Moved here from Texas months back, and generally find the grocery stores here to be lacking. Giant eagle is by far the worst offender. The prices are notoriously high. The deals are scaled to be meaningless - fifty cents of when you buy six! The produce is nasty and packaged in a way to make you buy more than you need. Want a poblano pepper? Gotta but five of them.And to make matters worse, they can't even keep the store stocked properly. So even if you accept everything else bad about the store, you still can't get the basic stuff you want because it's not in the shelf. The meat section is particularly badly stocked.I will never ship at giant eagle again and I implore you to do the same as well . They don't deserve you . Shop n Save is the best bet.

I like Giant Eagle as a whole and my experience with their cashiers has been pleasant and I really like self checkout. Having said this, sometimes their produce leaves a lot to be desired. Some of my celery stalks were near spoilt when I got home. So, yes, the produce needs work. Needs to be fresher.

Sign at the point of sale sign said $7.99. However, this is for pies in metal pans with clear plastic lids. Stacked among thoe were "Market District" pies on a cardboard box. I should have looked closer! The cashier rang the pie up with other items. Thought maybe the$17.99 was mislabeled for a 9" apple pie! Not even that good! Wasn't fresh and nasty crust. Ridiculous!!!

There's really no reason to come here except for convenience - and Giant Eagle knows that, which is why the prices are ridiculously high. The produce and meat are on the verge of spoiling; the items often ring up at a higher price than displayed; the employees find interesting ways to block shoppers from getting down aisles while they stock (looking at you, frozen foods ladies); and the curbside service is a joke. You have to be lucky to get a good shopper, and I've regularly had things missing from my curbside order, sometimes an entire bin of food, which means I have to go back to the store to ask for the rest of my order. And don't get me started on the new perks program. Now that I can't get 20% off groceries after spending $500, I only come here when Aldi and Walmart don't have what I'm looking for. The cherry on top is the pharmacy, though. I switched my prescriptions to CVS in Target because I don't want to wait 3 days to get something filled, and then an hour in line to pick it up.

I had a good experience. I had a cup of coffee at thier Starbucks and was subsequently able to do my shopping quickly via the self scan registers. I am glad that gift cards can now be purchased via the self scan registers.

How can Dollar. General sell Pepsi 12 packs at 3 for $13 and Giant Eagle sell them for $7.95 each or $24 Your Perks and My Perks are a sham. Roast beef ON SALE $12.99 a PD Stop gauging shoppers .

Typical Giant Eagle. Parking can be difficult to find, however. Avoid this place on Friday's -- very busy. Seems a favorite of the over 60 crowd with stacked carts. Long waits at the cashier.

Love this store! Great selection of beer and wine! Friendly, helpful employees. Great prepared foods section. They even carry my favorite local salsa! TWO UGLY MUGS! Must try!

This place is your local Giant Eagle, or Jan Uggle in the local vernacular. This is a high priced over rated grocery store that is unfortunately the only normal grocery store chain in town and tries to pretend it's fancy. It's not fancy. It's totes average.However.There was this really cute red head that worked there for about 10 years just about 10 years ago. I married her.

Giant Eagle has a one day sale today for 8ct brownies in the bakery while supplies last. My husband went to the store at 1:30 and they were out of the brownies. I wouldn't mine so much but the Giant Eagle in Brentwood is constantly out of the sale items in the weekly ad.

Short staffed pharmacy and the highest grocery prices in the country with the worst selection. But the staff is generally nice. Other than when they're ignoring customers and talking about fellow co-workers while ringing up your groceries. Regardless, stick with Aldi or Walmart. And they're not getting any better either. Plus certain things have been ringing up more than they're posted for months and even a senior staffer admitted it and said they doesn't know why it hasn't been fixed yet. It's still happening to this day. And they don't seem to care unfortunately.

There is a gentleman who works the deli counter and he excels in customer service. The deli closes early, he’s the ONLY one working, and there is a long line. He greets each customer with a smile and is very polite. He’s consistent with his accuracy in getting it right the first time. He doesn’t have on a name tag but I am thoroughly satisfied with my service and his ability to manage a busy busy evening! 5 STAR - you guys are lucky to have him!

I am a senior and use a walker. This is my one stop for all my pharmaceutical needs, my food needs - odds and ends of all kinds, daily bakery needs as well as delicious and beautiful celebration cakes and cookies. Wonderful deli meats and cheeses. Great extensive salad bar. And a cafeteria to take out or sit and have a nice lunch. I even get.my stamps here - and ATM needs. Nice, clean and attentive service.

It is a smaller store does not have a good variety of inventory. There has been constant upgrades to this location. And they're probably going to have a lot of traffic because they just opened a Starbucks and put a hot food counter. My experience with the hot food was a grumpy employee who was speaking to me like I knew their hours and and everything about their menu. Will not ever get her Foods there because when you're hungry to begin with a nasty employee does not make it a good experience. I may try the hot foods again in the future but a little Leary of who they hire for the hot foods

More expensive than other local grocery stores, staff aren't always the friendliest and now with the remodel, I find myself walking incircles trying to find items. I am not a fan of there only being 2 manned registers and that you have to put you cash in and take your change from the side slot that is so low to the ground, you literally have to bend almost to the floor to reach it.

I love that it is always clean & the sales associates are friendly and helpful! Unfortunately sometimes the checkout lines can be long.New store all around. Self checkouts are easy and there hasn't been a line to wait for. New carts, much better than the older ones. it's relatively busy but you get around rather easily!!

One cashier on the day before Labor Day? This location has gone downhill since it went corporate. Never enough cashiers, but plenty of people standing around. Couldn't even find a manager to complain to. Caste is set up weird, but I'm going there from now on.

Last night, I waited at the Deli for quite some time as Robert was the only one serving customers. He had a long line and he was cutting a lot of items fresh as requested , he remained pleasant and patient. I know Robert to be kind of new at this job but has some skill with a slicer and a great attitude. I noticed along with the other customers waiting, that Coleen was not waiting on any customers or helping Robert with any cutting or stock. She was catching up with some cleaning ? The deli had over an hour before closing, for her to ignore the long line and leave the pressure on just Robert is not right or fair to the customers or Robert. This is no way to treat a promising new employee or your customers. Look into this because your employees make your store special . You have some great people in this store , they are like neighbors.

Love this store. All employes are very nice and always ready to help. They remodeled and it looks great. I get more for my money here than I do at Shop n Save. Giant Eagle is definitely cheaper. Still the friendliest employees. The employees are always ready to help you

Such a disappointment ! I had to use curbside for groceries this Thanksgiving as we were bringing my mother home from the hospital. Never again will I use this service, not to mention I will not be shopping here again. First, I ordered the Giant Eagle .99 cent turkey, (total $18.99) received and was charged for the Butterball @ 2.79 a pound , total $45.25. Second, I ordered 2 veggie trays. Received, each has exactly 3 small pieces cauliflower and one of the trays was rotted had to be thrown away. Third, I ordered grapes and strawberries to make a small fruit tray for the family. The grapes were rotten and had to be thrown away.This is not the first time I have used curbside pick up / delivery, while there have been glitches, nothing to this extreme. We live in the area using this location since the beginning, unfortunately this will be the last.

Once again the put cans of pop in the same section the buy 2 get 2 and we had the 4 cases but one was not on the sale so had to go back to get one more of the sale ones. Took for ever in the self pay to get help taking off the one we didn't want. Also the prices are insanely high so it's Walmart from now on
