Love H&F!!! Their selection of edibles is unmatched, and anytime I have a question, the staff is more than happy to help, give reviews, and suggest alternatives. I always enjoy going because I get this "small-town coffee shop" vibe where they know my "usual" purchase, and I am treated like a regular. I am going to regret recommending the Sleep Angels in this post becuase they will go fast, but I can't gatekeep an amazing product!!!

I had never been to a cannabis store before, and this did not disappoint. The gal who helped us, Dez, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She knew everything about everything in the shop. It is refreshing to meet someone who really knows their stuff. We're from another state, but we're customers for sure now.

In visiting the store today I couldn’t help but overhear the owner of the establishment insulting one of her employees, who was not working at the time to defend themselves. She referred to her employee as “stupid”, exact words. I personally know the employee that she was speaking of, and that specific employee is such a kind and intelligent and well articulated employee. The owner of the establishment appears to be intoxicated out of her mind. Furthermore, I have researched the genetically modified cannabis products that they are selling in that store and they are literally making people sick, physically, and mentally. Delta eight is a highly addictive substance, and it is causing major issues for its consumers. If you would like to see, it’s cognitive effects firsthand go to hippie & French when the owner is working.

I really dug this place! Such an array of gorgeous glassware, it made me really wish I wasn't super broke. Next time I'm in the market for a piece I'm definitely going here. I haven't tried their CBD flower but I likely will eventually, & I'll update this when I do. The person minding the store was really pleasant and sweet. The space was aesthetically lovely. When they say "good vibes," this place is what they mean.

I have been going to Hippie and French for a while now and I have always had a very pleasant experience. I have even brought some of my friends with me to show them how cool the vibe is there. Recently due to the Covid 19, they have been taking orders over the phone. I placed an order for AC/DC (which is absolutely amazing by the way and is my new favorite sativa) and paid for it via an emailed invoice that Lindsay sent to me. She said she would ship it to me so that I didn't have to pick it up! This was Wednesday April 16. Nothing over the weekend. Come Monday, still nothing. So Tuesday I emailed her checking in on the order. No response. The next day, I called. An associate in the store took my info and called Lindsay. She then called me back to let me know that she was in for the night and would call me the next day. The next day came and went and no phone call. So today I set an alarm to give her a call. I woke up from my nap to see a text and a missed call saying that she had dropped off my order in the mailbox and refunded my money! I was so pleasantly surprised!! And just when I thought her customer service was at an all time high, she wrote a thank you note for being so patient and doubled my order because of the inconvenience.I just so happened to pick flowers for myself today and her bag matched the flowers perfectly so I decided to take a picture and finally write my review of this amazing place!Thank you so much Lindsay. You not only brightened my day, but you officially acquired a permanent loyal customer who will continue to rave about your product, your boutique, and you.~Arielle

My partner and I recently had a shockingly unfriendly, confusing, and rude experience when discussing an issue with a purchase we made here with the owner.The products sold here are not totally-natural THC products. What's sold here are CBD chemically derived Delta-8 and Delta-10 (etc.) products that require no FDA regulation. These products are often under scrutiny today due to the unregulated nature by which they're created and distributed.All of that is fine if that's what you're interested in consuming. However, that is not what we wanted, and at no point was it made clear that the products we were purchasing were of this nature.The problem came when we tried to return our purchases, unopened and untouched, for a refund. You will find other 1-star reviews point out that this place has absolutely no return policy. We were offered store credit, for a store that exclusively sells products that we are not interested in.The kicker came when we spoke to the owner, Lindsay, over the phone. She was exceptionally rude and unsympathetic for what was a simple misunderstanding on our purchase. She did not seem to care in any way that we had made an honest mistake, and hung up on us in the middle of our conversation. We've essentially lost all our money that went into the purchase with absolutely nothing in return. I have never been treated like this in any establishment in Pittsburgh.

Somehow I have never reviewed this place. I've been coming here a few years now. I have a few disabilities and regular Mary Jane and I simply do not get along. Frankly, she makes me very anxious, so finding this place has literally been a life saver.First, the aesthetic is brilliant. Second, love the fact that where business is concerned, I feel safe knowing I'm buying trustworthy products and not weird gas station who knows what. Third of course are the employees and owner who are so personable, knowledgeable, and truly make the place (also shoutout to Critter who I just found out this review comes too late for, they will be sorely missed!!). I truly appreciate this and cannot recommend it enough.

