A great addition to Carrick, but at the same time just another junk shop. It would be nice if it was better organized and maintained. We need more stores like this in this area that provide everyday products at good prices, however; we don't need more stores that just pile in product and don't care what kind of people come in to the store nor care how they behave when they're there.We need law & order, and we need organization, bottom line is that we need better stores and stores with pride. And, I'm not NOT not talking about rainbow 🌈 pride, I'm talking about good old fashioned American 🇺🇸🦅🏈 pride!I think overall this store will do well here, especially if they hire well. Time will tell. Hopefully, with the friendly and competent staff that they have thus far they will be able to prosper, but I worry about the hurdles they will face with the crime we have seen spiral out of control in the last few years.Shop Safe 🛒🛍️🤞🍀😉👍

I called to ask if they had an item in stock, and I was told I'd have to come in and look because they had a line. Family Dollar should pay their employees better so they can properly staff their stores and meet customers' needs.

The one employee manager is very rude. She looked me up and down. I am African American btw, and I felt very offended and the stalks are very low, she seems to be mean to the employees

The store is big, they have a lot of things in here for a reasonable price!….Anything you can think of is in Family Dollar. Every time I come here there’s never a line, which is a good thing, their services fast, employees are friendly and helpful.

This is not a bad family dollar. It was just opened around two years ago. It's a much needed family dollar. There is a family dollar a few miles down the road in Mt Oliver, but that location is in a sketchy neighborhood and they don't have good customer service. This location however is very clean, the staff are pretty good, and they have a small parking lot.

They don’t stalk often and the employees don’t even say hello back when you come in and say hi how are you? But I like the new location I like that it has both household items and grocery’s. They have toys for kids and clothes for kids but you get what you pay for remember that. Good place for arts and crafts.

I was really excited when this place opened; its pretty close to my house and it saves me from going to Giant Eagle to fight big crowds there. But it’s gone downhill in the last few months. The last few times I’ve gone there — half the stuff is missing from the shelves. Checkout is super slow. They apparently ran out of their own bags so the clerk was using giant eagle bags for groceries. At one point there were 5 people in line, one of the staff comes up to the front. I thought she was gonna open another register but she just chugged a pop at the register and sauntered onward to the back of the store. I’d give 2 stars, but this is a super budget grocery store so 3 seemed more fair.

Nice store. Although the parking lot looks like the local garbage landfill. Really is a hot mess with litter. Someone should really sweep up that garbage. I had mentioned it to employee she could care less. What happened to pride in our community??

Since they've remolded, they have so much more to offer. The employees are very kind, considerate and very helpful. Prices are awesome.

Shelves are always empty the candy supply isn't really a large selection also takes weeks to stock shelves it seems a few cashiers are extremely slow and rude. Prices are ok nothing great Walmart and dollar general are cheaper for alot of items..

I have been working for this company for 4years now I’m one of the assistant at this location. We are very well trained very friendly and we try our hardest to do the best we can. Above and beyond. Please continue to come visit our store and watch us to continue to grow.

This is one of the better Family Dollar stores. The selections are more extensive than other Family Dollars. The Staff are very attentive and friendly. This Store is definitely an asset to the community.

Great location, but closes early weekly and shelves are never stocked. I feel bad for the employees though, they appear to be very overworked and that could be why the store is lacking.
