I take my dog here for grooming and they are GREAT!! The only thing I don’t like is the smell of the facility. When you walk in, it just smells like nasty, wet dog and the air is THICK. I understand they are also a boarding/day care facility and smells are normal & bound to happen, but I think they should try and keep the lobby/check in area smelling nice for customers. Otherwise no complaints!

I have a high energy pup that needs more engagement that I can give. He LOVES camp days and is exhausted when he comes home. Win for both of us. I don't make a habit of checking the cameras however, when I have, the counselors are always engaging the dogs.

Absolutely love this place and the folks that work there! They knew my dog’s name before they knew mine; also he obviously has his own greetings with individual “camp counselors”.The two photos give you an idea of my dog’s experience at Camp Bow Wow North: the passed out pooch is after his first day at Camp (and pretty much after any day there); the other was taken by one of the trainers of the other resident with my dog after a private training session while he was an overnight camper when I needed to travel for a week.

When I visit my aging-in-place parents in Pittsburgh from out of town, Stella visits Camp Bow Wow day care. Although she just comes a few times a year, the staff all know her name when I drop her off and pick her up. Knowing that I have a safe, friendly, clean, FUN place for Stella to interact with "her people" while I focus all my energy on my mom for 8 hours a day is truly a comfort for all of us. See you in December!

These people treat your pup like thier own! My Goldendoodle loves coming to play and they do the cutest enrichment activities like painting with your pup, holiday pictures, sniff and seek and extra snuggle time! 💕 I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Pittsburgh North! Also the grooming is top notch as well!

I've used Camp Bow Wow North Hills for several years, and have always been pleased with the care and service they provide for my fur babies. Their staff is very knowledgeable and caring. My dogs love going there for daycare, and I have no worries when I need to board them for extended periods of time. If you are looking for a good group of people to take care of your dog, give them a try!

This location on Babcock really came through for us for daycare with very short notice! We had not been to this location and to save a lot of extra driving in the opposite direction, we decided to try it (but with little time to make a reservation). From the moment I talked with them, they helped us make it happen! They contacted another location, got our pet's current records from them, left us a voicemail, followed up with us again and confirmed that they could have our dog for daycare... and before we knew it, he was walking in first thing Saturday morning!! Thank youso much!!! We LOVE our dog, but sometimes he can't go everywhere with us and you made it possible for our family to make a special trip and special memories, without worrying about our sweet puppy. We will definitely use Camp Bow Wow, Pittsburgh North Hills, again!!!

My Mari just LOVES his days at camp! The staff is wonderful and I can't say enough good things about them. He is a quirky little dog and they know just how to handle him, whether it be the slow introductions to new people or that he is getting a little "hangry" and just needs a snack before play resumes.

They do a great job getting to know your dog and make sure they all have a safe and fun day!! My puppy is always happy stay here! And I love that I can see on camera… many times I open the camera and there is someone holding him or petting him. And he plays all the time with the other dogs.When it’s hot they set up the pool for dogs who like to play in the water.People there always treat us nicely. We come in and they already say: “Hi, Milo!!!” And my puppy gets super excited. He knows he’ll have the best time.

We bring our Dachshund, Finnegan, for daycare and boarding at Camp Bow Wow and have had very positive experiences!! Finn is a bit of an anxious pup (and I’m an anxious dog mama) and the staff at camp bow wow north are so patient and kind! They are quick to respond to my emails when I request an update. I love how I can watch him when I’m at work on the camera. The camp counselors do a great job of not only monitoring the pups, but also interacting with them throughout the day. You can tell they really care about the dogs, and provide high-quality care. We won’t be taking Finn anywhere else!

I just popped in to check the place out as I am looking for a good place to get my dogs nails trimmed AND a place to maybe drop her off for a few hours so she can get some doggo play time. The way the staff interacted with the dogs sold me immediately. They looked like they were having so much fun (the dogs were too!). I'll be making plans for my fur baby to spend some time there soon!

