From the moment I spoke with Jeremy, he was kind, professional, and truly caring. My family and I have been going to Jack's Dog Farm for a very long time and have purchased 10+ dogs from there. They are always healthy animals, very well taken care of, provided with essential documents and instructions, and are beyond authentic and honest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Having been a trainer in the field for over a decade, my first visit to Jack's Dog Farm left a lasting impression. As a state-licensed kennel owner myself, I immediately noticed the impeccable cleanliness, with a refreshing scent of cedar in the air and pristine bedding. What truly stood out was the confident and approachable temperament displayed by all the puppies I encountered. It was evident that Jeremy possesses a profound understanding of genetics, as there were no signs of shyness or any health concerns among the pups. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Jack's Dog Farm to any of my clients seeking a stable and healthy companion.

Never buy a dog from these scumbags! They are one of many puppy mills in PA!!! The puppies might look cute, but if you ask to see the parents where they normally live you’ll see the horrors that they’re put through! Look up puppy mills online to get a better idea! They use and abuse the parents for profit! Most, if any, never get to feel grass under their feet ever!!!!

I got two beautiful, healthy dogs from Jack's dog farm. My girl yellow lab is going to be 14 years old, and my shichon is 9 years, definitely not a puppy mill. I would always go to Jack's.

Always careful for the health & welfare of the dogs. Our all-time Best dog ever was from Jack's! He was a yellow labrador, very healthy (no health issues or problems) and he lived to 14.5 Years (longer than my Vet said his yellow lab lived to.) No doubt our Lab would have lived even Longer if we were better about his diet (ie, no people food & no over-eating) and we were both working far from home at the time, so our Lab didn't get as much exercise as he should have. But despite all this, he lived a healthy happy 14.5 years. We've been back at Jack's twice looking at pups and will definitely get another one from there. A family today left with their 4th dog from Jacks.

not sure how this place is still up & running. Purchased 2 from here back in 2004 & 2007…first one (she was a peek a poo) we lost early to cancer..second one (supposed to be a cockachon) needed surgery for claw issues (was also told she was hypoallergenic…SHE SHED LIKE A YAK!) Third dog from here I did not buy, but fell upon off Facebook. One of the owners sold him to a young kid whose parents made him get rid of it within the next day. He is not a purebred shepherd at ALL (definitely mixed with Akita) bottom line you don’t know what the heck you’re getting...maybe if they didn’t tie their dogs up to keep mating them with whatever people would know what they’re getting.

We got our German Sheppard over the summer and he is such a healthy and happy dog! Jack was really personable and friendly and gave us plenty of tips on how to care for him. Will definitely be coming back when we are ready for another dog.

Anyone who has a probably with this place is simply an uneducated animal rights fanatic. Clean, well socialized and healthy puppies. Puppies are all happy and lively- low noise level and low stress environment. These people haven't a clue what a real puppy mill is. #reputablebreeders #geneticsmatter

Have always had a great experience at Jack's Dog Farm. I purchased two dogs from them, one now 11 and the other 4. My son has one as well as my in-laws. They are all healthy and thriving. I stop frequently to see the pups because they make me smile. The cages are always clean and they are well protected by their owners so as not to spread germs. I would take them all if I could!

Grew up in the area of Jacks when I was a kid. This business is in a barn, very old, rustic barn, which is exceptionally clean! Full house and every puppy was happy. Due to Covid, Jack was VERY adamant not to touch the puppies unless I'm interested. The Owner, was very straight forward, no haggling and the puppies always are up to date. To watch the Owner feed, talk and tend his animals was priceless. This is not a breeding facility. Jack is a broker, aka, middleman and does a great job.

We bought a puppy from Jack’s 16 years ago and she was the best dog! Recently, we just got another puppy in October from Jack’s, he too, is a great dog! Vet has commented how healthy the puppy is and in great shape. Jeremy was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped in choosing the right dog for us.

We got our first pup from Jack's 17 years ago and went just got our second pup from them this week. Never a problem, very knowledgeable and informative about all dogs. Thank you so much for our pups. We will be back in the spring for a playmate for Lucky.

When we went to Jack’s dog farm to pick out our puppy, we were happy to return to our home (with a small yard) with our “mini” goldendoodle. However, we soon discovered that our mini doodle was actually a maxi doodle. The place also felt like kind of a dungeon and Jack was not the friendliest. We now love our pup, but we’re not the most satisfied with Jack’s service and are unlikely to return in the future.

We have and own at least 3 dogs we had gotten from Jack's. Speaking from personal experience all the dogs were healthy and the one I no longer have led a healthy life and was a very well adjusted and loving dog. What says a lot is I purchased a dog that had a single sibling in her cage and that dog was waiting to be picked up later that day. Without my asking the owner of Jacks said he was lowering the price for Molly my as he didn't want her to have to spend the weekend alone. Anyone who would put a dogs welfare above money says a lot about the person.

