Cashier took my order and gave change for my payment. She then took and filled orders for two customers who were behind me, then walked to the back of the store and began decorating a cake. A different person then came to the front of the store where I was seated, waiting. She asked “Can I help you?” as if I’d just walked in. Quite nonchalantly don’t seem to care about customer service. I also read through reviews, consistently citing similar issues. The DQ solution seems to be - Sorry, come back and spend more money with us 👍🏻.

So I checked out the reviews for this particular Dairy Queen the other day online and a lot of them were very poor because of poor customer service. And they were very accurate because I just went there this morning to get a box of buster bars and they were just opening up for the day and the woman that unlock the door had a very angry scowl on her face never said hello never said good morning never said how can I help you she looks extremely unhappy and unfriendly and unfortunately, this particular Dairy Queen is the closest one to my house. I would hate to think that I have to go to the Dairy Queen in Mount Lebanon from now on because they’re parking sucks.

One thing I love about DQ is their availability. We all know they always deliver on taste but the fact that they open late is a bonus in my book. Easy and quick. My wife wanted cake but all they had was a whole cake option which I shouldn’t even ding them a star to begin with but it would be nice to have that option. Staff even offered to add writing on the cake which I appreciate the concern. Cake tasted great and would definitely come back

Unpleasant staff, my order was wrong, older lady and round man kept whispering and looking up front. Bad vibes. They seemed miserable and intentionally made the wrong item. Will never be back. The other low reviews are accurate.

Does any DQ know how to make a milkshake? This DQ uses either strawberry powder or strawberry juice. Other DQ's use strawberry topping, like the kind that you get with a Sundae. The topping leaves little bits of the fruit, and a very flavorful shake. This shake was more like the stuff you add to milk. So far the only DQs that made a good strawberry shake, are now closed.

Very poor customer service! I stopped by on a Monday evening with my mother who was in town for Mother’s Day and was craving Dairy Queen after a family outing. Closing time is listed online at 9:15 pm. We walked in the door at 8:55 pm after noticing customers were inside still. We were greeted by a girl who seemed to be in charge with a very rude attitude. We were told they were closing and were only taking cards & they were out of chocolate. I mentioned online states they were open until 9:15 pm. Again rudeness “well there’s nothing I can do about it.” This place will never get a cent of my money ever again. Sadly, Dairy Queen was a family favorite.

I love this Dairy Queen location. Everyone is so nice & helpful. I recently had a birthday cake done for my husbands 65th. It was a Medicare cake. They went above & beyond for me. They covered the see through lid since he was picking it up so the surprise for the cake wasn’t ruined. They did such a fantastic job on the cake. Everyone loved it.

I ordered a reeses blizzard cake from this location for my birthday. I put in the customization request to make it as pink as possible. They called to double check what I meant and I said to do whatever they wanted but the pinker the better! When I went to pick it up, I was so in love with the cake! They went above and beyond with my cake and I was so happy with it! Will definitely be ordering from this location again.

GREAT ice cream. Came with with my dog Schneider and he sadly was not allowed to enter the store. Unfortunately because of this matter I will have to bring the rating down to a 3 star,, but besides this the ice cream was fairly tasty.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Friendly, helpful, and know how to mix blizzards. We brought a child with us and didn't know what she'd like other than wanting something pink. The staff offered to make a cotton candy blizzard which isn't even on their sign but wanted to make it for this child. They also said if she didn't like it, we could switch it out which we ended up doing ha! They got her ice cream with pink sprinkles instead. She loved it! Highly recommend!

Great customer service. I was telling a worker there how I love ice cream cake but the fudge is too rich for me. She offered to make me a custom cake with twist ice cream and no fudge, just cake crunchies and white icing. I picked up the cake the next day and it was PERFECT. My son loved it, too, and it has become our new favorite frozen treat. I try to always have one in my freezer for when my kids visit.

Normally one wouldn't complain but....I ordered a small iced animal cookie Blizzard. I I barely can handle that. This one handed over was in a small cup but so so so much was in it, two people could have easily shared it. I had to lick it before it toppled all out of the cup & it was still giant when I took the photo. I barely ate half and had to toss the rest.Ehhhh staff. I've come across way friendlier. Just your normal teenagers working a summer job it seemed.I won't be back to this one and once sunset is over, my Blizzard is done so that's fine!

My daughter & I were passing thru & both ordered strawberry cheesecake blizzards & I paid for the extra but the girl making them did not pay attention to what we wanted or paid for. Too busy acting important to do her job right or care to. Very disgusted.

Ordered a Reese Peanut Butter ice cream cake was horrible. Just because I had happy birthday written on the top I missed out on 8 reese cups. Then when I ate it I couldn't tell what kinda cake I ordered. Never again. My business is good anywhere and I have family members that agree as well. The manage could not help.

It is important to know that this location has a new manager and owner which finalized in April. Any reviews prior to that are based on old ownership. The new owner, manager and her team are quick, efficient and a lot more friendlier than who were previously employed. I recommend this location for great cakes in a timely manner.

Worst Dairy Queen I have ever been too!!! My husband and I had a coupon for 2 blizzards. When we tried to use it the manager told us we couldn't and was really nasty about it! When I asked her for her name and contact information for her owner she wouldn't give it to me. I was standing there trying to figure out what to do and I heard her say to her employee to ignore us. Then she turned around and threatened to call the police! Do not go to that location! They have the worst customer service ever!!!!!

Ice cream was amazing! Service was super fast even though they were super busy! And prices were normal!! There isn't very many places to sit in there though if it wasn't nice enough for me to sit down I would of had to go in my car and eat or stand up and eat.

Mostly teenager run joint. Ice cream is ice cream and it really can't be messed up. Would like it if the employees were a tad friendlier, but they do their job which is more than what some people do nowadays LOL

The worst experience I have EVER HAD.My fiancé and I placed our order at 7:21pm. There were other customers that came in after us that had gotten their order immediately. Honestly it felt targeted considering we were the only 2 African Americans in the establishment. Our orders remained on the screen and it wasn't until 7:35 after everyone else including people that came after us had received their order that we had gotten ours. If it wasn't for my fiancé addressing the issue we probably would have been waiting longer.

We have gotten blizzards from here multiple times that have next to none of the states candy in it except at the very top of the blizzard. I ordered an Oreo royal blizzard tonight that had ZERO Oreo in it. They told my husband that it was only supposed to be in the middle. How can you work at Dairy Queen and not even know what is in the blizzards? They basically gave us a cup full of vanilla ice cream.

Ordered a cookie dough blizzard in a waffle cone. One person ordered after me. Mine was handed to a boy and then realized it wasn't his and handed to me. It looked disgusting. Half melted, dripping on the floor. I went back up to the counter only to be ignored for 5 more minutes. Told the lady I ordered a blizzard. She said "that's what it is". I threw it away on my way out the door.

Despite not closing for another hour and a half the staff informed me they weren't serving food for the rest of the evening. I got the impression the staff neither cared or wanted to work at all. I'm not sure if they were trying to close early or just didn't feel like making food orders but I was genuinely disappointed with the service.
