Absolutely love shopping at my local ShopRite, store is always clean, I know where everything is. Cashier's are great and helpful, the ONLY issue that I came across tonight was that the bathroom was disgusting, toilets weren't flushed or cleaned, toilet paper all over the floor, soap dispenser was empty and trash overflowing. I'm hoping that it was just busy and they just couldn't keep up with the bathroom. But other than that Great Experience! I definitely recommend this ShopRite and I definitely will be shopping there again

Went back and downgraded my original 5 star review of this ShopRite. My favourite part of this store was the Zallie’s Bakery. But this most recent experience is the third time I purchased a crappy cake. Either stale, or inconsistent frosting. Zallie’s signature “white/vanilla” frosting is fabulous. Then there is the cheap super sweet economy tub of frosting ShopRite has which is awful. I never know what I’m going to get and neither do the staff. One is worth it and the other definitely is not.Self checkout is also a pain here. The “ system” is set up to constantly think your shoplifting. So you can’t scan your items without the system stopping you, cashier being alerted, then they have to review the video. It happens at least once every time, usually several times while just trying to pay and checkout. It’s just a hassle! Disappointed.

ShopRite was super crowded as usual. I am used to that by now. I like going on Tuesday because we get the senior discount cause of my mom which takes at least six dollars off my bill. We purchased some of their delicious seafood, stuffed Talpia which was stuffed with crab meat and easy to cook. Their bakery is one of the best around. In my opinion so is there meat and their prices.

Very disappointed in the changes in this store. It is to the point that I do not plan to step foot in this Shoprite at Knorr street again. I was there just a few days ago to pick up a few things. I stopped for a moment between a cart display with valentines sale items and the case near the front door. I was trying to help a customer regarding the price plus card and that sale that in which an employee did not give her the proper information. An employee from the bakery carrying a cake with a customer behind her came up behind me and rudely raised her voice saying "EXCUSE ME!!". I was taken back. I was by then actually helping a customer showing her how to use the screen for digital coupons and then taking her up to the customer service desk to have someone fix her price plus card to take her phone number when she got to the register or to use the screen for digital coupons. I spent around 15 minutes with the customer which she greatly appreciated. The same trip I mentioned to an employee that was at the door with circulars about pricing on the tuna with digital coupon notice on the isle where the tuna is, and not being documents on the big display across from the chicken. All she did was shrug her shoulders. No clue what to do.I have made multiple complaints about quality of products, lack of registers, mismarked products, the list goes on. It all seems to fall on deaf ears!. I have been going to this store for almost 40 years and am disgusted. Customer service has been forgotten. They have a multitude of self check out lanes and usually one or two regular checkouts. They took away the regular lane for less that 15 products claiming that is what the self checkout is for. Not everyone appreciates self check out.Bowl and Basket is overtaking all of my favorite brands. I saw how around Christmas, the prices on everything went up with no sales on regular products. Bowl and basket prices were at a level that other products used to be. I have tried some of the products and they are not that good and inconsistent.Sales offers have been changed. The old can can sales are gone. A perfect example is tuna. When the had the can can sale on tuna about a month or so ago, with the digital coupon it was limited to Wednesday to Sat, cutting out the senior citizens who shop on Tuesday. They had the normal offer of limit of 4 offers, but you had to buy all 4 offers at once. You could not come multiple times to use your offer over the week. The current sale this week was limited to 10 cans only. They have not been consistent. No one sees these things. Even with the employees, a lot of the employees I had seen at the registers for years have not been around. I don't know if they have changed their shifts or have just let them go. I think this store knows they have a captive audience in this area with so few large supermarkets and seniors from the area. I just don't know what to say. I think you really need to take a harder look and do a shop on your own in the manner your customers would. See how hard it is to find your favorites and figure out the best prices.

Waited in line over 25 minutes trying to check out . The first cashier was helping someone do a delivery to home (while the customer walked away , another employee came over to talk about the customer to the cashier). While also waiting our turn to pay, It seemed cashiers then had to change shifts on top of us already waiting, we were never acknowledged ,instead the first cashier gave us stares as if we were bothering her , then the second cashier had no urgency to get us out of the line . She was talking to other employees, rang up some items then walked away again for a third time. Customer service on allowing us to pay and get us out of the line in a timely matter is very much to be desired.

Store is pretty good, nice set up. However, the delivery sucks!!! Why ask me when is the earliest to deliver but don’t come for 2-3 hours.

When did it become ok for employees to walk up and hug or touch random people? It is a super market? And why do they still have Nicole Esler working there? She tells anyone and everyone about her unsanitary house with the bed bugs, roaches and miceManagement is slipping majorly. My son had the lid from the diaper changed hit his head

Very well organized and stacked produce area, pictures do the talking, friendly staff and like always is a great place to find all the stuff you need in one single place.I was visiting the area and this shoprite was the closest to me.Once u enter the 1st thing u come across is the bakery on your right and hot meals on your left followed by the produce dept. The area is not the best of philly but is passable.

This is the second time I bought rotisserie chicken from Shoprite and it was raw and full of blood. I feel bad about that. Note that I told them several months ago, but for a long time the errors have been present. I have two rotisserie chickens and I must throw them away now.

