Joyce Factory just completed the bathroom install on my home. The bathroom was 20 years old and certainly very outdated. Matt McGraw was the installer and he did an amazing job.The project looks wonderful and his perfectionism certainly shows in the completed project.He was very careful to place flooring protection at the start of each day. At the completion if the work, he vacuumed to remove and dust. The work looks amazing.Well done Matt.

This review may be a bit extensive.First things first - the estimate. The estimate process was easy, but to be honest is a bit ridiculous in terms of what was likely required of the salesman. Tony was very helpful and informative, but he had to go through the company’s history before even giving me the final price which was a bit excessive to me (I don’t think it was his decision but I didn’t ask). I understand that Joyce was stressing quality, craftsmanship, and pure expertise as well as being Factory direct but my goodness - instead of the 30 minute presentation just give me the cost. Other than that, the process was simple.Next came scheduling. Scheduling was easy…when it came time to schedule. The downside - There was no communication in the time we signed the dotted line to the scheduling date which exceeded the estimated timeframe we were given, so we weren’t even sure who we were supposed to hear from.Installation - with the mess that my 1920’s house is, the installation gentleman was a rockstar. He dealt with my plaster and lath walls. He helped meImprove my water flow due to an incorrect trap that was previously put in, he talked me through everything he was doing, and he was simply an expert in his craft in my opinion. One thing I remember from the sales presentation was the steps that the installer would take in terms of how the tub is put together were 100% correct. He followed everything to a T. He was excellent and kept the work area very clean and did a great job cleaning up.Wrapping up, Tony was very helpful when I had questions.Installer was incredible given the mess he had to deal with.Joyce as a Company - cut down the presentation and history unless asked and let sales get down to brass tacks and give the numbers so that they can be in and out. I had 3 other companies give me quotes and they were in and out in 10 minutes. Joyce was here for 45+ minutes mainly because of the presentation and the smacking the model bath tub with a bat to show durability, etc. Also, I’d recommend if you can do anything about your pricing, quit with up-charging for the designs / color (can’t remember which specifically) because with the other companies, their prices were EASILY comparable and they don’t charge more for design, color or laser etching. If you ask why I didn’t go with the other companies, it’s because they couldn’t guarantee the turnaround that Joyce did. Also one thing - the bath faucet pours on the overflow cover (see pics) which I think is silly but doesn’t deter me much. It keeps the sound down.I would still recommend Joyce to anyone because they stayed true to the word of quality, process and time to completion.Service: Bathtub replacement

We had Joyce Factory Direct come take out our bathtub and install a shower to make it easier for my 95 year old mother to get in and out. They came to our house to explain their company and the high standards they strive to meet. They gave us a price for work and were able to start in about 4 weeks. The installers showed up on time, listened to our requests, did quality work, and cleaned up their mess each day. They finished in 2 days, and the final result is awesome! We highly recommend them for your remodeling needs.

I am not quite sure about good value given inflation, but I am sure that I chose Joyce because of the warranty on the materials and how good they were. I am pleased with both the company and especially with Matt McGraw who installed my new shower. He was very nice and smart and worked hard to problem solve my silly, angled shower wall, he was also very neat and timely. Very happy with the results. Mitch was our first point of contact. While we originally were just looking for a new shower, he suggested additional options for the bathroom. We had wanted a new window and wall coverage, Mitch was able to accommodate us with reasonable solutions.Zac & Dan did a superb installation of our new Bathroom Shower and Acrylic on our walls. I rarely give five star reviews. Joyce as a company, the sales department, and everyone that called was respectful and it was pretty much business as usual. Very friendly and responsive. The reason this is getting five stars is my wonderful installers. I had the pleasure of having Zach And his team and they were amazing. I never had such a pleasant experience with contractors. They kept me informed and checked up to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. They were very patient and very professional. I cannot say enough about Zach and his crew. I would definitely recommend Joyce and if you do I hope you have my luck and get Zach!

Excellent service. Will recommend. We just had Joyce replace a shower stall and a cast-iron tub combo with their acrylic products and the installers deserve their own review. The install team of Zac and Dan were very friendly, professional, timely, and thorough. We were excited that that the project planned for them to remove a 1ft bulkhead from the combo shower and cover/seal up to and including the ceiling, but they put in the extra effort to fix unxpected problems we found from the previous 50 year old installs (like installing a subfloor where the cast-iron tub was sitting on the joists previously). The comfort of the modern feel and extra room of the new showers is amazing. The result of their work with the factory direct products has us recommending Joyce for a great experience.Service: Bathtub replacement

We had 2 bathrooms done by Joyce and have been extremely pleased with everything. The upstairs bathroom had an old ugly tub with a tub surround and needed updated. The master bath had a strange square tub and ugly tile and needed to have a walk-in shower. Joyce replaced the upstairs tub with a beautiful new one and the great acrylic walls with a light above the tub and it looks wonderful. The other bathroom has a great walk-in shower with grab bars, shelves and again the wonderful acrylic walls. Both are so easy to keep clean with no grout for mold to form. The installer was wonderful, very efficient, cleaned up all the mess both inside and out and was very fast and a very personable guy. There were no worries about the conpany being from Ohio since there is an office in the Pittsburgh area. The price was right in the ballpark and not exorbitantly high, and we had 13 months to pay same as cash. All in all a very good experience and I will go back next time there is a project to be done. Great customer service also. I recommend. Joyce to anyone needing a bathroom project done.

Matt McGraw did a fantastic job on the installation of my new shower. He was knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond in every way he can. I learned a lot from him too. He left extra sealant to apply after painting and added extra framework for a future sliding glass door. I couldn’t recommend Joyce and Matt for professionalism, work ethic, and results!

Joyce’s installed a new bath/ shower for us today in Greentree. It turned out beautiful. The installer Matt was very professional and knowledgeable. He stopped periodically throughout the process to explain what he was doing.We had planned to keep the bulkhead above the shower for fear there was ductwork or circuitry above. As soon as he tore out our surround and saw there was nothing above he offered to raise the ceiling over a foot. What a game changer. It looks and is so much larger. He never had to tell us. He added more work for himself to give us a better look. I really appreciated his communication throughout the process and he made the project a very pleasant experience.

They installed a shower for my husband who is a disabled veteran. The floor is so slippy he's afraid to get in. He has to walk in which he can't do. Was told by Elijah he wouldn't have any trouble. They have sub contractors doing work. He decided to move drain even after I told him no so now shower drain drips downstairs in my bathroom down there. Joyces will not admit they did it. I was told they do not have any plumbers doing work. Have been waiting since November for vice president to get back to me. Please do not listen to their lies. Too many other shower companies out there.

I chose Joyce because their instalation was comprehensive. Many companies boast that they can update your bathroom in 24 hours. They usually just put a new tub over the old. Joyce ripped out the old plumbing and installed a new tub/shower, stylish walls and new plumbing. It's probably one of the best decisions I've made in life because there were major issues with the old plumbing I had in both bathrooms that resulted in leaking. The contractors (Zach & Dan) were very professional and skilled. Zach kept us abreast of work he was doing and that made me certain that I had selected the right company.
