Clean, well maintained, and a perfect place to relax. There are picnic tables, grills, and even wood is provided when available. Great place to bring the entire family, and it has an amazing playground for the kids. There are rest room facilities on site that are open and maintainef year around. The grounds are kept spotless and the grass is cut on a regular basis. The dam is not deep, but there is no public swimming allowed. Fishing is permitted and the waters are stocked by PA Fish and Game. Food is available right across the street as three are two venues available: a restaurant and an ice cream stand. Parking is free and there are trails that meander around the park and areas for hiking or just getting out. It's one of my favorites!

Stopped here with our toddler on the way home from NJ. This is such a nice park and my kid had a blast! Well maintained, clean restrooms and nice picnic table areas. Wish we lived closer we would definitely come back!

I love hiking around cold stream, the one and only negative is that one side of the reservoir can sometimes get really wet and muddy. If that issue can one day be resolved this would definitely be worth five starsUpdate: the issue with one side being muddy seems to have been resolved. Now a 5 star park

Great place to stop for some fun and relaxation. Beautiful views, well maintained playground and pavilions. Great hiking trail. Also part of a fun, local multi-stop geocaching puzzle.

We were in search of a place for a pic nic and like to be near water. We stopped here because the view of the dam IS nice, and they have some picnic table in little gazebos and clean bathrooms. It was a Sunday so there weren't too many people around. We ended up eating under a tree just off the parking lot where we could hear the water babbling. We will be bringing our grandchildren to play at the playground across the creek from the bathrooms when they get old enough.

This is a very pretty park. A great place to bring the kids, have a picnic, or just sit in the shade under a tree enjoying the sounds of the river gently flowing over the rocks below the dam. Philipsburg did a good job renovating this park.

Love this new park! Fence next to the road so you dont have to worry about kids going out onto road. Lot of different things for kids to do. See-Saws, swings, 7 different slides, a sand digger, and pavillions. Fishing is allowed. Also there are bathrooms across the bridge. To top it all off when your done you can walk across the street and get ice cream!!

Just a random stop for a picnic lunch on our way home from a road trip. It totally changed the vibe of what would have been a day of driving. Kids on the playground, folks fishing, the gurgling stream -- so relaxing. Oh, and CLEAN restrooms!

Freshly open for kayaking, we had a great time enjoying the renovated and updated water area! While there is no longer swimming permitted, it is an excellent place for beginner kayakers. Nice flat water with plenty of lilly pads and other vegetation to explore while out paddling around. The water is so clear, you can see the bottom and the water life! This is a stocked lake, so there are trout! We also saw plenty of blue gill swimming around. A muskrat even made an appearance at our last visit.

Cold Stream Dam and Recreation Park are located in Philipsburg Pennsylvania. It's your typical recreation park that offers fishing, a playground for the kids, picnic areas, and walking trails. One of the main attractions at the park is the man-made dam that was constructed back in the late 1800s.

I love coming here. The scenery is beautiful, there's a park for the kids, a stage for events, pavilions you can rent, fishing, restrooms, and trails you can walk that take you around the park. Pets are also allowed. It's airways clean and some of the pavilions have a grill you can cook on.

Driving from Erie to Philadelphia, awesome place to stop and break up the trip.Playground for the kids, bathrooms and lots of space. Beautiful. Fishing>Stocked trout pond and apparently a cold water stream fills it, who knows maybe some holdover fish. I fished for an hour and caught a 16in bass on frog lure in the lilies. Probably hard novice fishing outside of trout stocking.

Cold Srream is a nice place that has a playground for kids. It's well kept up with. The waterfalls is beautiful and there is a couple benches to sit in front of it. Nice area for a birthday party or get togethers.Restrooms: The bathrooms were presentable.

Small yet beautiful park with plenty of parking, a great playground for the kids and a nice path to walk around the water. Great spot for fishing and even has a little pavillion and picnic tables.

Very scenic area with a full walkway that surrounds the trout stocked lake. Clean restrooms on site and I loved the way the park supplies cut wood for anyone that wants to use the hearth for cooking.
