I’m at busy beaver right now and there is not 1 car in the parking lot other than the employees and now I see why. A regular outlet receptacle is .77 anywhere else in the city but at Busy Beaver it’s $2.14. The plug covers are $1.99 each. ROFLMAO. if you are going to compete with other contractor stores you have to be competitive (which you are not). This is the 100th time I’ve come here and they don’t ever have what I need and when they do it’s 3X more than any where else. I won’t be coming back. As for the great deals card, what and where are the great deals? I’ve never received anything and been coming here for 20 years. I won’t be back. I’m sick of being ripped off.

Don’t waste time entering this store! they have no employees, and the two women all they say is I don’t know I don’t know! Drive right by and go to Lowe’s or Home Depot save yourself the time and aggravation!

A pretty good hardware store. Out of about a dozen visits I was only unable to find what I wanted once. Prices are a mix of reasonable, outrageous, and fantastic. You must comparison shop here - which is the main reason why this is four stars instead of five.Staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable.

4 months and counting since I made initial payment for 2 windows . Still waiting for job to be completed . One mistake after another . Incompetent . Management and window installer are very nice , but someone needs to be held responsible for this disastrous customer experience .

Years of Excellent Customer Service from all of the Employees. Always friendly from the time you walk into the store, and always asking do you need any help to the car loading. They have always gone above and beyond, which I could never get at a Big Box Store. Thanks

The place isn't bad, it is a hardware gardening store on a lower scale than a Lowe's or Home Depot etc... in size and choices. Can be a little pricey compared to those places too but some of that probably is due to the smaller location and amount they can get in compared to bigger places. They are usually not very busy and conveniently located for me, so I would still recommend going there if you need something.

The cashier was excellent , very pleasant and engaged. Also I had to ask where something was and the gentleman who helped me was quite knowledgable.Pricing was unbelievably low , but I could not find a cart so left without seeing the whole store since my hands were full.

Huge line to checkout. The cashier was doing a wonderful job with being the only register opened. This didn't bother me. What really bothered me was two guys sitting and talking for a good ten minutes in the front office. No one could help this poor girl ringing people out. A lady approached and talked to the assistant manager. I overheard the conversation and agreed with her. He did nothing to help the situation. I asked him if he as an assistant manager knew how to run a cash register? His response...shop elsewhere. At that point I walked away. No team work and it starts with management! That cashier truly deserves this man's job. No support. Very disappointed. Hopefully this changes.

Lots of selection and helpful employees. You can always find what you are looking for. I stop here before Lowe's and rarely have to go to Lowe's because I couldn't find what I needed

I have shopped at BB a dozen times, so far. While the other critiques are somewhat valid (some prices are 10% above other retailers, and selection is smaller) they are a much smaller store. That also makes learning the layout much easier, and shopping faster. Service is A+ and on every visit I have always found special bargains that made parting with some of my hard-earned $ a no-brainer. Most recently, I bought a good quality re-conditioned 16" gas chainsaw there for $77. They have earned a solid rating in my list of top 5 hardware stores.

It is a wonderful place to shop especially the women cashiers they are so outgoing and very very friendly. If you have a question they do everything in their best power to answer it. Very kind and compassionate. Prices are very fair.

Every time I call nobody answers. Why even have a phone if you don’t answer. Every time I go into the store, they call somebody the back to help me load of concrete or wood. It takes forever for somebody out there. I gotta go back into the store and ask somebody to help me.

Gave 5 stars because of the excellent service of the silver gray long haired guy who helped load our curbside pickup. I regret not knowing his name. He was professional and polite and went above and beyond to load our car. Give him a raise.

Went on a Friday evening. Not busy,no lines, fully stocked as per mailer ad. Store was very clean, organized, friendly, helpful staff. Even helped load 4 chairs in truck for me.

There price are reasonable, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Certain sections of the store could be a bit more organized but over all the store is clean. The signs over the isles could be a bit bigger. Gave 5 stars because of staff and how clean it is.

