On Thursday, I ordered a football field viking cake. On Saturday, Nov 4. I received a totally different cake than what I requested. The first issue I had when I walked to pick up my cake in bakery, you have 6 employees, their not one acknowledged me. I waited 10 min before anyone even asked me what I needed. When I saw the cake I told them this isn't what I requested. I explained to them what I requested and who took my order the responds I received were that she's a new employee, so that why. I asked if we could fix this, not what I wanted. One young lady specifically was like no. I stated that the viking is an edible paper. we can remove it and add the football field, which is also an edible paper, and put the viking on top. She said no. I have no choice but to take the cake as is cause my son birthday was today. I went to customer service and requested to speak to customer service. The manager Cristina came and I explained to her my concern. She was like they could have added the football field." I explained to her what I told the young lady her responded was next time come back to me. I told her I wouldn't order another cake from your store. I will keep buying them from Walmart instead. I should have received a refund, but nope. The picture of the field what I requested vs what I received.

Fantastic ShopRite, better than the one on Bridge & Harbison. Looks small, but is huge inside. Great meat dept. Also has 12 self-checkout lanes. Downside is the small parking lot and small entrance/exit door (see pic).

This company leaves unsolicited garbage (coupons in a plastic bag today) on my doorstep. I have a "no circulars sticker" on my door and they don't seem to care. I have reported them to the city and hopefully they will be fined. Time to join the 21st century and learn to advertise online. This negative review is step one. Keep disregarding my posted sticker and see what step two is.* * * update * * *LOL, love the corporate auto-reply. Shows how much you really care. 👍

I got 2 number 5 cupcakes from here for 2 different days so when we picked up the first one everything looked fine until the kids started eating it and said it tasted like dye so I went back and asked if I can change the second order I didn’t want a refund for the first one just wanted a different cake that didn’t involve a lot of dye when I went to pick up the cake it looked a messed like it was just put together and the cake wasn’t even good

Asked the butcher for literally 2 stakes this guy is standing around waiting for 30 minutes literally rather pay extra and go to Whole Foods next time this is ridiculous. *update butcher told me come back later because he has a lot more to cut up after a half hour. * another update waited another 10 minutes for the manager Christina to help. Absolutely no help at all either I’ve been shopping here for over 10 years worst experience ever. Place is going to trash. Seems like they just hire anybody at this point. It does not take 40 minutes to cut 2 ribeyes. This just absolutely crazy.

Has been a great supermarket since they've been there. The meats are so fresh and they have such a variety of anything you can think of. The bakery has fresh made donuts everyday, and the store is a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. There's always a miserable employee or two at any workplace, which I myself have been at some point, so no points taken off for a bad day. 😊

we asked your butcher for fresh cut filet mignon, and we were told you get what I give you what’s in the package in the shelf! I don’t cut meat for anybody !!!!! why do you have a meat cutter at all if they’re going to speak to a customer like that that is a disgrace!!! i’m disappointed and disgusted with the way you treated me

I want to thank the bakery for making the most beautiful cake for my daughter’s gender reveal. Everything about this cake is perfect! The details, the colors, the writing, the quality, the taste! I really appreciate you all so much and the work that was put into this. I can’t thank you enough. Just absolutely gorgeous!

The ladies at this Shoprite that work at night especially Felisha are all AMAZINGLY HELPFUL. She even made a special order for my baby girl before closing . I can not thank them enough ! We need more of this attitude and dedication these ladies are legit the BEST 🏾 I can’t explain how much we appreciate you ladies ! They didnt have any butter cream cakes so she offered to make some buttercream cupcakes and then another young lady offered to spray paint them . I truly didn’t expect that. I have ordered plenty of cakes from shoprite but these ladies really went above and beyond for my daughter .

Friendly environment which includes the employees working here. Lines are typically short and I've personally NEVER had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to checkout even on a generally "busy" day. Also, the prices are reasonably fair and all items are usually in stock. Would highly recommend this location at anyone looking to get in and get out without the hassles of waiting in long lines or shopping without finding what you intended to look for to begin with.