No sign for deliveries or driver check in for big trucks anywhere. HORRIBLE place to deliver, everybody is ignorant tell you to wait somebody will be with you but nobody comes. WASTE YOUR TIME. Then they give you attitude, oh you should know! to go to the back across the whole store. Beware! you will have to do u turn and there cars parked on the street and shoprite trailers in the way.

This ShopRite is dirty, with ignorant self checkout assistants, and useless managers. Also working at the customer service register must come with rudeness. Never going back here again.

I'm really picky when it comes to produce: it has to be fresh AND ripe for me to trade my money for it. I was able to find actual food in the produce department. There were even some reasonably priced organic apples to be had. Good job guys.

Aisles are sort of confusing but once you get the hang of it they always have whats needed. No carts enter the parking lot which causes mass confusion with cars attempting to get their cartfuls of food into their cars in a timely manor. Overall staff is helpful and polite. Good sales. Also has delivery

The second most visited facility, I shop at besides aramingo and castor. Also clean and well stocked. Staff are willing to assist per usual. Not as large, but the goods are there. Be mindful of the parking lot. Some people drive a bit to fast, especially when others are walking.

It's small, can't take the carts to the parking lot and the front of the store is always jammed up with people, carts, and people smoking cigarettes in a tiny space. But I go here anyway cause it's local and they have most of what I need. Staff is always nice and helpful. They don't carry as much as some other grocery stores but it has enough

The best shopping experience I had at any Shoprite in the tri-state area. The store is small yet fully stocked. Their produce section was well kept and housed nothing but fresh veggies and other produce.

The absolute worst ShopRite in Philly. Small, cramped, junky and dirty. It's horrible and to top it off employees are bothered when you ask for help they point and expect you to know where they're talking about. Rude and ignorant. They all need new jobs. Oh did I mention their shelves are bare? How do you not carry hunts ketchup? How do you not carry bowl and basket mustard? Why are your prices higher than other ShopRites in the area? Why can you not bring the groceries you just bought to your car? Why do you not offer variety across the board? This is an elderly haven where at least once every trip I get hit by a cart from behind by the old folks. Hopefully they're only driving shopping carts and not vehicles. This place is disgusting from staff to customers to cleanliness to variety.

I've been going here 2 months so far and I had nothing but bad experiences when I ask the employees to help me they act like it's a problem to help a customer. I found the employees to be very ignorant in the store. They also act like you can't Question a price on the shelf if you feel it is wrong. Plus I think they are charging way too much on the soda tax. I did talk to the manager the manager was not much help at all. Basically the manager act like I was lying

I have been shopping here since I was a child for about 20 years.. I don’t know who these new workers are but I am highly upset and will not be shopping here anymore. I just left this ShopRite after leaving the hospital with my sick child so I came in there with a scarf and feel like I was just racially profiled!! I came to get ingredients to make my son some homemade soup since he is sick while I was checking out in the self checkout everyone was white and I was the only black person while I ringing up my things this older white lady with the glasses approached me and said “are those your bags or the stores” I said “the stores” she said you know you have to pay for them.. I instantly was thinking ( you came all the way over here and singled me out wow) mind you I’m in this marked about 5 days out the week so I already know. I ringed another item up and it came up a different price so the helpful younger white worker offered to go check the price so now I’m waiting for her to come the Rude white worker comes over with the store bags and starts counting them “ I said you need to relax nobody is trying to steal bags I am waiting for the worker to come and give me a price check” she switched her whole approach when I said that and was stern..I am extremely disappointed when I come in here to shop after work with my nursing scrubs I don’t get treated like that but the second I came in here with a scarf because I been at the hospital with my sick child I get racially profiled…And today was my birthday and this just ruined it… Please get better workers that treats every customer with respect! And as I am scrolling through the reviews there is another review that says they racially profiled another black woman smh do better.

Selection is small, customer service is subpar and the level of overt racial profiling is astounding. I’ve complained to security and management about how the staff at self checkout racial profile people of color and women with children. Someone should inform their ignorant staff that every black persona don’t steal. I watch them watch me like a hawk while an older while gentlemen stole from the corner. Security came out, informed the employee he was stealing, the employee admitted he knows the guy steals, yet he still was facing and watching me after I had already checked out. They should take a page from Starbucks’ book and mandate their staff take sensitivity training. It’s shameful.

Mary in customer service could care less to help with issues. The manager then came out and instead of helping with the problem, he answered rudely and incorrectly about the issue so that he continue arguing with another employee. The white guy in the self check out near the frozen food section racial profiles hard! He went up to a Black couples cart and grabbed their fries and oil and loudly asked if they forgot to pay for this smh. They also watch people with kids/car seats very hard. I will NEVER step foot in this store again because it’s also not the cleanest and too cluttered. I will continue driving down to the Tulip st location where they don’t racial profile and the store is not so small, clustered, junky, and dirty.

They pack a lot in here, but that is the problem: it is crowded all the time because it is narrow. As long as you don't go a peak times it is ok. Just be prepared to wait for people blocking aisles.
