I love Jmart! They have any ingredient for any recipe. Very authentic!Their prices are the best around and the family who owns it are extremely helpful. Must grab some baklava while you’re in there.Thank you! 10/10

It was a bad experience. I was kindly asked him that I want a Russian ketchup. He kept saying me there is a Turkish ketchup and then he asked me that where I am from and I told him so He started speak Turkish but it was kinda different Turkish so I didn’t understand him and he kept to talk same language i told him that i dont understand hime. He started being rude to me at the check out he said something again and I didn’t understand. It was the awful costumer service!

I stopped in on the way home from dropping my 👑Queen🐶 off to the dog groomers. The three things that jumped out at me were the #macarons , the #gourmet #marshmellows and the #mortadella . I plan to purchase them items but i left my debit card at home lol.

I LOVE their freshly baked bread. I recommend eating it With strawberry jam and little bit of butter. It’s so heavy.Although I understand it’s an international market I think price for some of the items are bit too high. Carrots, grapes, dill are examples of expensive items.

Today I bought black olives and it expired . I paid $15 . I just wasted my money . Some products are expired. Check before you buy anything there . I highly suggest owners to check all the products . And no prices on most of the items. This is not acceptable . I never recommend this place .

Local market catering to Russian, Middle Eastern foods. Nice selection of Russian dried legumes, pastas. If you are in need of Turkish coffee look no further, this place stocks a large selection of various brands as well as needed coffee pot to brew. Fresh and frozen foods available. Large selection of biscuits, and lollies. Spices are not to be overlooked. Check it out if in Dormont.

Horrible customer service. While they are trying to take care of you they might stop and have a conversation with a different customer, answer phone and do other things. At the same time they would mess up your order. Lots of expired products! You really have to watch out!

Good enough variety of European goods but prices are quite high.Found another market 29 minutes away that was smaller but more items for my liking and prices were lower.Customer service at both places were subpar but I guess it is a cultural thing, pleasant enough but not overly nice and when you ask a question on an item, you get a far off stare. So try to Google or figure out items yourself.Pittsburgh is a state that is so different culturally anyway so I don't even let it bother me.

I love this place. They've steadily increased their produce selection over the past few months, which is just fantastic for quick grocery trips. Additionally, they have an amazing selection of Russian and Eastern European snacks and beverages (where else are you going to get seven different kinds of kvass?)

I love coming to Jmart. The owners are very pleasant, they always help if you can’t find something in particular. Variety of products is huge for such a small and cozy store. Usually, I find everything that’s needed, but if not, the owners tell when the missing item will be restocked.

It's great that they've all the coolers now. Makes for a whole new realm of items. Some very interesting items. Some items tend to be a little pricey comparatively. I like their great candy selections.

What a food adventure! All kinds of neat, mysterious stuff, all in other languages, but they help you understand cheerfully.And unripe plums. I don't know what people do with them but the worker said they sell a lot of them. And pretty tea sets.The prices are all in disarray, though. I didn't like that part of the mystery.

Good variety, thanks for fair price . But I had complain to the store before, there is no price for mostly the items. I m tried to take item to register and ask price. And please do not buy “sutas beyaz peynir tam yagli” I made two times mistake to buy and it’s awful... taste is really really bad , do not waste your 10-11 dollars for that. Buy other brand. Other than overall everyhing is good, again thanks for your service to Turkish people to provide Turkish product.

Coming to browse here was an interesting experience. I liked the variety of foods, drinks, and snacks from other countries/cultures. I was disappointed because I went in looking for a specific chocolate (I saw someone post a picture with a review and the chocolate was in the picture) but they didn’t have it. Regardless this was a nice place !

Great selection at great prices! They have Turkish coffee & the pot to make it. They even have beautiful coffee and tea sets to serve it. The people working there are very kind and helpful.

This is a wonderful little family owned and operated market with a full selection of mainly Russian and Middle Eastern products. They carry many Halal products and, for a little market in Dormont, their selection of Russian sweets- candies, cookies, cakes, etc- is staggering. They have several brands of Napoleon cakes a lovely bird's milk cake, many layered fruit torts and cakes from everyday table deserts to stunning $30 exotically gorgeous confections, so if visiting Baba, be sure to stop here on your way. There is an amazing selection of butters, cheeses and other diary products, even camel and horse milk keffir! Many different brands of Kvas, more than I even knew existed! They also carry large bags of frozen pelmeni, and many varieties of my husbands favourite- smoked fish, dries and salted fish.There's even caviars in several different price points.The family- Dad, Mom, brother and sister- who own the place are warm, friendly and helpful. Especially the son! He will answer all of your questions and help you with anything- even your groceries to your car! I don't think it's possible to annoy this fella!They accept cash, credit/debit, EBT.The only downside to this store is the parking situation. On street on Potomac Ave. But like I said, the son will help you to your car.

finally a store within walking distance that sells soy milk! thank you!! i am so glad to see another grocery store opened up here. they take cards including ebt as well. they have a variety of goods across different ethnic recipies. store was clean and organized staff were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were traveling from NY and me being a European I wanted to look for a grocery store in Pittsburgh to find some European snacks. Took a basket and started putting the items in when I saw an Indian pantry moth flying around. I immediately put all the snacks from my basket back on the shelves. Then I went to the grains to check if any air would come out of the bags when I squeezed them. Checked 4 different bags of grains and all had air coming out of them. This is not right, you need to check your items. Now all these people who purchased your groceries will go home with moth infested foods and it will take them forever to get rid of them! I honestly did not mention anything to the cashier because she was only working there (she didn’t own the store) and didn’t want to make her uncomfortable but everyone needs to be aware that if they shop at this store they will most likely carry the pantry moth infested groceries into their homes.

Excellent store w. a wide array of products and ver helpful staff. A Russian friend who lives in Squirrel Hill introduced me to the store- and another friend from Romania goes there every time he visits Pittsburgh. Defonitely worth the trip to Dormont!

got the raffaello candies, and when we got home it appeared to be 1 month over the expiration date. They costed twice as much as in Europe, and you just got lucky to sell them not only overpriced, but also with expired shelf time.+ stars for a kind reply
