Prices are higher than any other place. People that work there are stupid. Be careful these people work for the police and are in on surveillance. Don't shop here. Their not for the community. I hate this place. Would rank no stars. Cashier is ugly and stupid. Fat management is out of his mind.

There was not a single usable piece of produce at this store today. Every lettuce and green was wilted, every single pepper had wrinkled skin, broccoli limp with brown and mushy spots, zucchini and cucumbers all soft. Seriously these people should be ashamed of themselves. I still gave two stars because the young man working the register was very nice and did a great job of bagging my items carefully, so my chips and eggs didn't get broken.

I like this grocery store because it's close to my house. However, it feels like I'm stepping back into time (which isn't a bad thing) when entering here. It feels like the grocery stores I went to when growing up as a kid. They have everything you need here, but the prices can be really high compared to other places. It isn't the cleanest place either. The employees are always pleasant and it is usually never busy.

I am pleasantly surprised by the organic and vegan offerings at Community. The prices seem reasonable to me, but I may not be the most price aware person.The store is clean, and the staff is pleasant.I would love to see organic fruits and vegetables that are not pre-packaged.

I want to give this store more stars because in the past they were much better. They use to have more employees and those employees were great. They knew your name, always smiled....but now they must have gotten rid of all of those employees. The current employees are just kind of stale....They don't say hi or say goodbye or thank you they don't really say anything at all or show any type of emotion except that of boredom. There's been several times I have purchased Hostess products there that were outdated... Sometimes even by months. The overall selection is embarrassing. If you want one of the new products of today this is not the store. The overall shopping experience is depressing. Zero thought has gone into decor. Although it is organized and clean it's just so boring to visually see. Absolutely nothing to entice you to buy anyting. Besides the mundane employees and extremely limited selection the manager is super nice and cares. However the manager cannot find good employees. This is most likely because of what they pay them. So the poor selection of a employees is not necessarily that of the manager. Unfortunately this is a store that many people have to go to because they live in the community and don't have transportation to the other stores. Or cannot carry their groceries far. So they have to shop at this store. It is a truly unpleasant store to shop in. And although the employees are completely without emotion they are at least not mean or rude.... They literally just don't say anything..... And don't expect a thank you for shopping here you're not going to get that.

Would give it negative stars if I could. My 3 year old daughter had to use the bathroom and they refused to let her use theirs. I get “no public restroom” but Jesus SHES THREE!!

This store is a mess, they have all of the entrance areas chained off they say to prevent theft but I have never seen any other store do this and I'm sure they all deal with some theft...the employees usually can barely be bothered to lift their heads to say hello, the prices are laughably high and stock is terrible, forcing Bloomfield residents who don't drive or can't travel to pay more for worse food. Bloomfield deserves a better store.

I found gas x medicines and some other items are expired four months ago. I think the store manager should pay attention to this issue. Most of the people don’t check the expiration date.

Shur Save II is definitely a step back from the original Shur Save. Time will tell if it can redeem itself. Another Pittsburgh gem lost.

Convenient location, but to be honest they're frequently out of stock of basic essentials. Produce is of low quality. And somehow despite this, everything still costs more than a Giant Eagle or Aldi. Staff is friendly though, but I don't think management is doing them any favors

Expect to pay $2 more than you would at Giant Eagle for half the quality. Real issue was I saw a manager talking down to a cashier today that does a great job at being friendly and welcoming. Not sure I will continue to support a business like this.

This Is my neighborhood grocery store. It almost was turned into expensive condominiums. The community came out and voiced their opposition at a planning meeting. Another local grocery chain decided to buy and continue operating it. If they hadn't my journey to a grocery store works have been made much more difficulty. So, I'm very glad they decided to take over. They've got a few new items which is nice to have. The prices are approximately the same, of not better on some things. The manager is very friendly, nice and helpful. Some of the other members of the staff need some help in this area, but it's really not much of a big deal. The lines move as fast as the last store, and there are a similar number of cashiers open. I KNOW the neighborhood is glad to have the community market. Were hair or community isn't going to be gentrified.

Deli is awesome, they always have different weekly deals. A nice choice of vegetarian snacks stores usually organized and clean. Once in a while they were on pretty good ice cream deals so be on the lookout for them. They also have a good butter selection which I really appreciate. Their fruit and vegetables are just okay, but if you hunt around you can usually find something decent. I don't buy the bulk of my produce here. Whoever there is a nice variety of salsa and chip selection. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the store and they keep excellent hours!

Great independent grocery store in the middle of the city. Big store with a small store feel. Friendly staff and some outside of the box food options. The parking lot can be a little rough to maneuver but well worth the effort.

I was in and out with no issues. Always go to the same cashier if possible bc she's fast, pays attention and focuses on work and not on her phone like another cashier does. She says hi and smiles unlike the other male cashier who always has his head down and never talks

Not now but when it was Shur Save I worked there. I worked in the deli there was a lady there that was so weird and rude with me for no damn reason. She made it awful for me. She bumped me on purpose when I was slicing meat. Very dangerous thing to do. Just didn’t want me working there. I was nothing but nice to her. Dummy me! I hope she’s gone. I wouldn’t want to see anyone else go through that s..t. I can’t remember her name or I’d put it on here. I’d love for her to see it. F..k you lady. Lol. Everyone else was ok. My supervisor was very nice but she did nothing to solve the problem. I am so glad I got out of there. Best thing leaving there.

The customer service is excellent. Mangers are always available and kind. The store employees are very friendly and helpful. They know what and where products are.Today is the 28th this store is getting better, holding it down steady! GREAT JOB TO THE MANAGEMENT and CASHIERS THEY ARE SO SWEET. KEEP IT UP 💯

Very pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the store was. Found lots of Schwebel's Jewish Rye bread, which Giant Eagle is almost always out of. The fresh corn was great, and at 20 cents apiece a great bargain. Found everything else on my list as well.

The store itself is fine. But they could give their cashier's a refresher in dealing with customer's some are pretty rude and ignorant and actually pretty much threw my change to my hand. And i have seen some that are very nice and helpful

Decent local grocery store for quick runs to grab a few things or items missed on your list, but with Aldi nearby you'll want to skip this store is you want a better variety of healthier products at a lower price.Deli guy is always super friendly, pleasant and helpful. 👍Anyone who lives in the area is aware that this store was almost closed and folks are happy and grateful to have the option. In my experience, not much is on sale and prices of many items are significantly more than Aldi, but not as bad as Giant Eagle Market District or, of course, Whole Foods.

The grocery has improved, great meat prices and fresh. Nobfava beans in the bean section. Deli could be fresher. Don't sell old luncheon meat make a salad with it before it spoils or put it on sale before it spoils.

Sadly way over priced for this neighborhood. Cauliflower is $9.99 a pound!! Ridiculous when Aldis, Shop n Save, and Walmart is less than half. Blueberries are double compared to other stores.