They’ve been here for 93 years. When I mention to someone we got a dog here, invariably he/she knows someone who’s purchased a dog here and how great the pup was. We’ve purchased two dogs and both have been awesome. Healthy and vibrant and friendly. They tend to specialize in purebred or hybrid breeds. They don’t have a huge inventory at any one time (the owner selects dogs from breeders in the area) but their website seems up to date with current inventory.Recommended!

Fantastic experience! Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He asked us not to reach out and let the dogs but that he was happy to take any out for us so we could play with them. Our little Annabelle is an amazing addition to our family. Jeremy left us with great instructions to care for our puppy and welcomed us to call at any time if we had questions!

I bought 2 morkies from them. Romeo whose birthday 1/17/15 and Juliette whose birthday is 1/15/17. Owner was very informative both times. He is very protective of the animals and he should be. Some people are taking back by him but they shouldn't be. We love our dogs and always had a good experience there.

EVERYBODY is anti-"puppy mill." There is nothing wrong with the way this place does business and handles the K9s ... reading the reviews, it's somewhat absurd to me that people give one-star rating because they weren't greeted to their liking or because they weren't allowed to treat the dogs like toys ... Cages are large - there's only about 7 - 10 dogs there at any given time; it's clean, no bad odors, dogs are healthy. We purchased a Boston Terrier puppy ($1,400) who is healthy an adorable. The owner spent a LONG time with us talking about the dog's history - he knew the family from whence it came. We appreciate that he doesn't let people just walk in and touch the dogs - it keeps them healthy; in fact, when my 20 YO son inquired about the dog, absent my wife's presence, the owner was somewhat protective of the dog and wasn't going to allow him access to her until he realized the context and loosened-up. It's my perception that he gets a lot of tire-kickers and doesn't want to just let his animals be handled absent being assured that buyers are serious. It's a very hard position to be in, but he has to protect the animals - I respect and appreciate that.

Got my puppy here and she was trained in 8 weeks just like the guy said she would be. Super nice guy and very very helpful. I was there for over an hour talking to him about my puppies breed and he knew his stuff. She is now 7 months and the best dog I've ever had! I highly recommend jacks! I also know other people who have gotten dogs from here and they've had a great experience as well.

BUYER BEWARE. THIS IS A DIRTY PUPPY MILL! PLEASE don't shop here. They do NOT breed for health. They breed puppies here on a mass scale and they are treated like disposable products and not family members. We bought our golden retriever here back in 2007 (not a decision I would've made). There were several breeds and litters to choose from (which is a huge red flag in itself), and all neglected in bare cages in a poorly lit room. No toys, no outside time...Jack was extremely unfriendly also and acted like we were a burden just for being there. Our new puppy had fleas and was immediately told by our vet how bad his hips and joints were. Obviously very poorly bred. My dog is now 10 years old, is a sweetheart and I'm so thankful he's made it this far but he doesn't walk right, never has, and can now barely get up off the floor. His quality of life would be so much better if he was bred right and it just doesn't seem fair. I agree with other reviews: shut this place down!!!

Jeremy was EXTREMELY helpful. I was torn between which puppy we wanted. They were all so adorable. He was very patient with me and let me spend time with my 2 choices, all while educating me on the 2 breeds. We just got our baby boy Maximus (German Shepherd) 2 weeks ago. He is the sweetest puppy. So loving and very easy to train. He came with papers and all. I was impressed. I highly recommend Jack's Dog Farm. I came all the way from Philadelphia where you go to the SPCA and ACCT and really can only adopt a pitbull that you have no knowledge on where they've been or what they've been through. My children love our new addition to our family and when we are ready to bring another baby home we will definitely return to Jack's!

DO NOT buy dogs from this place. My grandparents just had to put their dog of 18 years down and decided to get a new puppy. They got a jack Russell mix, about 3 months old when we got him. He was sucha good puppy everyone fell so much in love with him, you couldn’t not love him. The last week Carson got really sick, he was in the animal hospital the last 3 days.. long story short these people breed brother and sister dogs and Carson was the baby of one of them. Today we had to put Carson down because of how sick he was. This place is disgusting and they should be shut down immediately.

We bought our dog Lola in 2009. She is a flat haired golden doodle. We were told she would be 55 lbs and she is now 82lbs! She is healthy, friendly and the kindest dog ever. Her temperament is fabulous. She's great with children and other dogs and is everyone's favorite. As for the conditions of the "farm", they could have been better. The cages seemed clean but I don't think the puppies were treated tenderly...more like a commodity. We were also told not to bathe her for 2 weeks but she smelled so terribly we had no choice. We bathed her as soon as we got home and her coat lightened up about 4 shades!! She's was filthy and smelled like a dirty, poopy barn!!Today, she is 7 years old and she is truly a loving member of our family. We wouldn't trade her for the world!!!🐶

I have bought 2 dogs from them. One lived 17 years she was a Border and shelte mix and I currently is 19 and still very healthy. He is a peekapoo. They both never had any health problems. My mom also has a dog from there and he is about 17 too. They have been in business for many many years. I would not hesitate to get another dog from them.
