It’s a nice Rite Aid location on Market street with ample parking spaces for both regular and handicapped parking. The building exterior looks old yet beautiful and interior is newly renovated and decorated with nicely organized isles for designated items in each isle. Staff are friendly and cooperative to customers and listen to what customers has to say or what they need. Pharmacy staff are knowledgeable and eager to help customers with their medications or anything else they need to know. My overall experience was great 👍

Getting my prescription filled is always a miserable experience. If there is an issue or I need to check something, I can never get through to the pharmacy. If something isn't working online, I can't get through to them or refill my prescription without hiking all the way out to them since my local one recently closed. The line is always very long, the wait takes forever since there's only one person on register at a time. I know it's not their fault that their corporate is one of the worst and dumbest I've ever seen in my life, but they could at least answer the pharmacy phone once in a blue moon. I had to call the front end and get them to transfer me after explaining how stressed I was getting. It's the first time in the several months that I've had to use this Rite Aid that it actually worked!Anyway, I'm switching to CVS, they answer the phone and they're super nice at my local one.

The only good thing I can say about this pharmacy that it's closing down. Goodbye to bad service in the pharmacy section which is a total disgrace. I'm glad to be talking my business elsewhere.

Never fill your prescription here, you're better off at CVS, or Acme Pharmacy.They never pick up your call or pick it up and hang up. I need to know about my status of my medications because some of them require a specific manufacturer due to my allergies but nope, you'll have to go in multiple times just for one prescription and if you're lucky you'll get it.

I’ve called this store pharmacy 4 days in a row and no one answered. Called corporate office and they couldn’t reach the store either. This is HORRIBLE customer service look at the wait time and my hang ups and still no one answered. I hit the Covid prompt and a lady had me on hold 20 minutes saying she’d get her manager but no one answered and the complaint office said if I hear nothing by the 29th to utilize my complaint number. The 29th!! It’s the 15th

I had a prescription sent here because my regular pharmacy was out of stock and this location had it. When it was time for a refill I was told that they were now out if stock and would place an order. That was on a Friday. Let the weekend and labor day go by. I called multiple times on Tuesday and not one time did anyone EVER answer the phone. I don't live close by this location, so I didn't want to go in only for then to tell me that they don't have it. I just wanted to know when did they think they would have it in stock. I press 3 to talk to someone. No one answered. I pressed 2 to verify my prescription. It couldn't be determined so I was transferred to the pharmacist who never answered. Or the phone will ring. It sound like someone picked up but no one says anything. I even called one time and after a few rings it go back to the main menu. UT did not. It rang for about 5-8 minutes straight. Again it should like someone picked up but no one answered. This is very unprofessional. Why have a business phone if no one answers. Even if you're busy at least ask thr caller to old. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

Pharmacists are extremely lazy and won’t pick up the phone if it’s within 1 hour of closing time despite the fact that they are getting paid for that time.Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy like a cvs.

I really love this Right Aid. I’ve never had a bad experience there. The employees are super friendly and welcoming. It’s a little annoying that certain items are locked but it’s understandable why that is. Overall I really like the store.

i’ve come three times and waited 30 - 50 mins in the drive thru every time. why have the drive thru if you ignore it? this pharmacy always seems extremely understaffed or just badly run.

Came to pick up a prescription an hour before close fire vital time sensitive medication and stressed the importance of the medication and the pharmacist here refused to fill my prescription. There was a customer in front of me who was also having the same dilemma, and the only answer we received is we’re about to close… an hour early. Very disappointing. No choice but to try again tomorrow

The pharmacists here don't ever actually answer the phone, they just pick it up and then hang up on you without speaking. Some of us are disabled and can't always make it in person.Though hey, maybe this is better than the 57/Chestnut Rite-Aid where they cycle you through the hold music endlessly-- at least it's over quick!This is why Rite Aid is going out of business; pretty soon CVS and Walgreens will be all that's left (but at least they answer their phones 😂😭)

Please for the love of god, staff your pharmacy! This is not a knock on the pharmacy staff you do have, it’s that you need more on at the same time! It’s a shame that Rite Aid CORPORATE doesn’t care about its staff or patients. It’s clear as day to see. What a shame that corporate will probably see a one star review and further punish the staff. Hire more staff, let more staff work at the same time. It is ridiculous that I had to wait 30 minutes to receive a medication that was done. 30 minutes waiting to just be able to say my name and date of birth. The actual hand off and pay was 5 minutes tops. A simple pick up should not be over 30 minutes. No excuses Rite Aid. This is your fault for not properly staffing your pharmacy.