Its hard work shopping here. Many items stored outside. Many items do not have prices on them. Employees cannot find items because they are all over the outside property. They have an unusual policy of making the cashiers say hello to everyone when you walk in. It is kind of uncomfortable because it is obvious that they dont like doing it. It is forced and they seemed bothered by having to do it. I say just go up the street to Lowes. You will find what you need easier and you wont have to walk behind the building in the rain to get your item. Prices will be on the items as well.

The patio furniture was on sale. I got a very nice set for a very decent price plus they're putting it together for me at no additional charge. I also got a cute fountain for my yard at a very good price.

They are community oriented in helping organizations put together a fundraiser for a car wash and supplied them with things needed. You just don't see that much anymore. Employees were very friendly.

Fine store if you're in a pinch for something - but they could get their act together with customer service and general cohesiveness between stores.Circular stated that there was still curbside pickup available - and I confirmed with the corporate account on Facebook that it was still available at this location.I then called to place an order (which took far too long. First 4 times I called this store the phone rang and rang with no one picking up.), and before I could finish asking i was interrupted and just told 'no'. With two Lowes, a Home Depot, and Rollier's within just as easy of a drive I'm far more interested in taking business there.

I went for my plants and flowers and was horrified by the lack of choice and condition of them! Went back inside to get new window screens and couldn't find them nor any workers for that matter! Went to pay for screens that I eventually found and asked cashier for help in getting a key made,which she had to do. Then a line started while I waited for her to come back to my job.Sad to say but I think the competition is going to break Busy Beaver!!

Convenience is nice but why are the prices so much more then there competitors? I only go here for small amounts and to tell you the truth I wouldn't go at all but i live right next to them.... otherwise i go to Lowes or Home Depot cause i honestly cant afford to pay 3$ an item more on average... that is just absurd!

I will never go back there again. I have gone there several times and most of the time they are out of stock on something that I need or they don't carry it. For example twice I've gone to the store for big paper bags for lawn clippings and they are out of stock. When I go to Lowe's the other hand they have plenty instock. Biggest waste of my time.

I normally don't write reviews, but the staff at this location was very very helpful and most importantly ,friendly, even though they were closing close to the time we got there. We needed wood for a project and instead of just giving us the huge piece of wood and sending us on our way to figure it out ourselves, they offered to cut it up for us. Super personable and friendly staff. It's a bit out of the way from my home, but i know where i'll be going next time i need anything that they would carry!

Another wasted trip to Busy Beaver for the signature sale but not having it in stock. I have wasted so many trips to this place and they never seem to have what’s on sale. It’s paint this time for $18 a gallon and of course they don’t have it but they do have $42 paint. Lol. Of course….. well, that’s it for me Busy Beaver it’s off to Lowe’s from now on. I am so sick of wasting my time stopping here for absolutely no reason.Thanks for the 80th trip and then having to go to another store to get what I need. I’m sick of it.

These folks always helped me. I needed attic ventilation and the options were not good as I have a tile roof with all sides sloped. They suggested a simple bathroom fan which I installed to great results. Total cost > $24Other options were much more costly. Big Box stores help was unable to think this thru with me.I go there all the time and I recommend you do as well.

My go-to place (when on sale) for mulch, top soil, compost, contractor bags and spring annuals. Sales flyer (which comes out every 2 weeks) has great sales items with usually a killer saturday special sales item. Their inventory is smaller versus Home Depot/Loew's but the closer location makes it worth stopping. Free parking.

I needed a ceiling fan repair, and I looked repairmen up online. The electricians said I needed a handyman, and the handymen said the fan is electric - I needed an electrician. I went down to Busy Beaver for a recommendation, as this is a hardware store, and I was told by the clerk, who asked his store manager, "can you just look it up online." I said I looked it up online and he said he didn't know. Again, "Look it up online." I couldn't even get a recommendation about repair service at this hardware store.
