Dormont Florist took my colorful wedding vision and killed it!! Finding the perfect florist that understood my vision and was within my budget was actually one of the most difficult parts of the planning process for me and from the first time I met virtually with Chris, I could see he understood exactly what I was trying to picture. Making my wedding colorful was a such an important factor for me (I knew the flowers would make or break the colorful theme of the wedding so I was nervous to get it just right) and the flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous!! I have gotten so many compliments on them and they make all of our photos pop so beautifully. I recommend Dormont Florist to anyone looking for gorgeous wedding florals!!!

My husband and I hired Dormont Florist to design our florals for our wedding on Memorial Day Weekend at the Hotel Monaco. To say that our florals were amazing would be an understatement. When I saw my bouquet I literally cried out in excitement because of how unique and beautiful it was. While all the florals were amazing, my bridal bouquet and our wedding arch were truly pieces of art. We worked with Chris who is so professional, kind, and creative. I told Chris what my vision was for that day and he designed florals that totally exceeded my expectations and transformed the space- he is a true artist. We received compliments on the florals from our wedding guests and when others see our wedding photos they always comment about how beautiful our the flowers were. Working with Dormont Florist and Chris, for our wedding, was such a great experience!! Having very little knowledge of flowers, Chris made us feel comfortable with our options and took the time to walk through everything! On our big day, we were blown away - everything was GORGEOUS. The hairpiece was incredible (so many compliments!), and when we arrived at the reception, we were so happy to see all of the beautiful arrangements throughout the venue. Everything was perfect! We especially appreciated Chris’ flexibility, when we changed our floor plan and had to adjust our order, so close to our wedding date. We used Dormont Florist for our September 2020 wedding and we highly recommend them! I met with Chris to explain what we were looking for and he was able to envision what I had in mind even though I wasn’t the best at explaining it! COVID hit before our wedding and we had to change plans. Chris and the Dormont Florist team were flexible, understanding, and so responsive during our changing plans that it made the process painless. We ended up having a smaller ceremony and postponed the reception and had no problems changing the quantities and details of what we needed. Everything turned out better that I could have imagined. We highly recommend them!

Chris and his team from Dormont Florist were the best choice we made of all the vendors for my daughter's wedding. She had a vision of brightly colored and unique flowers and Chris delivered on exactly what she wanted. They also rented us all of the pillar candles that made the tables look fabulous and saved us lots of money. We really appreciated the time he took with us on choosing the right type of flowers and arrangements for the wedding and also created an amazing arch for the backdrop of the ceremony. He took my vision and made it into something even better than I imagined. Chris went above and beyond collaborating with EF Lighting to make our floral covered chandelier a complete DREAM. They have been here forever, a staple on Potomac.I needed a last minute anniversary present, when I walked in I asked if they had any pre-made bouquets. They let me know they didn't but a great employee from behind the counter said it would take them 5 minutes to put one together. They asked what I was looking to get and my price point. She took the time to make an absolutely amazing bouquet for my wife in less than 5 minutes, super quick and it looked great! I was really impressed with their skill and how quickly they put the bouquet together. The wife absolutely loved it! Only florist I'll use from now on.

Hire Dormont Florist for your wedding! Chris was fantastic to work with! He responded to emails quickly and set up time to talk about my vision and budget. He and his team were also super accommodating, taking flower to two locations on the day of the wedding (the church as well as the reception).
