I saw a Facebook invitation to have a First Free daycare day for my Dog.1st, you could fill out information online which makes you appreciate that the facility is thorough.2nd, there is an evaluation of your specific dog, energy level, age, personality.3rd, if you haven't already, you provide vet information to show they have the needed vaccines and up to date.4th, your dog meets quickly with another dog they feel is a good fit (out in front, where you are )I met with three people and so did my pup.Now, all I have to do is take her down for her Free day.I have never boarded, daycare and even rarely dark parked.I was intrigued by this invitation.I might need it someday.Without this invitation I would have never checked it out.Thank you for that and I slightly nervously look forward to bring my Precious Girl down for the day.

We love our friends at Hounds Town! The amazing staff gives us peace of mind, whether it be for a day of daycare or a weekend of boarding. Seriously - this staff is something special, and if you’re looking for people that go the extra mile for your pet, you’ll find it at the Town. Their regular updates on how your pet is doing is much appreciated, and our boy always comes home happy, healthy, and exhausted. We love not having to make reservations for day care, and how easy drop off and pick up is. We just love Hounds Town!

Hounds Town is always soooo unbelievably good to Rory and her humans. We have recently had situations where Rory had to unexpectedly stay. Without missing a beat, they had her setup with all the comfortable accommodations she could possibly need. Our dog can be annoyingly vocal and this kind, sweet team simply calls her a “singer.” I highly, highly recommend Hounds Town for any daycare or boarding needs.

Love houndstown, been sending my dog here for over a year now and have never had any issues. The staff is great and helpful when calling to book a stay and flexible if a pick up time has changed. My dog also seems to love it, always smiling in all the photos posted and comes back with a big smile and tired from all the playing!

Highly Recommend for daycare and boarding. My Newfie always has the best time at Hounds Town in the Strip! The staff is so caring and wonderful with her, and I always feel comfortable leaving her in their care.

We were looking for a place to board our two dogs and we visited Hounds Town to get acquainted with their services. They were courteous and professional from our initial visit all the way through the orientation with our dogs, which was scheduled the following day. We met the owner and more staff on this day and our boys wound up staying for a free daycare session. They did very well, they received a good report card, and we could not be happier with our experience. This is where we will board them, and we are planning monthly daycare visits so they can meet and socialize with a pack.

My dog start going to Hounds Town only recently but he already stayed overnight for 2 weeks and he seems he had a great time. People at the Hounds are really great with dogs and very easy to communicate with. I sent them a message midd trip to ask how my dog was doing and they immediately replied with pictures of my pup. Thank you for taking such a good care of our dogs.

Hounds Town Pittsburgh is a fantastic place to bring your furry friend. The staff is kind, caring, and friendly. They are also very flexible if your plans change last minute. Our dog is a rescue and has severe anxiety but absolutely loves Houndstown. Since coming, her separation anxiety has gone down tremendously and she has become so much more confident with new settings and people. Hounds Town has been the best daycare for my dog since joining back in the fall. My dog really enjoys his time at camp and you can tell he has a lot of fun playing with his friends. The #houndstownhangover is real everytime he goes and makes me feel so happy that he is able to play and interact with dogs and humans throughout the day. The team at Hounds Town is also amazing. They share updates when I pick him up or drop off and having photos on their instagram daily let's me see how my dog is doing. They also have events for the dogs, like Prom, Harry Potter Pawty and more that the animals get photos taken or make art, etc. which is a really fun extra. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area. Thank you Hounds Town!

I live in New York, we use Hounds Town by us. Our Facility faxed all our dogs info to Pittsburgh Facility. The Pittsburgh HoundsTown is as Amazing as our New York HoundsTown. Dogs are well taken care of, tired when they get home. Staff couldn't be more Cordial to us. Highly recommend

I can't say enough good things about Hounds Town Pittsburgh. Our 6 year old dog has never been very social, however, after a few months of regular daycare at Hounds Town she now has friends and socializes and seems to have blossomed in the best way. She takes hardcore naps after coming home from a day with her friends. The facility is brand new and spotless, the entire staff are incredibly kind and love each of the animals like their own. The owners are absolute angels. We started taking our newest family member (5 mos) to Hounds Town and he loves it, too! Takes some air out of the puppy tires and he is much better behaved and responsive to training after a day of running with his new friends. Excellent value in pricing and they offer spa services for the dogs during their daycare stay. Will be using Hounds Town for boarding in a few weeks as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE! They also keep you updated on the dogs playtime via social media if you give them a follow @houndstownpittsburghstrip check them out!

It was good. Mylo is normally afraid of other dogs so I was glad to see he wasn't traumatized when you brought out the other dog to see his aggression. Prices are very affordable and he will definitely becoming a part of the crew very soon!

Staff is great & so friendly! My 2 yr old dog just loves it there. Gives me peace of mind that he is having fun & being taken care of & not sitting at home by himself while I’m at work. So so so happy to have been introduced to these wonderful people. My dog had his first day, and it went great.We did a really thorough intake, temperament test, and then my dog was taken back for daycare, a quick tour.I felt comfortable and safe leaving him for the day, and booking his future boarding was a breeze. He had a great time, and was given an adorable and informative report card at pickup.Staff is SO friendly, helpful, responsive, and you can tell they really care about the animals.12/10. :)

We had never left our new dog in daycare or boarding, so we wanted to make sure to pick the best place so our dog would be safe and happy. Hounds Town was excellent, our dog had the best time during her first day of daycare. The staff is professional and responsive, and they make sure to group the dogs according to weight and play style. I have full trust in leaving my dog with this group!

This was my husbands & I first time traveling, since before the pandemic and our first time traveling with our dog, so to say I was a bit apprehensive was an understatement. I thought I had covered all our bases with the hotel, making sure it was pet friendly etc, however upon checking in they gave us a laundry list of rules one of which was we were not allowed to leave our pup unattended in the room! As we had tickets to the Pirates game the next day I immediately started looking for doggy daycare centers in the area. As we have never used one before, I could only narrow it down based on reviews & website info. After contacting a few places and leaving messages I called Hounds Town & a very nice young lady picked up and I was able to explain my dilemma to her, she listened attentively and immediately eased my concerns. She explained the process and was able to email me all of the forms so I could expedite his approval/ check in process. The following morning we brought our little guy in and we’re greeted by a super friendly staff. They explained everything again for me and even sent me pics of how well he was playing with the other dogs. He even got a little report card at the end of the day when we picked him back up. We felt so good about his time there we decided to extend our trip an extra day! Thank you so much, I have a very happy & exhausted pup. I’ll definitely be looking up the new location opening up at home in Brooklyn ❤️

We were visiting the Pittsburg area and needing a daycare service for our Winnie and Hounds Town was our answer. The staff was very friendly and when we picked her up she had a bath and smelled great and took a long nap. Great Job !!!
