Pretty chaotic store. Lot of empty and disorganized shelves along with unpacked boxes everywhere. The messy nature of the store made it difficult to navigate even with easy to find signage. There was also a broken glass case near the front that nobody seemed bothered by. Still, I was able to find what I needed and staff was helpful.

Horrible!! I received 2 text messages that my prescriptions were ready! Arrived at 1:30 the pharmacist screamed at me “We’re closed.” As she had 2 other customers checking out. RUDE! She made it like it was an inconvenience or total disruption to her to check me out for prescription. Because her break started at 1:30. When I began asking what time to come back she was already closing the gate. Not only will I not be using this pharmacy again but I will be speaking to the manager. It would have taken all but 30 seconds to get my prescription and clock out for break. As I am a manager too the customers should always come first. The screaming was unnecessary and ridiculous! It was a muslima woman screaming and younger african american girl on register ringing. She needs better customer service and training. 0/10 will not recommend. Calling my office now to change pharmacies.

Be wary this store will close at random times with no notice. In August 2023 a pharmacist refused to administer a shingles vaccine and COVID booster. There is an ugly security camera rig blocking the wheelchair accessible sidewalk.

The pharmacist here has no reservation about talking to you like you are the biggest inconvenience in the world. I had just a couple of important questions about some of the over the counter medications and she talked to me with a lot of resentment and annoyance. It’s a shame because you are supposed to be able to approach your local pharmacist with questions about medications. I get that corporate pharmacy crushes the soul out of every pharmacist, but the moments they get away from their monitor and get to help educate/guide their local community are supposed to be what they got their degree for. I’ve worked in pharmacy before and I know what it can be like. I have also seen a large number of different pharmacists each positively interacting with the people who approach them with questions. For all of them, patient consultations were their favorite part because they were able to help patients when they were their most vulnerable.Not at this store. Don’t expect any empathy or politeness from the pharmacist. Don’t expect a positive interaction. Don’t expect stocked shelves. Don’t expect a clean environment. Go somewhere else, it’ll hopefully be a better experience.

This evening I rushed to get to the pharmacy before they closed. My father does not like RiteAid at all. He hated the fact that I even asked the doctor to send this one prescription there but I needed to pick it up tonight and his pharmacy closes at 4pm. The pharmacist first told me that the insurance was not paying for it. Then when I offered to pay he said that the doctor had to call the pharmacy to acknowledge that he knows all of the medications he takes even though the doctor is the physician who writes all of his prescriptions. I told him that I have never heard anything more ridiculous in my life and asked for the supervisor information. He told me he was the supervisor and that he would give me 2 days worth of medication until they spoke with the doctor. I replied that did not make sense either because if you can give 2 days worth why can’t u give the entire quantity of what he wrote. He also then said the insurance did pay for it. I will never use this pharmacy again for my father.

Horrible experience . I'm use to going to this rite aid for all my pharmacy needs. There use to be a great employee there by the name of Alice that was very kind polite, attentive, caring & all around one of my favorite. She made the store better I recently had an experience with Christine she was very rude to her staff , in a rush with the customers & unorganized. It's like night and day between the two experiences. I recently found out Alice is now working at another store which is further away from where I live but I will still take the ride for the better customer service.Christine is not a good fit its just bad customer service & the moral of the team has gone down since moving Alice to another store.

Very rude and unhelpful pharmacist. There is a button on check out that says consult pharmacist. I seems this button is for show only. This Pharmacy has given me the run around. I will transfer the prescription to a different Pharmacy other than rite aid after filling prescriptions from there for years. You only know how bad customer service when you actually need help not when they just dispense and treat you like an object

Horrible experience. The Asian Woman Pharmacist (she wouldn't give me her name and avoided showing her name tag) was extremely dismissive and did not answer any questions but on there screen there is no answer to say your Pharmacist was rude and refused to answer questions so you have to lie about either saying you refused or the that pharmacist counseled you which neither options are true! She was more concerned with straightening up her back area than dealing with and addressing more. Absolutely poor customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.And there template response is triflin. I gave you very clear details and even filled out a survey afterwards. I am NOT calling and DM you after I spent all this time giving you details and have not seen or heard of any resolutions and the issues are still present. DO BETTER RITE AID.

