I come from Sacramento in triview area. BGs is one of my favorites as I have many food allergies and intolerances. No dairy, nightshades, grains, gluten, inflammatory foods. So I eat a lot of chickpea flour products, oat, tapioca, and sweet flours and liquids. BGs has many gluten free options for me and my wife. Meats are always quality and good priced. Keep up the great job. Hopefully banza is something you will stock soon.

Love this store! The only grocery store in Pine Grove with decent prices (to me anyway)! I can get diapers and wipes for the baby, stuff for dinner, and tobacco and tubes for my cigarettes all in one convienient little store close to my job or home! Defenitely the best prices in the area so ill keep shopping here!!Posted pictures of the Pepsi prices and Coke.

I love this store, been going here for years, but today the customer service wasnt there. I asked the man at the deli if they had anymore tea in the back, considering I do buy alot as I moved out of state. The man said “I dont have an answer to that” then just turned away. So I go to the check out, and the kid who rang my order out asked “Wouldnt you rather go to costco, they sell it there too”. Well considering Im here to visit my family and we dont live near the costco, no I rather not. You are suggesting to customers to go to a different store, then next time I probably will. Think I will start going to boyers instead, smh

BG's is a friendly little store. The employee's go above and beyond for their customers, honestly.. I wanted my cans of Starbucks HAZELNUT doubleshot energy drinks.. they asked, how many cases? I was thrilled they actually did that for me.. I asked Boyer's to do that for me in Pine Grove.. "Harley" said he would.. but never heard anything back, they get the other flavors though.. oh well.. BG's got them for me! Plus by buying in bulk like that, they also give a slight discount, which is very nice! Thanks BG's!The staff is also very friendly.. the younger gentlemen at the register always have a good little conversation with me.. even when my kid's are driving us nuts at checkout.. and the managers are also very helpfulGood job everyone!

Stopped here to pick up a few grocery odds and ends. Had everything that we needed. Employees were really friendly. Store while small, was well-laid out. Was able to get a great assortment of very fresh fruit which was a win. Only complaint was that items were a little overpriced. Otherwise, would definitely come again.

Great little small town store!! I've been shopping here for a very long time, and the store size isn't very big, but as you walk into the building you are completely seeing something different!! This store has a hugh selection of products and the staff is always helpful, and polite. As we have all experienced things we want/need missing from the shelf during this man made pandemic, and have had to sacrifice just a little. This store has been doing everything they can to keep its customers happy, and trying to stayed stocked up.

This store was very helpful in a tight pinch! We were staying overnight and wanted to get some quick groceries to make a meal at an Airbnb that we had rented not far away. Luckily, they had everything we needed to make a quick gourmet meal in a treehouse! The staff was helpful, the prices were fair, and the lighting was adequate! Lighting is rather important whenever you're going Grocery shopping, However, remembering to keep yourself within your budget at this place might be difficult because of all the tantalizing items they offer. Be sure to loosen the purse strings and come on down to BG's value market!

I love shopping here.. the kid's are always so helpful and so are the managers ... now there was a girl doing the first register today,. I never had her before but she wasn't the greatest. She bagged way too many items in one bag and with having the baby's... it was a nightmare carrying these bags in... if I had 25 bags of groceries,. At least 10 of them busted on the way in.. and I didn't try carrying 10 bags in at once because I knew they weren't packed right .. so maybe she just needs some more training.. it did seem like she didn't love her job and she didn't want to be there.. she kept asking people if they wanted this in a bag or that in a bag . . Like weird things.. a carton of orange juice she asked the one girl if she wanted bagged... the girl looked puzzled but said she guesses not.. I knew she did.. and why wouldn't she.. she had a giant order and this girl was asking about bagging or not bagging almost every other thing. I felt angry for that girl.. and she also had a 2 year old or so along.. common sense would definitely tell u to bag those groceries esp for a woman with an infant or toddler ..The boys who work there are 98 percent of the time totally friendly and polite.. very quick to help..Manager there actually helps people out to their cars with their carts and he really goes above and beyond for the customers.. so does the other lady who might be a manager or asst manager .. she's always kind and helpful.. and she knows exactly where everything is and is very quick to help ♡♡I love this store ..Oh and I AM SO HAPPY THEY HAVE THE GARLIC AND HERB BUTTER BACK AT THE MEAT DEPARTMENT FOR SALE.. IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! RED LION USES THIS butter to grill burger buns.. make garlic bread etc.. I called a few times to find out how much they would charge to sell a container maybe once a week or so and they acted like I was asking for free gold and diamonds lol.. but now I have a place to get it and I'm thrilled..Thanks so much ♡♡

The employees are always kind and willing to help. The management is fantastic, great prices. It is neatly organized and always kept in stock. If I could not find what I was looking for, the employees were able to suggest an alternative. Fire this I am grateful. The lines are never long. I have no complaints. Oh, it's also a nice walk from home, so I can get s breath of fresh air if I feel like walking.

Where I do ALL my grocery shopping! And if you find that they don't have something you're looking for all you have to do is talk to the manager and 9 times outta 10 he will get it ordered for you and have it at the store within a week !

Always pleasant staff compared to other local grocers..I think they have the best meat selection in town but their produce is rarely ripe enough to eat. Their bakery options have always been lack luster but their pre-ordered birthday cakes have never disappointed. I do also find it rather cramped and overwhelmed at times to navigate. Their pricing could be a little more competitive over all but still the best option in town.

Nice little hometown market. The staff is extremely helpful and very courteous. They usually have what you are looking for but the need to expand to fit in more things. The prices are a little high, but it's better than running another 15 miles to the big chain stores.

Visiting Pine Grove, a pretty town. I liked this store; opens early at 7:00 a.m. There were some very good sales, such as in the produce area. Given location and size of store, a good variety of items including things like almond milk, flax meal, etc., and traditional PA items such as Martin's Potato Buns and Tastycakes (another good sale today.) If one is buying processed packaged food, those prices (at least to me) seemed high as compared to a Walmart store.

We stopped in on our way to a relative..store was Covid clean..we found a lot of good deals and was able to find a certain brand ham that we haven't been able to get in my store area..everyone was helpful and very courteous..the manager was also great!! I would recommend shopping there again!

I drive a truck so I drove from the pilot to hear about 4 MI from the truck stop.. just one of those little hometown grocery stores look forward to trying the honey ham deli meat.

Hands down the most helpful supermarket I've had the pleasure of frequenting great staff fantastic sales and again can't say enough about the staff!update they are still outstanding there isn't a lot of places you can walk into 15 minutes before closing and get a warm reception instead of a dirty look

I like BG's, it's a very family friendly small town grocery store . It's convenient & may be a little high in their prices but compared to Saint Clair Walmart it's completely worth it.
