Update to response:Yes, it is the standard and has been going on for many many months at least. I know because I go there 5-8 times a month on average. Pharmacy Phone calls can go unanswered for several hours, routinely. The drive thru has cardboard with marker scribbled on it ( how nice) to announce early closings- regularly! Yes I have spoken to several in charge numerous times and it hasnt changed. Maybe the pharmacy is why this Rite Aid has 2 stars. And being a Pharmacy should be the top priority. This is not a new problem.Let me also mention, the store staff are friendly and helpful.The pharmacy/ drive thru closes whenever.. usually statimg staffimg issues. The drive thru has cardboard in the window most nights- usually after 6 or 7.Id say call before you go, but chances are they wont answer the phone. Cashiers in store are friendly.

The worst rite aid in the history of rite aids… it’s unbelievable I have been calling for 3 hours straight and no answer!!!!I spoke to someone earlier and she was so ignorant l…. The prescription is a prescription that has to be picked up in a 5 day time frame… acne meds. So I been calling nonstop and no answer for 3 hours straight. They are so ignorant someone needs to check who they have working here asap…. I swear if it expires because these loosers don’t want to do thier job or answer phones I’ll flip out it took me 4 weeks to get it approved

Great place to go and show at. You can tell the employees are always busy with something but always manage to find time for the customer. My only big thing is they need security bad. Like really bad. I know the employees can't endanger themselves but the theft is out of control.As for the people complaining about wait times, they are hiring. Wonder why they don't want to work....

The assortment of this store is not very large, or rather, very small. If you need to buy feminine hygiene products, never come to this store. The choice of pills is also very small. you can stand at the checkout for ten or fifteen minutes and no one will come to you. very slow staff. change the manager in this pharmacy and things can get better

Yesterday I went to the pharmacy to pick up my meds for preop. So I arrive and kevin the young pharmacist says I can give you these but you have to come in to sign for afrin so I say I can because I had a baby. Btw he was so rude and ignorant. So then I waited for my sons meds like he told me to do and I pull back up and he has this sign on the window. So I ring the bell and say why can’t u help me at the window and he says we’re short staffed. Meanwhile no one was in the store at all so I walk in and then saw him laughing At me with the new kid he’s training talking about girls social media and group chats. The store was dead and no one was at the pharmacy. I stood there for ten min after he ignored I was there because he was so busy on the phone w the new kid. So I asked to speak with a manager and he said i am the manager. So then I said ok I’ll call tomorrow and he said I’m working tomorrow also….. Can a manager pls reach out to me asap ? This needs to be addressed asap

Don't use the pharmacy. Orders not ready on time. Not enough staff. Long waits.11-29-23. I wrote the first review four years ago and said I would not go back. Today I decided to use just to pick up an antibiotic since closer to home and not feeling well. I was told it would be ready in 20 mins. So I wait 30 minutes then go to pick it up. I'm told it's not ready but will be in 30 minutes . Nothing has changed here Will go back to driving a little further for the CVS in Target on the Blvd that always has Rx ready on time and staff is knowledgeable and professional.

Cashier won't accept $20 bill to pay for things i bought because they dont have enough change in cash register... no wonder this place has low reviews... staff is really rude and will give you two answer "i am sorry, i do not know" or "i am sorry, i can not do it" no matter the question... they will NOT TRY TO HELP ANYONE, AND WILL NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR QUESTION. Stay away from this location.

I am not one to complain but this is necessary . This rite aid is the Worst pharmacy ever. They never answer there phone. They get scripts and won’t fill them for a few days. The cashier lady in the pharmacy is horrible . She always has a face. She’s rude . And you can’t even talk to her about your prescriptions. You get delivery and pay for it and half the time it don’t even come for a few days. The waiting in the line takes for ever while. I go to the drive through and wait a good 10/15min. They are always out of stock on important medications and other stuff.

I just got the worst customer service experience at this Rite Aid. The white guy in the great hooded sweatshirt was so ignorant, told me he can't look at me when I told him I didn't know he was talking to me since he's got ear buds in and not looking at me. He chose to grab batteries for me, the most expensive ones and then had a huge attitude when I asked to pick my own batteries. The older gentleman at the cashier was just as ignorant. These two employees need to be fired. I'll never shop here ever again.

Blows my mind how a corporation like Rite-Aid consistently finds the most ignorant and rude employees to work at their pharmacy. They don’t help or answer questions, which is why they have under a 2-star rating, because of their employees. Avoid at all costs

I recently had to switch pharmacies due to the closing of other stores. I tried Rite Aid at Welsh Road and Krewstown, terrible not having medication ready and never answering the phone. This is one of the worst Pharmacy in the area and sadly they keep it up because there is not much around. Cashier are slow and pharmacists are slower with an attitude. I write this review because today i was more annoyed. I come from getting my wisdom tooth remove and i need motrin 800 and they told me to wait 1hr. I ask em if they could be accommodating since my face is swollen and the anesthesia is wearing off and they said lets see and a coworker passing by said no 1 hr. There is always an issue with Rite aid… I am beginning to believe requirements to work and rite are Rude and Slow

The absolute worst rite aid around I’ll tell u that much. My wife and I live in the neighborhood so we use to frequent this location. After seeing their employees literally have screaming matches with customers (regardless of who was right and who was wrong) a professional, employee, and customer service person should NEVER act like this. Then one day, they tried to pull that nonsense on me. I let two employeee scream at me and attempt to belittle me, until another customer had to step in at the check out like and tell the employees they needed to lower their voices and check themselves..this was the last time I will ever step foot into this store.They need to fire everyone here and out an emphasis on customer service for their next staff training

My prescription wasn’t ready even though I called yesterday. I’m not upset with the staff. They seem severely understaffed for a pharmacy. I felt awful for the poor kid who was working as he was jogging between the drive through and front end registers while the rest of the staff was putting together the medication and I felt bad for the pharmacist who seemed he was going to burst a vessel.

I recently switched to this pharmacy due to proximity to my daughter's home. Every time I have phoned this place, I have been put on hold. As I write this, I am presently on hold for 35 minutes. My fiance called the store section to see if there is a problem, whoever answered, yelled at him to hold on and just put him on hold with the pharmacy. No one ever answered him. He gave up. The other evening, I was in line at the drive through for ten minutes. No one ever came to the window. I have never had this issue with ANY pharmacy. I gave up and went inside. And waited again!I have now been on hold 40 minutes....still NO ANSWER

Extremely fed up with this location. They never answer the phone and Every single time I am at the drive thru picking up medication I sit there for over 30 minutes and I get that nasty miserable pharmacy Technician with the dark hair. She should be fired cause of they way she treats customers. STOP HIRING THESE PEOPLE AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO LOVES BEING A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN AND HAS 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE LIKE MYSELF..PULL MY APPLICATION AND START MAKING THE RIGHT CHANGES WITH YOUR STAFF. This is absolutely ridiculous. I live around the corner and called over 15 times to get my son’s important prescription filled. Nobody answered the first 12 times I called and then someone answered upfront, put me on hold for almost 15 minutes and still nothing. This is absolutely unacceptable especially when you’re responsible for people medications being filled!!

Never answer the phone! Hours are always screwed up and they close when they’re supposed to be open. There was only one benefit of going there and that was the blonde cashier who was always so sweet but haven’t seen her in a month so there goes any reason to go
