I just have to say a huge THANK YOU to the whole crew at A Diamond In The Ruff for getting my pup in so quickly for her first groom! They always do such a great job with our other dogs, so I knew Bella would be in great hands - and they did not disappoint! The fact that she came home so happy and relaxed just shows how much care and attention they really do put into each animal they see. Could not be happier to have such a great groomer in the South Side!

I couldn't recommend A Diamond in the Ruff any more highly. I spoke with Kathryn on the phone and in the salon and she was extremely friendly and helpful. They got my puppy in for his first grooming appointment really quickly and he had a great time making new friends while getting a great haircut. I'm so happy I found them and Charlie is too!

We recently took out cat and our dog there for the first time after we were less than satisfied with our groomer we used for over 2 years and we DONT REGRET our decision!!! Our beautiful Maizy came out with a beautiful pink tail, happy, smelling delicious, and her fur has never been so soft. We so appreciate all the time they took to make us comfortable. We took our cat Marley in for a “Dino cut” this week and it came out even better than we imagined. 10/10 recommend!!!

My cat had a matting emergency, and when no vets were open and would help, they let me bring my cat in pretty soon before close and as a brand new customer. They were willing to help me out, and very helpful in getting my cat cleaned up, shaved, and back to himself in 20 minutes. They were super gentle even though my cat was being a menace. They even cleaned my carrier before sending him home!

I'm here in Pittsburgh getting my daughter settled in to her new place before grad school starts in a few weeks and my cocker spaniel is in DESPERATE need of a bath. I stopped in and spoke with Kristie (sorry if the spelling is wrong! ), and she was kind enough to make time to take Savannah in last minute while we ran errands all afternoon. When we got back we were rewarded with a super clean, happy, stress-free dog. All of the other dogs I saw in there looked just as chill. They've also got lots of accessories for sale, which is a nice touch. I wish I lived here instead of across the country so that she could continue to be groomed by these wonderful people! Definitely a great groomer if you're in need. Thanks, ladies for a very positive experience!

I have used Diamond In The Ruff for 1 year. The Owner, Chrissy, is not used to having a list for new customers and that became a contention. Although she did multiple good grooms for my dog she did not like my list. There were 2 times that I had to make a complaint and one was yesterday ... we moved and the groom did not hold up since 10-26-23. It is also difficult to be called names and to have my happiness linked to her grooming.These discussions are part of business. It is a difficult balance and my personality should not be part of my dog's grooming outcome.I did send photos which she invited and they have been blocked ! Today, I had to trim around my dog's mouth / eyes as the hair is long after 1 week ...I am open to discussion and taking the high road ... she has our number and should care even though we moved ...

Kathrine at A Diamond in the Ruff obviously loves animals so much and does a fantastic job grooming my pup. Took my cat there and they are the best groomers I have found. They kept her calm (enough.. I mean she is a cat) and was able to get the mats off her without her freaking out. They were gentle and patient. Definetly going back!

I have a shih tzu and she looked amazing after she was groomed here. My dad is very, very picky about how my dog is groomed, and he was extremely pleased with her haircut. He is now obsessed with Diamond In The Ruff. As a result, he will not let me take her anywhere else for a haircut. Based on how well my dog was groomed, I could really tell the groomers are very detail oriented and care about the pups they groom!

Hands down the best groomers ever!! My cocker spaniel can be a handful but they take such good care of him and it means so much to me. His haircut literally makes him look like a show dog, and people stop us all the time to compliment him. The best team with the best care for your dog!

I have been bringing my dog here since it opened. Chrissy and her staff are amazing pet people. They make sure your fur babies are well looked after and groomed beautifully. Are are absolutely wonderful people and this dog spa is great. My Scottish Terrier was groomed to be very handsome and now my Westie looks like a Westie. Worth the trip for me to get a very manicured and groomed puppy to my liking. I am happy but my puppy is happier.

I called beforehand to talk about my dog, and they assured me that they had lots of experience with his breed and that they could take care of him for sure. 10 minutes later they were calling me back and asking me to pick him up because they weren't able to put him on the table.Edit: no I don't have the wrong salon, I have uber pet records of having taking him there.

The groomers are extremely kind and thorough. Our long haired Persian cat needed so much help with matting on her back legs and the groomer did an amazing job. Our Kerry Blue Terrier has been there twice and we've had good experiences each time. They even have a teeth brushing service!! We'll definitely be back!

I've been taking both of my pups to Diamond in the Ruff for over a year and couldn't be happier with their services! Their entire staff is friendly and you can see the love they have for the animals. After every groom, my dogs come out looking beautiful and well taken care of. Not to mention, their pricing is very fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Took my 12-year-old golden retriever Buddy here for the first time on Thursday and had a lovely experience! All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite.I got a full grooming service for my old guy Buddy, plus some extra teeth cleaning, and it all seemed reasonably priced. Buddy was so clean and soft and handsome after he was groomed!We took the last appointment of the day on Thursday at 530 and he was ready around 8. I was initially worried about leaving Buddy there for 3 hours, but he seemed fine afterwards and it gave me plenty of time to use the dreaded vacuum cleaner at home while Buddy was at the groomer!I will definitely be returning in the future, and would recommend this business to others!!

Amazing staff, very professional, friendly and caring. My dog sheds a good bit but after taking him here, he doesn't shed for weeks. He smells so good too. All around they really are the best in the business
