I love going to Kuhn's grocery store. It has been a staple in Banksville for a very long time. I know where everything is in the store, and for those of you who drink alcohol, you can buy that in the store as well. Kuhn's was remodeled a few years ago, so it is a lot newer and cleaner.

I shop here often and recently had a death of a friend but was in Florida when it happened. I called to order chicken and pay for it ahead of time. Joe (the manager) went out of his way to help me pay for it from Florida. He was so kind and wonderful. I can’t thank him enough!

Not my favorite grocery store but it’s convenient.The cashiers are not the friendliest people, most are young kids who can barely say hello or thank me for my order…I was just handed a receipt yesterday after spending over $200!How can you not thank your customers in this day & age!Their organic produce section is practically non existent, and selections are small & limited in the rest of the store. I just wish they’d have healthier options to choose from.The deli closes early which is a huge inconvenience for most people, but they do have a wine & beer store inside and a decent flower shop.All in all, it’s a small neighborhood market I go to in a pinch, just needs some work.

This Kuhns has a pretty extensive wine section. A nice enhancement! They also always have reasonably priced sandwiches for on the go.

Their sale items are very limited.I hardly get advertised meat every time I go. I quit shopping there any more.

Not only do they have a great grocery store and carry the best Boars Head deli meat, but the floral department is always amazingly stocked with beautiful plants. Ive even found some hard to find gems here! Dont just walk by, STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS!!

while somewhat nicely renovated, they increased prices astronomically. to top that off, they are so money-hungry that they eliminated a NEED (the pharmacy, you know, life saving/sustaning necessary) for a WANT (frick'n beer/alcohol!) but now they are found to have been operating with an ACTIVE sewage issue and no running water! ok, so they are now shut down for that, but the audacity to continue business as normal with the hopes of not getting caught for their unsanitary conditions is deplorable. would not care if it stays shut for good...i just feel bad for the largely elderly community that shops there because its close.

Maybe make it more than hardly a 24hr notice, taped to your entrance doors announcing early close. Sorry I don’t stop at Khuns Plaza every few hours to make sure I can stop and grocery shop a few hours later. Sewage smelling, over priced, rude/useless employees. Y’all suck.

Parking on the weekend is hard to come by. What is good is that this site is open 24 hours a day. They don't have the best selection of items, but they have enough to prevent a drive out to the parkway and beyond. Their bakery makes pretty awesome super sized donuts.

This store is well maintained and their staff were helpful during my visit. I was able to quickly find an air freshener that I was looking for. They are open 24hrs which makes it easy for customers to pick up anything they require at any time of the day.

It stays open longer than most stores. It’s a little more expensive than I would like. Yesterday it smelled horrible and the floor by the deli section looked dark so I’m assuming they had another sewage back up in the store but decided to keep it open anyway. It was REALLY bad. Ppl often complain about the cashiers, but I’ve never had a problem with them. I appreciate that they hire ppl most businesses wouldn’t consider. It’s a great option if you’re pressed but probably isn’t anyone’s grocery store of choice.

They have good deals but their workers are the worst. Somehow I always manage to go when the workers are stocking. They are rude & will never move out of your way no matter what. They literally act like you’re invisible & continue to stock even if you need in that area. Can’t you stock at like 5am or once you close? Geez. & the cashiers/baggers have a strange staring problem & don’t talk. The last cashier I had was chewing gum so aggressively with her mouth open. Yuck

Every grocery store that I enter they have great customer service. Very friendly staff there’s never ever a line at any of the registers. They also hire special-needs individuals which I think is great considering I have a special-needs stepdaughter. Great selection. Everything is easy to find. And you don’t have to fumble around to pull out some sort of card to get scanned because you’re getting a discount as it is.

The folks at Kuhn's Market have been incredibly helpful, friendly, & kind during all my visits & their prices beat Giant Eagle every time. I'm fairly new to the area & was impressed with their selections as well. They also have the very best hoagies of any grocery store in Pittsburgh (just like back in the good old days - huge, tasty, & very reasonably priced)! I'm so thankful that they are my neighborhood grocer :)

This is an excellent place to shop at. It can be a little pricey, but they carry almost everything you could need in retail sizes.Pro tip: they carry multiple salsa brands, and they all taste great. The deli is also a good place to check out.Note: it can be a little tough to find a parking spot at peak times.

Fantastic deli choices (including Boar’s Head) and overall the store is always clean and is rocking a fresh remodel as of lately. Staff is always super nice and helpful. Longer hours than most. They were 24 hours until covid hit but they’re not alone being a business no longer doing that. Their prices usually aren’t as ideal as some other places but they aren’t far off. I would give it a 4 and a half if I could but overall a great community grocery store and one I’m glad to have close to home.

Interesting market out towards Mt Lebo/south hills. Didn’t walk around too much but it seemed like everything you needed in a grocery store. Had some issue with their self check out counter not accepting my card but I’m sure it was just a fluke

Convenient good food choices. My only real complaint or suggestions is the deli doesn't ever cut corn beef correct. You're supposed to go against the grain not with it and this was my 2nd time getting corn beef that I end up just tossing because it's too chewy and stringy. It's especially true in the sandwiches to go. Just going to go to subway up the way from now on if I want a sandwich.

Nicely located, easy in and out for the most part of the day. Staff is fairly helpful generally speaking. Products available most of the time. Some products are a lot of expensive compared to other places but it’s also conveniently located so you don’t have to drive Costco and other places. They have good meat.

I like everything about this grocery store, except the parking lot.The store carries most items I want and you can get in and out with the newer self checkout! The deli carries Boar's Head item, which is wonderful.I recommend this store highly, only be careful in the parking lot. 👍😊

The food was fresh and plentiful. The building leaves a lot to be desired. It's a big building but so dark and dingy looking. The floors are bate concrete and not smooth. The aisles are short in length and small in width. There are a lot of products so it is very crowded. A woman was doing a tasting of pizza in the aisle by the lottery window which made it very difficult to get to the deli area. There needs to be a huge rearrangement to make it easier to get around and more lights to make it brighter. The bread I bought was fresh and delicious.

It's not the biggest store one will ever find, but it is extremely well provisioned, and has a remarkably complete list of groceries including many specialty items. It shares the Everyday Essentials line with Shop and Save, so if you're used to purchasing those products from Shop and Save, you'll feel right at home at Kuhn's. It is a compact store, so the aisles are fairly narrow, but I was impressed at how many things they were able to pack into such a compact space. Very well organized and quite clean.