The place is pretty cool and their gummies never miss. I've only had their gummies and Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because they don't offer grams of their flower, you have to buy a whole 8th and their 8ths start at $50 😫.( Idky even tho they weigh their flower and totally could do grams 🤷‍♀️.)I don't like spending that much when I try a new shops flower just in case the flower is trash. I also just don't like buying that much at a time either, i'm use to other shops selling grams for $10/$15 so when I found that out my first time in I was a little disappointed, Also saw they had delivery, wanted to try but their delivery fee was 9.99. 🙃 not sure if there was a spending minimum that I didn't hit but I only live a 8 min drive from them so I didn't think it would be that much. All in all this shop serves its purpose and their gummies are a nice treat when I am in Lawrenceville

For being in KY and calling PA for an order, I had the kindest most personal service ever! I was guided to correct products geared toward my own situation and was texted, called, and given personal gratitude for shopping, when it was " me" who was so grateful for the personal help. Also, a thank you card personally written to me for my orders. They have me forever!! Cannot recommend enough!!

Very beautiful store. I’m not deducting any stars from my review for my suggestions because I do believe my ignorance is what caused my problem; but I do have few suggestions. I do think the staff should discuss the products a bit more with customers, only because when I went, I was very open with the individual who helped me that I had never tried the gummies I was buying before and that they were recommended to me, and while they were extraordinarily kind, they never told me how strong they were. Now, I’m an adult, so that’s why I say I understand that this is really moreso my fault, but I also don’t know much about delta 8 and you hear mixed feedback on what dosage is normal and for who, so I ended up with a very scary high from my gummy I took. Now, I do want to note it does say online to take half, and it also says on the bottle to be cautious, that’s why I’m Taking full blame, but still I don’t think it would hurt to explain to customers a little more what delta 8 highs can feel like, and how much they should take based off their experience. The shop does feel legit though and safe, and in todays world of everything being messed with, I think you’re in safe hands here.

Two visits, two lousy customer service experiences. First visit I bought a vape pen that was broken. Upon returning the item I was met with resistance from who I assume was the owner. I was given a demonstration by her on the "right way" to use it. Since my word wasn't good enough and I likely was to stupid to know how push a button and inhale at the same time, I had to give my own demonstration on how the product was broken. Her resolution was to give me store credit or replace the item. After an annoying back and forth she finally conceded to a refund. The other day my partner bought a calming CBD tincture for dogs, not realizing the bottle read that there were traces of THC in the formula. After consulting with our vet, they said to absolutely not give our pup anything with THC in it as it is toxic and could be fatal. Back to the shop to attempt to return the product. After explaining all this to the same person from the first visit I was greeted with the same resistance to a refund. Nevermind that there should be serious concerns that she is selling something that could potentially hurt your pet, to which she was indifferent to. I walked away with a useless gift card that I will never use because I refuse to support this business again. This "all sales are final" philosophy is immensely flawed. Ironically, the Buddha statue up front hardly represents any good karma from this place.

I LOVE Hippie & French! I’ve ordered three times from the online boutique and have been delighted with the products and customer service/communication each time. Everything I’ve ordered has been great quality and very effective - especially their own pain balm and tinctures. I will continue to be an online customer and hopefully visit in person someday. So glad I found this gem!

Had such a wonderful experience shopping at H&F! The owner was extremely accommodating and welcoming. I was anxious and frazzled when I walked in and left feeling grace and happiness. The store is so beautiful I could have spent hours just taking it all in and looking at all the merchandise. Everything was reasonably priced and had lots of variety for all your CBD needs. Every experience is better than the previous. I adore the shop, the staff, the products, and mainly Lindsay for giving us this absolutely wonderful storefront. I drive 2+ hours to visit frequently and have also ordered online. Shipping is so fast, the packaging is A+ including ice packs for things to stay fresh. I have gotten little hand written notes which is just the Cherry on top. I am so glad I stumbled upon Hippie and French and have just another reason to keep me coming back to Pittsburgh. 🖤

I love Hippie & French. This was my second time purchasing a shipped order and both times the orders shipped super fast, came packaged very nicely, and update you on the shipping status. I love everything that I have purchased, both recently and in the past. I particularly love their Chill AF tincture which is one of my go-to items to help with my anxiety. In this recent order I decided to try some CBD caramels and they absolutely did not disappoint! They were helpful in getting me to relax in the evenings, while also being a delicious, sweet treat. One of the best woman-owned shops in Pgh!

I have visited this boutique many times and purchased numerous products from this store for recreational/just for fun use. I have always had a wonderful experience between the customer service and great quality products!Today I went in for a health issue that I really needed some help and guidance with on with which products to use for pain caused by endometriosis. For any women who have endo, you know just how painful/debilitating it can be. The owner of the store was working and I’m so thankful for her! She was able to tell me exactly what to get. I went home an tried my products immediately and I can finally say for the first time in 3 days, I FINALLY have a break from nonstop pain! Thank you so much! 🌸