I can’t get through on the phone and have to call multiple times at different times a day. This is such an issue because I have medical issues which give me memory issues so I have trouble remembering to call again even with notes. I shouldn’t have to call multiple times just to verify that they are going to have my medication (that I NEED to take every day!) in stock. Please just hire more people so that your employees can have a better chance of answering the phone.

pharmacy won’t pick up the phone , rite aid is a deeply unserious business, which is why multiple stores have closed here recently in philly. thankfully i switched to cvs and it’s light years better and more professional. rite aid simply doesn’t invest in their workforce and doesn’t care

This store goes out of their way to find reasons to not fill your prescription. Have had multiple bad experiences at this location. Also, they're open until 8pm, yet at 7pm they were "too busy" to fill my prescription when I was there on 8/23/22. There was no one else waiting and two people working in the pharmacy. The pharmacist working that night was extremely rude and condescending.**updated on 9/23 to add: since leaving this review, I've attempted to have two more prescriptions filled at this store, out of necessity, and the average number of visits required seems to be about 4 to actually fill a prescription. Visit 1: "the pharmacist is busy or on break, come back later." Visit 2: "We need to order this medication, come back and drop this off next week." Visit 3: pharmacist finally accepts prescription. Visit 4: return to pickup medication.Filling a prescription shouldn't require this much time and energy. A pharmacist should be able to monitor supply and order appropriately to meet the needs of their regularly returning customers, who fill the same prescriptions every month. Yet since this store seems incapable of doing that, customers should be aware that getting a prescription here is basically a part time job.

Phone number often doesn’t work, have to call and call to get it to connect, been that way for months and other stores know it but it hasn’t been fixed. When I called my last prescription refill in, the system said it would be ready next day instead of same day, but it still wasn’t ready when I came in next day and I had to return again hours later. It still wasn’t ready and I had to sit in the drive thru for quite some time. Would not recommend the pharmacy at all. Store itself is ok.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Waited over 20 minutes in line for a COVID 19 test only to be told I needed a private vehicle for testing (in Philadelphia, a large city where many do not own cars). They told me to then call an Uber so I could go through the drive thru - I said "so I can infect the driver? That is ridiculous I am going somewhere else." The store was dirty, service was slow and rude, and there was no signage anywhere. I'd avoid this store if you can.

Went to get a covid test because I had been exposed. I am unable to drive due to a disability so I walked to the drive through window and was told I could not get a test unless I was in a car and if I didn't have a car should get an Uber as though the health of the Uber driver didn't matter in the last to the rite aid employee. So I guess rite aid expects all customers to have a smart phone, some disposable income to get an uber, and lack a moral compass about infecting uber drivers

The negative reviews here are weird. In 20 years the ONLY negative note I'd have is their refusal to sell smokes to senior citizens who can't prove they're 18 (or 21 now). Friendly staff is great & knowledgeable & and their vaccine shots PAINLESS! (And if their lines are long they call in right away to get another register open!)

Scheduled a vaccine appointment online in advance, filled out all paperwork online, arrived 10 minutes early and it took them 60+ minutes past our appointment time to get vaccinated. Not a single customer walked up to the counter during that time and there were at least 5 incompetent employees behind the counter. Unbelievable.

Really love this Rite Aid. Everyone are so friendly. I was here a week ago with my family to get the pneumonia shot and we’re very please with the service provided by the staff. They took our temperature before the shots, and everyone was so patience and they take time to answered all questions that we had. Social distancing rules were followed and they even provide hand sanitizer for customers to use!! Definitely referring friends and family to come here. Keep up with the great work guys! 👍
