Baxter is a very anxious pup but he is always happy and energetic after leaving his grooming appointments at Premier Pets! They do an amazing job with the cut, nail trim and bath and it is always very quick. Added bonus they have fun bandanas on him at the end 😁 Everyone is super friendly and we never have an issue with scheduling. Thank you Premier!!

I just moved to Philadelphia , and I needed a groomer for my Sheepadoodle. As soon as I walked in with him I felt comfortable and I knew I could trust them to take good care of my dog. He looks and smells so great! I already scheduled my next appointment!

Best in town - particularly recommended for mountain dogs, working dogs, and giant breeds. As the owner of a Great Pyrenees who hates baths and is wary of strangers, I have to be very discerning in picking a groomer - my dog is too strong to be picked up, too strong-willed to be handled by a normal groomer, and can't go to one that doesn't have experience caring for breeds with double coats or know they can't be shaved.Premier Pet Services is completely understanding of those unique needs and is uniquely accommodating to them. Kelley the owner books extra time for our appointments so she can fully bathe and dry my dog's overcoat, carefully grooms out her mats by hand to protect her undercoat, and has a great demeanor and "bedside manner" that has made her the only groomer that my dog trusts. On top of that it's a great deal. Two double dewclaws up 👍👍

These people would make appointments and I would show and then they just didn't show up. Granted the one time they did my cat. They did a great job. But I do not understand what it was that we did that made them not show up once but 2 times.

Our dog is epileptic and different things can trigger his seizures. Premier Pet has been so patient with him, has informed us of possible triggers, and has done everything they can to make our pup comfortable. He always comes home smelling great and it lasts way longer than doing it ourselves. I recommend them!

Our very nervous huskita absolutely loathes baths. Premier Pets is the only place we take him, as they adapt to his needs and make sure he is comfortable during the experience. Kelly is awesome about communicating with us about him. And, he always looks his finest after a bath with Premier Pets!

a wonderful establishment with very nice and professional people. this was the first grooming salon that i’ve filled out paperwork at and it made me feel like my dogs needs were being heard and that the right precautions were being taken to ensure my dogs are safe and healthy! their haircuts turned out fantastic and they both left happy! i’m a forever customer now!

The team at premier did an awesome job with my anxious pup. Our dog also does not do well with other dogs. Making an appointment was easy and they arranged for her to be the only dog in the shop during her scheduled time. I felt comfortable leaving her with the groomers for her bath and nail trim. Always awesome when a shop is so flexible with a dog reactive pup. We will be back!

This was the worst grooming experience I’ve had and I don’t understand where the other reviews are coming from. I have a wired hair dog that gets a trim once a year to clean him up and was trying a new groomer when I brought him to premier. I called and made an appointment and when I asked if they needed his vaccines after they didn’t ask for them they said he was fine. I go and bring him in and the only thing I specifically ask for was not to trim his beard. I pick him up and his beard was completely shaved off and when I asked how that happened the guy at the front desk said oh yeah I forgot to tell the groomer, it will grow back though. They also used a clipper to shave down his body despite not asking for that. He’s a wired coated dog and his fur is how he regulates his temperature. Every other groomer I have been to has known not to use a clipper yet they tried to blame it on me saying that they thought asking for a trim meant his whole body. From not asking for records to the unprofessional manner of which my problems were addressed, I am very unhappy with my visit and would not recommend visiting.

Kelley is excellent! She cares so much for the animals she works with and is so attentive with each and every one. It's obvious that she and her team are true animal lovers. I would trust them completely with any of my current and future pets. Wish I could add a 6th star for the Philly sports themed bandanas :)

Premier pet services was amazing! It was the first time I take my Siberian Husky to be groomed professionally and he was real nervous but the groomer and staff were very friendly and extremely patient with my crazy pup! They did an incredible job, my Husky came out smelling great, and looking beautiful! A couple days later and he still looks freshly groomed. Premier pet services is wonderful and I have recommended it to a couple of my friends already. I’m a second-year medical student so I also really appreciated their strong face mask requirements as an effort to keep me and my community safe from the spread of the covid-19 virus and other microbes. 11/10 A+++

I HIGHLY recommend premier pet services to any pet lover out there! We recently had our wheaten terroir groomed and this is the best grooming experience she has ever received, the staff is so friendly and professional - I felt completely comfortable leaving her there and when I picked her up she was so so happy and looked amazing! The business is so clean and I can’t stress enough how friendly the staff is, you can tell they are true animal lovers and care about giving you a quality experience ! We will definitely be going back!

I relocated from San Diego a couple years ago and struggled to find a groomer in the area that I was happy with for my Border Collie. Thank goodness we found Premier Pet Service! I tried 5 other groomers and was unsatisfied in one way or another, but this place is GREAT! They service the pets in a timely fashion and they dry them soooo well! My dog comes out so soft and so happy every time, and the staff is SO friendly! Thanks for the work you guys do!!

I have been going here for about 3 years. I stood by them throughout their move from Main St. Manayunk to a short-lived mobile van, to their current location on Ridge Ave. I waited several months when their groomer was on leave and they couldn’t find another one to keep appointments while she was out. There have been many occasions of poor communication and lack of reliability; I have been willing to overlook those over the years because every small business was going through it. This morning I showed up for my appointment and the shop wasn’t open. I received no communication whatsoever. I text a number I had and was told that someone would be on their way. Twenty minutes later and still nothing. The lack of communication and reliability is old and I will take my loyalty elsewhere.

Just had my first experience with Premier Pet Services. It was perfect. My pup is a nervous nelly and they let her sniff around and get comfortable before grooming. She looks and smells great. Also, favorite part, everyone who works there is supper mellow. It’s a calming place to walk into - which is a great energy for the dogs and a great energy for the humans. Highly recommend!!

I brought my two pups in for a grooming (wash and nail clipping, they don't have hair to cut!) The service was great. They are extremely professional and are following the COVID regulations to a T. I love that they have a "waiting area" for the dogs themselves in the back. They do not need to sit in a kennel awaiting their turn. Kelley is already renowned for her dog walking business, so this store was a natural progression for her. I highly recommend Premier Pet Services, LLC. I am definitely coming back for grooming and my elderly pup may even try the water treadmill!

HIGHLY recommend! Premier pet services was a life saver. I have a Samoyed (think white husky) that is a tough groom. In the past he’s been destroyed at other shops- he’s come home with infections, and even shaved once without permission. PPS has taken such care of my pup: they are gentle with him, they care about his health and wellness, and they do a perfect groom job every time. They are also much more affordable than any other groomer I’ve sent our guy to. Kelly the owner cares about animals more than any other grooming station in the area.

Made an appointment to get my Great Pyrenees groomed. After Premier Pet Services had to reschedule me 5 times they finally were able to fit me in. The grooming was done well and I thought I’d give them a second chance. I made another appointment for a couple months later. I’m not sure if they forgot or just stood me up, but the store was not opened. After waiting 20 mins I decided to leave and never come back. Grooming service is good, but customer service is horrible.

Kelley and her staff always take great care of our pup when we bring him in! He actually enjoys going to the groomer and loves hanging out with them all day, I can tell because he pulls toward the door when we walk up to it and then pretends to hide when it's time to go home :) This team cares deeply for their clients/animals.
