie's list. My call was answered and a salesman was scheduled to arrive in a timely manner and was bringing several samples with him so that I could choose the best carpet for my house. The salesman arrived exactly on time and took precise measurements. In fact, he measured twice sometimes and quoted that its better to measure twice and cut once. He then help me choose the best color and grade of carpet by providing me with dozens of samples. He drew out the areas to be carpeted to scale on a piece of graph paper and quoted me a price. I was happy with the price and was sold on how quickly it could be installed. He measured on Monday and it was installed on Thursday of the same week!. The installers called me on Thursday morning letting me know they were on their way. Installers arrived early on Thursday morning and began removing the old carpet right away. The installers were very polite and professional (Floyd and Floyd Jr.). They did a fantastic job of cleaning the sub-floors before putting down the new pad. The new carpet looks great and they were diligent about ensuring I was pleased before they left. They took all the old carpet with them and cleaned up their work areas very nicely. The job took all day and they did a fantastic job. I did not price shop so I have no idea if their price was high or not but the difference this new carpet makes and the excellent work the installers did makes it totally worth it to me. Highly recommended!

Thank You Molyneaux!!! We had carpet installed in our basement, and we are thrilled with how well it turned out. Harry was very patient with us, and helped us pick out a carpet that is soft and warm. After speaking briefly on the phone, he was able to determine what kind of carpet we were looking for even though we had no idea what it was called. Harry brought several samples to the house, and made the entire process as easy as could be. The installers arrived on time and completed the job quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves. This was my second purchase from Molyneaux and once again the experience was perfect beginning with the inhome consultation which was extremely professional with lots of samples to choose from. Overall, I was unimpressed with Molyneaux. The installers that came did a great job, but I found the entire process subpar. I went with Molyneaux, paying top-dollar because I expect to get what you pay for. I was told the carpet came with a 10 year warranty so long as we cleaned it professionally every 12-18 months. Upon review of my order (and my fault for not reading the fine print) I only have a one-year warranty with a lot of clauses that will most likely void it. I went with them because I thought it had an outstanding warrant - as the salesman sold it, but it does not. The installers showed up and had us review everything because they didn't know what we ordered - nor did we seeing as it was four weeks after we saw the products. So, hopefully I got what I paid for. There were no calls/follow-ups during or beginning installation to ensure. I do not know how to tell what carpet is what and what I specifically bought. A phone call prior to installation to ensure everyone is on the same page would have been appreciated. The installers were not even sure what rooms/spaces were being installed, so we had to walk them through each room and closet.Save yourself some money and go with someone else. It is not worth shelling out the extra money. The carpet looks nice - again the installers did great, but I think I could have saved myself a lot of money by going through Lowes or another local carpet install professional. If it doesn't come with the warranty I was promised, then what's the point of paying more? Quality and craftmanship is probably 5-stars, but their sales practices and warranties are horrible 0-stars -> average 2.5-stars.

The installers were considerate and did their best, completing the job according to our specifications.We initially chose to use Molyneaux over the competitors because of personalized service and a wide variety of products.When we are ready to begin another flooring project, we will not need to look any further than Molyneaux. There is no guesswork as to the quality of their service and their products, and we know they will complete the job in a timely fashion.

I decided to replace the carpeting in my apartment because the existing carpet was worn and ugly. I called Molyneaux and set up an appointment for their shop-in-home service. Bill P. came to my home with samples and was very helpful in helping me to decide which carpet would be the best carpet for my needs. the day of instillation I was a little nervous about having to go through what I thought would be a stressful experience. To my surprise the Installers Bill and Jim were very well organized and my new carpeting was installed in a few hours. They moved all the furniture and were very careful in handling everything. I would definitely recommend Molyneaux Tile, Carpet and Wood to my family and friends. Molyneaux was referred to me by many of my co-workers.