Since our daughter is a freshman at Temple University and we live in Pittsburgh PA, we had to have all her prescriptions transferred to this pharmacy. I can’t say enough positive things about the service we have received so far. It has been quite complicated at times requiring lots of phone calls between myself, the pharmacy and Doctor’s office. These complications were mostly due to the Doctor’s errors here in Pittsburgh. No matter how complicated it gets and how frustrated I sound when I call, the pharmacy staff have been courteous, patient and efficient always helping to resolve the matter. Their efforts are greatly appreciated by our family.

I received my first Covid vaccination at this location on 10/11/2021 the walk in appointment was very seamless and the healthcare worker who administered the shot was very nice. I went back this evening 11/2/2021 to receive my second shot and the cashier in the pharmacy was very short after I stated that I did not have an appointment. He even went to ask the pharmacist who was a young Asian man and he was very rude and dismissive. He stated that they were backed up and you had to have an appointment but when I go to the website you can book an appointment for the same time I was standing in this store. I am very disappointed with this service. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND.

Do not come here for medical care! I waited about an hour at the drive thru for a scheduled PCR test. Even though I had my email appointment confirmation and my insurance card the employees couldn’t figure out how a way to get me a test. Finally left after about an hour with no test. Rescheduled at cvs

Just ghetto! This pharmacy is trash! The pharmacist is rude, they never answer the phone, the drive thru is ALWAYS CLOSED. Like I do not want to get out of my car and wait in this nasty store! Never using them again I will stick to CVS, much more class.

Have been attempting to get a pharmacist on the phone at this location about my prescription for three days with no success. No one has answered the phone a single time despite multiple calls a day during regular business hours.

The manager is very uninformed and lacks basic problem solving skills. I went in to receive money from western union with a valid work permit and was denied service because she wasn’t aware that that work permit is government issued ID!!!!!!!It was a very disappointing experience, especially after providing info from the western union site, that work permit is actually legitimate. I also tried to provide other documentation for her to match the information but she only wanted an actual driver’s license. As a manager she should have been flexible and informed.

Each time I try to find something, it's never on the shelves. Soooo many empty shelves and NO Saltine or Ritz crackers, Rite Aid?Really?..Aren't people in the hood paying your salaries? Not sure why this Rite Aid has bad reviews! I'm a student at Temple and this is an affordable place to get basic groceries, toiletries and fill prescriptions, plus the staff is all very friendly and helpful. The store has also always been clean when I've shopped here.

Literally the worst rite aid in the city. I haven’t been so dissatisfied with a place in years. No one answers the phones, the pharmacy staff is rude and the store itself is an eye sore. If you value your sanity, stay far as hell away from this terrible place.

Lines are always long. There is no such thing as good customer service at this location. No one ever has the key to display case. You can never get cash back. The pharmacy is an even worse animal than the front end of the store. I could go on for days. They have the most unpleasant and unenthusiastic staff.

As a pharmacy, where people go to pick up prescriptions they desperately need, the owner and management of this Rite Aid should be ashamed. Only about half of the customers wear a mask and it is not enforced. The security guard was also not wearing a mask. Everyone should be alarmed and horrified by this failure to take the most bare minimum precautions to keep everyone safe.

A policy has changed for the Western Union which they refused to give us a heads up first, as we approached the WU phone. Waited an hour just to rechange an address so it matched the address on the ID shown. Rude and nowhere near professional, only when they're trying to hurry you out of the store

I’m currently on the phone with the pharmacy and they’ve had me on hold for 15 mins I screenshot it! If you need it I’ll be glad to send it via email. This is just unbelievable you mean to tell me they are sooooo busy one person can’t tend to a simple phone call I was just trying to make sure my prescription was there before I drove there. And a young lady just picked up and hung up on me. So unprofessional I wish there was somehow a way I could get my medication else where. And the guy is right your always greeted by bums and homeless begging for your hard earned money! And the employees NEVER seem as though there happy to be at work! And I’ve be coming here for over 5 years

I Would not recommend the pharmacy because of there customer service and the lack of medication in stock. I was told a commonly use medication cannot be ordered for without giving me a reasoning and just walked away from me when I asked for a copy of the prescription.

You apparently have to play the geussing game with rite aid if you have a controlled substance because noone in the entire store can answer a yes or no question, "Do you have this medication today?" Ive been trying to get my medicine for weeks but I geuss ill have to switch pharmacies because it is just too dificult to get my medicine from this store.

My experience at Rite Aid Of North Philadelphia the store is clean and very new and the store is very organized the bathrooms are clean as well but my problems are the line was very long and kinda slow and the security guard was not very friendly and some of the employees are friendly but