Today marks about 20 plus years coming to this location for groceries and in all this time I have never had a bad experience there with staff or management. I’m a loyal customer to this franchise, with that being said the experience I had today with a deli counter person took all those years of service and destroyed them. First I was waiting in line to be served quietly with other patrons when I was accosted by a Hispanic female short in her 50s maybe she had blatantly disrespected me in front of staff and patrons for no particular reason. Her exact words were what’s your problem ? What do you want ? Where’s your ticket number? I explained in detail that there wasn’t any numbers in the machine she continues to belittle me in fron of her staff and patrons. I asked for a manager. I called up stairs and asked for a few by name since I’m familiar with the management there. Shanon handled the incident and so did Jeannie both long time well established management. my point is that this should never r have happened in a place e where they screen for people and personalities alike. Thanks team for handling this. I was still upset even while shopping there. I just want to say that this doesn’t refer to management. I hate to even post this but I felt like this person who was behind the counter needs to be fired. Upon further investigation it turns out she’s been prone to behave in this manner and although she’s a good worker It doesn’t excuse her actions.No good patrón should deserve to be humiliated for no good measure in front of the public becuase she’s having a bad day or felt a reason to act inhuman.This behavior reflects on the entire company the Ammons name. The store manager should have reached out directly to me in reference to this experience. I may never come back here. I felt like it was handled but, I can’t know for sure. The worse part of all of this was that this person was Hispanic I’m also a Latino and it was a slap in the face to me. We regardless of background and culture should strive to be better people. When working with the general public be minslfil of that as well.

I’ve had issues with order pick up here multiple times. To start, it’s odd the store makes you come inside to pick the groceries up rather than offer curbside pick up where they bring them to your car.Today was the icing on the cake of why I will never use this service. I received a text about my order - that it had been “shopped” but a few items were out of stock.I came in a half hour before my pick up time to go in the store to look for the items unfulfilled then went to p/u my online order and was told I would have to wait a half hour until my pick up window. I explained I was confused because I received a text message saying my order had been shopped. The woman said she couldn’t help me and had to get all of her other orders out. I am sitting out here in my car with no one else arriving for their orders….I continually have had orders with items that were unfulfilled but when I have gone into the store myself, the items are available and I’ve had to wait in line and purchase them which defeats the point of an online order - convenience.I’ve also had issues where because I did not select substitutions, I didn’t get the item at all. The items I don’t want substitutions on are on sale. If you can’t find the item on sale or it is out of stock (which I find hard to believe), I don’t want a pricier substitute.Order ahead at this Shop Rite if you want to experience aggravation and inconvenience.

Crowded and strangely organized by brand rather than product category (for example, Goya brand beans are on one row while store brand and Bushes are on another), but ok prices, good selection, and decent service.Some deep discounts are great buys. But most items are way too expensive.

I like this ShopRite but sometimes it’s a lil too crowded but other than that, this place is amazing and the food they sell is delicious! They even sell supplies, toys, and sometimes outerwear (coats, jackets, etc.)

Great deli. Good produce. Great selection of food items and household items. Pretty good bakery for desserts and bread or rolls. Has a bottle shop on site, so you can buy beer and wine at this supermarket. Pretty good prepared food section with a large selection to choose from and multiple types of food. Small flower shop in store, alright selection of flowers and plants. Ample parking....

S September 1st 8:30 a.m. I was at the ShopRite on aramingo avenue young lady was behind the counter making hoagies I asked her if she would make me one she said she did she can't hear me so I spoke up louder and asked her again she ignored me and just kept doing what she was doing as I just let her know if you weren't going to make me a hoagie you could have said something I called the store manager twice and I left my phone number and my name she never returned my phone call either so I don't know if she was in a meeting all morning or she was just busy but I do believe that the person in the deli or who is making a hoagies this morning neither attitude adjustment because you don't just ignore or snub somebody that's trying to put in a order..
