The Dollar General by my house is freaking awesome. It has a huge selection of food, snacks, home decor, etc. It also has 2 entire isles of dollar items that I could literally go through and spend $100 on things I don't even need. I'm also a smoker and they sell cigarettes there as well. I love it and the convenience for me is that it's only a 2 minute walk from my house. It makes my life a hell of a lot easier.

I like coming here to get stuff that’s usually too expensive at the regular grocery stores. Things like garbage bags, laundry detergent and dish detergent. You’ll be surprised of the cute little trinkets they have that I swear I’m not going to buy but end up not being able to pass them up!

This was a shop and save. Now it's a dollar general. I believe this store has gotten more business compared to the shop the save that was previously here. They sell a lot of stuff here and it's a store in the middle of a neighborhood, so convenient for you if you live nearby. However, they don't have enough staff working here. I came here one day and there were 10 people in line, only two people working in the store?!?!

This is another store I really love. They carry alot of stuff and usually they are not real busy. Steady business but never packed with people. I usually find everything I'm looking for at this little Gem!!! Its clean, neat and organized.

Dollar General has a larger selection of things Specialty Foods rather than Dollar Tree. It carries a lot of the same things Family Dollar and some others will have but of course those stores are a little higher and price then regular stores. I like that you can get milk there as well as cards Toys and other things. It's okay. I don't like it as well as I like Dollar Tree because Dollar Tree has more crafts and different things, but they don't have food in my area so that's why I give the Dollar Tree or the Dollar General and a little bit of a thumbs up

Friendly staff, cheap prices, and has a wide array of basic items so you don't have to go to Giant Eagle or bigger stores for something simple like bread, milk, water, cold medicine, Band-Aids, toothpaste, paper towels etc. They even have an auto isle that's great for the weekend warrior that likes to keep their cars clean inside and out. Had to subtract one 🌟 for half of the time, there's one cashier. However, other staff will normally start up another register if they notice a large line. So overall, good experience. Will always return if I just need a few items. Could grocery shop there of you wanted to though.

the majority of the time that I go, they seem to have several workers meandering around while one worker struggles as a cashier. I'm not sure if it is lack of training, but the cashiers need to handle their job better. On more than one occasion, they don't know how to log into the register, don't know how to process cash back without system issues, and do not work together as a team. (Example: today 3 workers shuffled around the front leaving one cashier and a line of 8 people- was a 10 minute wait to buy two items).I live close, I love the thought of having a nice chain store close by, but in truth, this place is often less of a convienance than if I were to drive to Giant Eagle.

We had a package that was sent to the FedEx location at this store in Plum. The package had a computer in it and due to a shipping error, we couldn't pick it up from this location. Rebecca, the store manager, was simply awesome.She spent an hour and a half working with us and FedEx to resolve the situation while waiting on customers and helping her store employees. Talk about multitasking! Thank you, Rebecca, for helping us out to get our package.

The black haired cashier who never wears a name tag is CONSTANTLY on her cell phone while ringing you out. And today she was literally filing her nails at the register. Uh ew. Never had issues with anyone else but this girl has got to go. How can you justify constant phone use and then filing your nails where people check out with food.

It's okay it was clean easy to find stuff at least the stuff I wanted good service but I don't do not like the idea that you knew I was shopping there I think it is private with people shop at and I think it's unsafe if people can locate you so easy

Dollar General saves you money and has a decent variety/selection of items available to shop for. It really makes good economic sense to shop DG first to see if what you want is available at DG first, at lower DG prices. Associates are friendly and helpful if you need to ask them questions. So DG makes sense and can always fit in to one's shopping itinerary.

There were items that were clearly discounted... But. Were gonna be charged full price.. Didnt get them.. Then. Only 2 registers opoened .. Lines were crazy.. Then my ap. Wouldn't work.. Soo couldn't use my clipped coupons .. Family dollar isnt this bad

The manager was nice and the workers did assist me when I was shopping. I gave it a 4 because it was a little disoriented, merchandise not put away blocking shelves.

They've got so many useful items amd good quality brand named items at very low prices. You'll find yourself going in there with one thing in mind and leave with 5 bags of stuff.lol I'm serious though!

Stores hours are 8am to 10pm everyday! They even have it posted right on their doors. This is the fifth Sunday that 8am has come and gone and the store is still not open. With about 10-15 people waiting outside. How hard is it to make it to work on time when your start time is 8am?!