Camp Bow Wow is a national chain that provides dog services such as day camp, overnight boarding, training, and grooming. I have been taking my dog here for day camp, and I will likely take her here for overnight boarding in the future. This business has cameras that broadcast videos online, so people can watch how their dogs are interacting with the employees and other dogs. I have not seen my dog in any problematic situations. My dog seems happy to come here, and she seems to have fun. The employees have talked nicely to my husband and me. The prices of services are reasonable.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow is wonderful! Our dog is new to daycare and boarding and can be nervous around other dogs. They did a great job during her evaluation and took their time with making her feel comfortable. Every time she goes, she opens up and relaxes more and more, and is less anxious when she comes home. If you're looking for a place that understands dogs and their behaviors and does everything they can to make daycare a pleasant experience for your pup, I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow North Hills!

I had my dog Hank stay a few nights for boarding at the North hills location ( normally he would go to the South Hills but there were booked) and we had to add on an extra day for flight issues. I tried calling multiple days to let them know that he does not need fed on his last day because we didnt want him to get stomach issues from eating different food and no answer. Tried calling to let them know I was going to be there early to pick him up so they could bath him early enough and no answer. Tried calling to let them know that his bowl and ear wash wasnt in his bag and no answer. I get places get busy but that is very frustrating when you are trying to coordinate with a business who has someone sitting at the front desk and for there to be no answer. And the only reason im leaving a review is so I could possibly get in contact with someone about my dogs belongings.

I have taken my two dogs to Camp Bow Wow North for over 11 years and have never had a problem with anyone or anything there. The minute you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. All employees treat me and my dogs with a smile, the utmost respect, and are always so happy to see my dogs. My dogs love being around the camp counselors and try to get as many pats and smooches as they can get in a day. Thank you for being such a trusted place.

Everyone of your staff truly enjoys the dogs and their job. Our dog has separation anxiety and the staff has gone out of their way to work with her. Everyone knows her name and that she is mine. After the first week, I no longer had to say that I was there to pick up my dog, Linc. Really is a pleasant and happy place.

Camp Bow Wow North Hills always remembers our pups and make us feel like family. They have great options for either day care or overnight care; our two dogs always get to stay together to keep each other company whether it's in standard care or in a suite. Yes, they have suites with cameras so you can watch your pups while they're sleeping. Even if you don't choose a suite, though, there are cameras in all the play areas so you can watch them play during the day.I did have one bad experience regarding something that a counselor said regarding our pups getting the right food amounts almost a year ago. When I spoke to management about it, it was rectified and handled very well.Leanne is amazing at grooming and always makes the pups look awesome. I've had some bad experiences with groomers in Pittsburgh, but Leanne has always been awesome. She got my "tough" dog's nails short enough that he can walk comfortably (and quietly). She's the only one besides myself that I would trust to groom my dogs, and she is INFINITELY better than me, of course.They also sometimes bring in a pet photographer and allow you to reserve "sessions". We had the BEST Christmas cards this year.

My dog, Artie has been going to Camp Bow Wow North now for about two years and it has been a wonderful experience! The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and amazing with each and every pup that walks in the door! Artie loves going each week to not only play with his other dog friends, but to see his awesome counselor human friends! He has so much fun there and they do a great job taking care of him for me whether it is with day care, overnight boarding, or his spa days! Thank you Camp Bow Wow North for everything you do for Artie! And for me! I definitely recommend CBW North to everyone that has a pup!

The care and the love that they offered to my pup for his first overnight (and first multi-night) kennel stay was absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend them more. They love the animals that come through, and it's very apparent.

The camp counselors are all very nice and caring toward all the dogs. My dog has stayed overnight for 5 consecutive days on one occasion and he we felt comfortable leaving him the the care of the camp bow wow staff. The early morning hours are beneficial for our work schedules. My dog loves coming to camp to play with the other dogs and gets great exercise, which helps him get lots of energy out (especially be cooped up inside in the winter).
