SKETCHY. Very sketchy. Cockroaches in the rooms and not clean. Seriously, this is a filthy, outdated motel. I had booked two nights and barely made it through the first night. When I complained at the office the next day, the manager *pretended* to issue a refund through the credit card, but it never appeared. They also refused to provide a printed receipt. AVOID.Rooms: Avoid!!!! Smelled like smoke. Cigarette burns in bedspread. No blankets. Bathroom was dirty and cockroaches were crawling out of the ventilation shaft. Dimly lit rooms and very dated.

Our room was relatively clean compared to other motels, but the front desk lady seems to be under the influence.At night, we saw another guy looking disoriented. There were almost no other guest staying in the motel. Avoid this place.

The service was amazing. Angel was so sweet and is so willing to help no matter what. They are in the process of renovations and trying to get everything updated. Yes it's an old building but it's a part of Philipsburg history. My room was in good condition and everything was clean and well put. I thank them for everything they are doing since the last person who managed it didn't have the best interest for the hotel and angel and all that work there now do. Keep up the hard work.

Staff is very friendly but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. My room smelled musty, the sink had old toothpaste in it, only one bed had sheets on it and one bed wouldn't stay in the frame and the box spring kept falling to the floor on one side. TV was huge and had a great selection. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros of great staff and great tv.

Cockroaches all over the place I was sleeping and I killed about 2 of them crawling on my neck and face then woke up used the restroom there was one in the bathtub then I investigated looked under the bed a whole infestation I usually don’t complain but this is disgusting rooms smelled gross dead flys on the bed roaches everywhere I asked for a refund and got the run around and said I got to talk to the owner yeah good luck with that I will be making a few calls to some enforcement now I got roaches in my luggage and sick from mold

I thought this place was an alright place to stay but they use personal feelings to keep people from staying there who have they money to do so. Apparently they can't be professional. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. I'm much younger than the woman who runs it and I can be more mature than she is. Location is great, rooms are great but the service sucks.

The glass in each entry way looks like it's been kicked in,the hallways smell like smoke despite the gagging air freshener. The parking lot is atrocious! Pot holes everywhere. There were holes in the sheets and blankets. The place needs SERIOUS updates!!!!! Their continental breakfast was an absolute JOKE! A few mini beagles ,some mini muffins? Really? This place is way over priced. It looks like a shady place that a horror movie would be filmed in. The lobby closes at 11 but the nice lady DID wait 6 minutes for us because we just needed to sleep and my husband explained our situation an hour ahead of time as we were traveling. I do appreciate that.

Short verison: They close the front desk, without telling you, but still charge you, even though you cannot check in.I would LOVE to describe my stay... but I cannot, because after booking (and prepaying) to stay there, I arrived at 9:08pm. At any other hotel/motel that would not be an issue, but here they close the front desk at 8:30.... and don't tell you. How do you find out? Well when you arrive after 8:30pm and see the sign they put up, telling you that the front desk is closed. Calling the front desk, just lets you leave a message.... that (as of now, 3 days later) they do not return.So, they are just taking people's money, without providing services.steer clear of this place.

I do not recommend this place. The desk rarley has staff at it. In addition they hand figure your bill leading to errors. Our room appeared clean but wasn't. The whole building smells horrible especially the rooms. Our pillows were old and flat, our sheets looked dingy and worn. The toilet didn't work, I had to fix it. The shower curtain had black mold growing on the bottom. All the side doors to get in were busted on the bottom. Plus the staff talked about having to kick druggys out all the time. I suggest you stay somewhere else.

We decided to reserve the banquet room for our work Christmas party. We were told we could have the banquet room for 6 hours; however, when the time came, hotel staff said we only reserved the room for 4 hours. When I explained to the lady at the front desk that we had been told we could have the room for 6 hours, she shrugged and said, "if that's what you were told. " I proceed to tell my co-workers we don't have to leave, only to find out that shortly after, a disgruntled male employee shut the party down.****That wasn't even the worst part*****This employee proceeded to ask random people in the parking lot who owned a specific car, and then proceeded to threaten/harass the individual who owned the vehicle.The individual who owned the vehicle was sitting in there when he was approached and asked who the f*** he was, by this employee. The employee went on to say that he was getting strange text messages from the parking lot and that he was doing a parameter check. He then tried to pull a knife on the guy in the car, and also tried to open his vehicle door. When we found out about this, we were very concerned about our safety and the sanity of the front desk attendant, the same one that closed our party down. Fast forward to the police coming and not finding him... The hotel room was what I expected for a one star hotel. I told the front desk lady about it and she didn't seem very surprised ad she replied he was probably in his room upstairs.

This place is a dump. My first room had a hole in the wall where the shower head should have been It also had a stained and torn lamp shade and was missing a headboard for the bed. When I was moved to a new room, it was an improvement, but the carpet was worn and looked dirty, and there was a faint smell of perhaps mildew. A buddy of mine stopped by to look at the room. He worked at the Harbor Inn from 1971-1975, the glory days of the Harbor Inn. He said the bedspreads and decor were the same. Very sad. This place needs a new owner to show it some love.Oh the continental breakfast. I went to the lobby at 9:00am and nothing was put out. I asked if I was too late for breakfast, which was not to end until 9:30 or 10:00. The woman told me no one else had been in for breakfast so she put it out for me. It consisted of whole milk, two containers of cereal, some mini bagels and some bread. This must of been from a poor continent.

