I inherited an upright piano that is at least 130 years old and had not been tuned for over 35 years. I found Luis online and was impressed with his reviews and his website. Luis came to my home in Pittsburgh and installed a Dampp-Chaser system in my baby grand Kawai. He was very pleasant and professional. My house is very dry in the winter and I had one piece of furniture, a custom built wood table, crack in the winter last year, so I am grateful to him for helping me to save the wood in my piano from the same fate this winter by helping me out in a timely manner.

Luis is certainly a master of his craft! He expertly ran a diagnostic on my piano, tuned it, and helped me understand my humidity control system all while having a friendly conversation with me. My piano was then graced by his professional skills as he tested the sound, and he even helped me work through the timing of a song I am currently working on. Luis was even kind enough to deliver parts that were needed for my system after the appointment. Absolutely amazing, these pianos sound wonderful now. I used to ask my son to never use the upright because it sounded quite awful, the baby grand was not bad at best. It’s quite pleasant to listen to him play in either room on either piano now.Definitely going to be calling Luis back we need another tuning. He’s very professional and he communicates clearly about what is being done and what may be wrong.

Luis was able to come to rescue and tune my piano at the last minute before the Christmas holidays. My son was coming home for the holidays and wanted to be able to play the piano where his love for music began. We had a Young Chang piano in our church that was donated but was not playable. I did not believe it was possible to save this piano but thought I would try to see if anybody could restore it to become a functioning piano. I booked an appointment with Luis. He spent several hours performing "piano surgery" and now it is restored and I play this piano every week at church. It was amazing to watch his patience and expertise. Even when I thought it sounded perfect, he was still working on it to make it just right. He is an artist in every sense of the word. He is an an extremely talented pianist and highly-skilled musician, but is also an amazing piano technician with an ear that senses proper pitch AND proper mechanical action and function. I’ve had my pianos tuned many times over the years but Luis is the most reliable, efficient, friendly, and caring! He spent over 2 hours meticulously tuning my piano back into shape. He even came back the next day to fix the hinge on my piano bench simply because he was near my neighborhood visiting other clients and was concerned about my daughter injuring herself on the broken bench. I just had Luis tune my piano this morning. He did a wonderful job. He was able to tune the my piano to the exact pitch I requested, 432 hz. He also fixed a lot of sticky keys (my piano is over 100 years old) and glued a broken key back together. He was such a pleasure to talk to and very professional. I needed my baby grand piano tuned and found Luis by searching online. His website was easy to navigate and clear to understand regarding experience, services and pricing.I submitted a request for an appointment and he contacted me immediately to confirm.
