2 years ago I was a security guard working there and the bald headed short lady with glasses who is ghetto and is the employee had the nerve to start with me while I was guarding the door and she would not stop my only regret is not leaving earlier because the money ain't worth it.

Nice location, great prices. Great place to shop if you're not looking for super quality merchandise. Check that the prices listed on the shelves are the same when you get to the register. They tried to charge me $29.00 dollars for a $8.99 lampshade

I like the store but they Truly need help at the store no more shopping carts because people took them from the store and children come in stealing and open up products they need to get more security

Decent prices on most items. They have a little bit of everything in here. The problem was they had 1 cashier and she was trying her best to be speedy. The store also could use some renovation. Its not that its bad shape per say but its a time capsule from the 90s. They also close at 8pm. Although lot of stores have been closing at 8 now since the pandemic and crime.

After being in line for about 30 minutes the person in front of me forgot his wallet at home and the lady working on cash register number six made me and a couple who was behind me leave to a different register which the lines was extremely long with about 10 people in line. She claims that she couldn’t void the transaction and take us! extremely unprofessional ! After waiting in line ones again she then proceeded to wait about 20 minutes once she noticed he never returned. She void the transactions and took different client !

This is actually a nice store as far as discounts and nice home goods, very reasonable. However, I do have a problem with this location’s Customer Service is very very very bad at times. The management and some of the employees are very rude. If they could get that under control they would be ok.

Good deals but long wait.Last week only two registers open nearly 25 minsIn line waiting to pay. Today one register open and that register is also the customer returns.One customer left their cart in line and walked out.Assuming due to the line was moving very slow. With only three people ahead.This store seems not to care about providing ample registers open to service their customers timely.

Very bad customer service,oct.20 2022 i came to grab some stuff,ended paying double for one item and then tried to return an item that supposely didnt show up in my receipt,they didnt return my money,they thiefs called managers!Employees and managers are very very rude and have a nasty attitude towards the customers

Normally, Roses is a great store to shop, but lately there are NEVER enough cashiers to get you out in a timely fashion.TODAY, there were only TWO people in the store!! OR at least that appeared to be the case. There was this young girl in what they call the customer service area and young man trying his hardest to get all these people out of his line as fast as he could accurately.I have worked in customer service before and this undertaking is alot for anyone to try to handle. NO BUSINESS at ANY TIME should only have TWO people left to work a whole store of this size that requires attention to ALL sections at once. It TRULY is not fair to treat your workers in this manner. I hope for sure that these TWO employees get a BIG raise for their level of frustration they had to work through on this day.ROSES DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS and EMPLOYEES

Not a bad place to get the stuff you need for fair to low prices. They have layaway which is great if you catch something you really want but can't afford it at the moment. Roses occasionally has some treasures in there that can surprise people. However my rating comes from the fact that often times some the staff seem very disinterested in helping you. I've gotten looks of irritation to being told "I don't know" for some of the most basic questions I've asked (ex. Where can I find _______ ). There are other staff members though who are absolute pleasures to work with. I think Roses needs to train their workers a bit more in regard to customer interactions. I understand it may not be the pinnacle of employment but disinterest in work can poorly reflect on the customers.

Great place to get household stuff for cheap. Sometimes it’s overwhelming to find things but it’s generally good. Prepare to spend a long time at the till since not many cashiers for the number of shoppers.

A good reasonably priced store with a little bit of everything you need. They carry clothes for the entire family, shoes, home goods electronics, small food items, auto, gardening, furniture. A little bit of everything!!!! Go here to find your treasure. They have Senior Citizen Discounts on Wednesdays also!

You know how a bird chirps well every time I go to Rose's I say Yeah cheap cheap cheap! From household items to health and beauty to etc, you get the idea, it's reasonable and don't put a dent in your wallet. It's also for the whole family needs.

I called the store to see if they had an item, I was told they had it. When my niece went up there, it wasn't available. Going by what the cashier told me, I assume it would be there. Called another week to find out if any had shipped in and was put on hold no-one picked the phone up. Poor customer service. They need more associate's in this store.

Used to be wholesale liquidators before '08..no where near the same inventory of high quality appliances and furniture, but still has bargains on all items. Well worth the visit.

On 6/18/2019 I went to buy a lamp, price on the lamp said $5.99, when I got to register I was told by the cashier that the price is $6.99. I asked why does the price tag say $5.99. Her reply was I don't know do you want it or not. I replied that all the lamps that size say $5.99 and can I speak to a manager. She said there's no managers here do you want it or not. I don't think I'll ever purchase anything from here again. I was a weekly shopper.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Me and my husband are from florida we don't have any roses there.we also were down visiting Philly because we were staying at a resort 2 hours away. It was out last day there so we were planning to come back anytime soon. The store closes at 9. A employee wouldnt let us try on clothes because they so call already closed down the fitting rooms... It was only 8:30. Then at 8:35 they were calling on the intercom that the store is closing in 5 minutes. Then what topped off the bad experience, at 8:40 i heard one of the employees say out loud "oh my gosh there is still people in here!" At 8:55, a employee tells me the store is closed and stood there i guess to make sure i walk away. So me and my hubby had ended up having to grab what we thought may fit and check out. I don't know if this is a common thing in philly, but in florida we dont tolerate terrible customer service kike this.

Bob the district manager told me I don't have to buy anything after his employee treated me rude like I was nothing. The manager talk about me with other employees in front of my face (bullying) mean girl me. They over change me and took no accountability for it