Rooms are dated and dirty. Looks like they haven't been vacuumed for the last ten guests. Still uses a old single cut key for room doors. Small paper tag on key. Should update to more modern card lock system. Refrigerator whines. Most people won't notice it and you probably won't be able to tell where the noise is coming from until it shuts off. There is two wall mounted lights between the beds. Switch was broken on 1 light. Bathroom spring wound timer switch for heat lamp wouldn't automatically shut off. I had to turn it back by hand. One bed was soft. Luckily the other bed was firm. I slept on the firm one. The room heater fan was always on. The auto fan control didn't cycle the fan on and off.

I've stayed here a couple times and overall had a fine experience. We have no complaints with the room, its standard for a cheap hotel. The bed isnt the most comfortable but not unbearable for one night. My first time here the staff was very unfriendly, I was hoping this time would be different. Checking into the hotel last night was very pleasant, the woman at the desk was friendly and we had enjoyable small talk while my room was being finished. However this morning upon checking out the woman at the desk, or should I say not at the desk, was very rude. There was no bell on the desk so I waited for 15 minutes with my key to check out. She finally decided to stroll out from a back room and call me a liar when when I said I had been waiting so long. A simple apology would've been great.

VERY UNSATISFIED, DO NOT STAY HERE.This place is terribly DISGUSTING. Someone needs to bring this down. The only reason I stayed at this place was because I had to be in town for an important meeting and did not want to be late since it was my first time in Philipsburg, PA. To start off, front desk staff was ok, they did not do anything extra nor anything less to accommodate me. Secondly, the room was not so bad, no complaints there, except the fact that it is a scary place and it creeped me out throughout the night. The next morning as I was getting my things out of the room to take it to the car, there is a housekeeper with brunette hair and she was TERRIBLE. She tells me to go back to the room because I left trash and that I need to pick it up!!! She starts complaining about how much trash there was and how I need to go back and clean it. I walked out and let her talk. I wish I would've gotten her name because people like her do not deserve a job. I will never be back to that smelly small place. There was NOTHING for breakfast.

If i could id give them no stars. I stayed there for a few days with my family and never once brought towels, paper toilet nor soap. We came back home with BED BUG BITES!! We started looking at the bed and we found 2 big fat ones... And there was dog food on the floor and in our NONSMOKING room it smelled like ciggarrets. The way the bathroom toilet was peeled and the tub looked dirty from the bottom. When we told the lady about the bed bugs she got mad and started giving us attitude. The fridge leaked onto the carpet where i had my clothes by and my clothes were all wet. ALSO. In the bathroom cabinet there was still other peoples belongings like toothebrushes and razors. I wouldnt reccomend staying here at all

It was very dirty. Cobwebs in corners of room. Floor never swept under bed. Blood on box springs. Extention cords with lamp and mini frig plugged in. Fire hazard. 4 people 2 towels. Had to get more. Garbage container overflowing. As for the breakfast I am glad there was a Sheetz. The person who checked me in was very nice. Would I stay there again I think not. It should no receive a star 2.

I booked a party in the banquet room. Room was deplorable. Mold growing on windows, outlets were a fire hazard, lights plugged into them flashed, etc. Old food smeared on tables, stains in table cloths, chairs, carpet, etc. Emptied 3 cans of Febreeze in the room and still didn't begin to mask smoke smell. Bathrooms were beyond disgusting - my guests used the bathrooms at the neighboring Sheetz in the pouring rain because of their condition. Staff is rude and avoids customers so they don't have to get off of their chairs. Staff did have their dog eating off of the public dining table with them in the lobby. I reported my experience to both the Better Business Bureau and PA State Department of Health.

When I Checked in.. room was clean. Great size. Love the weekly rate and even the monthly rate. Angel and Grace were great when we checked and the maintenance guys are nice and friendly and would recommend harbor in..

Only one working light in the room, and it sounded like water was dripping in the wall. I slept maybe 4 hours because of the noise. When I mentioned it to hotel staff I was given excuses and wasn't even offered a discount. The was no breakfast either. Tempted to dispute there charges with my bank.

This place is ridiculous! I called this am to book a few rooms for a traveling family of 12. I called from my home and their phone rang and rang. When someone did pick up they sat there on the line while I said Hello several times and they said nothing. I called back 3 more times and they just picked up the phone and hung up each time! Im glad I found these reviews on here because they are terrible and this place is clearly a run down roach motel that doesnt take care of its own place! We will stay in the next town over (Clearfield) at a more reputable place!

I made reservations to this motel recently, and arrived from a long drive from another state. It was 9:30 p.m. The door was locked, and I was unable to stay at that motel. I had to find another motel last minute, and it cost me an extra $10.00. Very unhappy. I went by the next morning, and the clerk at the motel told me the reservations were there at the front desk. She showed them to me. I would never recommend this motel to anyone. I was the second one that night with this experience. Very unprofessional!

Please avoid this place! It’s cheap for a reason. The room is filthy, strong smell of cigarette in and out of room. Disgusting bathroom. Better not to take a shower for one day. No smoke detector.
