I’m not sure what the manager’s name was, but he was incredibly apologetic and nice. The photo printer was down, and my photos didn’t print. I know this can be irritating to some, but I was not in a rush so I didn’t mind. The manager took the time to fix the machine in front of me, and I got my photos printed quickly. Nairon was also really nice in conversation as he scanned my order. Highly recommend these two!

UPDATE YOUR HOURS. This location is NOT open as Google Maps says it is, and their hours in general are TERRIBLE. For example it closes at 5:00 pm on Saturdays and is ONLY open from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm on Sundays. 4 out of 24 hours total for a CVS in the downtown of a major city?? Are you kidding me?! The absolute *worst* CVS I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your time.

I've been there a couple of times and there's always an older member of staff yelling at the others, usually its either an older guy or an older lady. The lady in particular made a guy go over to her while he was in the middle of helping me find something, and the older guy would just talk to the staff in a very condescending tone or straight up scream at them regardless of who is around. Not very welcoming tbh.

Departments of this store become unavailable at random times as employees take breaks and lunches. Avoid if you need to walk in, get something, get out, unless you like rolling the dice on not hitting their breaks.

Left CVS today and highly dissatisfied, a cashier by the name of Jamayah didn't notified me about my 2 for 12$ off coupon our any other coupons I had credit to my extra care card. I found her name on my digital receipts I have sent to my email. Please ask customers if they want to use they coupons if we our checking out at the Register. Thanks so much!

Any CVS store in LA is open until at least midnight or 24/7. They are also huge. My experience in Pittsburgh was not the same. They are smaller and also they close at 7pm. I went at 7:05pm and was shocked that the door was locked. Next day I went back before 7pm. The service was friendly and I got what I wanted. No complaint! I remember getting a plastic bag and was shocked. That was when I realized again I wasn't in LA. I don't know if they still give out plastic bags.

People have been replaced by self checkout. I had about $30 worth of items. I left them when I realized it was self check out as I don't support corporate greed. Hire people to check me out. It keeps my taxes down if people have jobs. If I check myself out, I expect to be paid and if I am injured while doing so, I should receive workman's comp benefits!!!

It's convenient and has a fair number of grocery items, but the store is usually a disaster with merchandise falling off the shelves. Managers and cahiers are hard to come by and the self-checkout area is a cluster of incompetence. Basically, if there is a line, drop your stuff and leave- it'll be faster to go somewhere else.

They messed up all of my prescriptions and when I called to find out where they were they told me they couldn’t help me and hung up on me. Horrible people and horrible service!

Pharmacy Experience only!!!I just moved back to Pittsburgh from out of the state for over 10 years . I was told by insurance provider that this particular location #242 was the only location in the country that had the capabilities to accept the insurance. I was kinda angry at first and felt very inconvenienced, However I was wrong and they were fantastic and very easy and eager to accommodate me. Thank You Beckie and staffproper bling authority to accept & charge the provider, however I complained within my own head about having to deal with going Downtown. $6.49 FOR 1 GALLON OF REGULAR MILK. Nothing more need be said, but I will anyway. That's way way more than what milk costs in Alaska or Hawaii. Where stuff like milk is expensive because of high transportation costs. Imagine being in Juneau Alaska and paying way less for milk there, than in downtown Pittsburgh. I thought Target in Homestead had the highest food prices but it must be CVS. $3.49 for Campbell's soup; usually half that elsewhere. Shop elsewhere if you are smart!! etc.etc.

Pharmacy counter didn't understand how to read/input Tricare insurance account information, making me have to reschedule. The pharmacy at a Walmart, of all places, did manage figure it out.

I live downtown and go here often. They carry a large grocery section and some fresh food, which is great. they are always busy, so some times the shelves are not fully stocked, but that is because they turn over so fast.

I live downtown and don't have a car so I am dependent on the downtown businesses for most of my needs. I have lived many places and have always used CVS as my preferred drug store. But after dealing with the rude and unpleasant salespeople at this location in downtown Pittsburgh, I am off CVS for life.

Staff is always very friendly. Some goods are overpriced - but its a CVS, so you expect it. Contrary to some of the other reviews - it is not only self check out. There are usually one or two cashiers working along with the self checkout stands.

I needed 1 thing an I could see it. It was 1 min before closing and there were sill people shopping. The clerk decided he needed to remind himself of his "power" and wouldn't let me in cause they were "closed". Worst shopping experience in my life. Go anywhere else if you can help it.

Usually , I have a good experience whenever I visit my local CVS pharmacy. Carrie and the rest of the staff (Pharmacy) are very Professional , Courtious , & Knowledgeable.

This CVS shouldn't even exist. They close WAAAAY too damn early. What's the damn point of having a big CVS downtown if your never open...WHACK! Close it down. And turn it into something else that stays open longer

I can't comment on the quality of the store because they have such terrible hours. Where else in the world does CVS close at 6pm? In a major city downtown no less. How lame.
