Today we took our pup to Pooch La Vie for a pamper day. Our mini labradoodle looks like a new pup after the TLC he recieved with his spaw day pamper. He had a full haircut, ears plucked, nails trimmmed and he was styled to perfection. I love this place because from the moment you hand your pet over, you know they’re in good hands. The groomer was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions regarding coat maintenance. I got some great tips, advice and even some Amazon links for products to use on his double coat. My main concern is to prevent matting. This is an issue I’ve come across with my pup, and I know with the help of Pooch La Vie it won’t happen again. Pooch La Vie set us up with a bath and grooming schedule so that together, we could keep a good eye on his coat. It makes the maintence so much easier. Kobe looks great! He always comes back with a small accessory to finish his polished look. Be it a scarf, festive pup handkerchief, or even a bow tie. It always adds the best finishing touch! This is our forever groomer. I highly recommend!

Okay, I’m beyond irritated. At first everything seemed fine and they managed to take my dog same day, dropped her off, and they explained what they were going to do, GREAT RIGHT?! I let them know that I was coming a little later on to pick her up. They said they would let me know if she was ready etc.3 hours passed, and no phone call. I called them and no answer. So I drive over to go and get my puppy. Doors are locked. I called again and no answer. The owner pulls up, opens the door and apologizes. They explained that she is a puppy she was little scared- understandable. I paid and I left with my dog. By the time I got home, my dog is walking very slowly and stopping. I’m like, what’s wrong? I picked her up again, and bring her inside. Lo and behold, multiple quicks are cut on my dogs paws. Nobody said anything either which makes me even more upset. So yeah I’m not sure what’s going on, but this is unacceptable.

I am very happy with the care of my 1.5lb puppy. He came home soft and adorable. This company stayed in good contact throughout the entire process. They also put in extra care to make sure that our puppies first time experience with groomers went well so that he didn’t have any trouble in the future. My first time taking my Pom to get her 1st puppy grooming and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Her cut was done with precision and they definitely pay attention to detail. Updated : unprofessional. Rather than maybe reaching out privately to address the matter. Owner thought it was appropriate to respond on a public forum.Nasty attitude from the staff. Complained about grooming a small 15lb dog then tried to aggressively over bill for the service with bs handling fee. First groomer that has an issue with my dog. I wouldn’t even trust leaving my dog with them. If you didn’t want to groom my dog it was perfectly okay to decline. And they got a cut on her paw that she’s bleeding. They somehow turned a $75 grooming into $160 then had the audacity to have an attitude.Update: after a month the owner responded. And to double down my prior statement….if you charge additional money for “handling” which by the way you charge without prior consent from me…you do not get to have an Attitude as well. Your staff is rude and was grilling me down from when I dropped my dog off. If you cut the dogs nail too deep of cause she’s going to be uncomfortable.And I just noticed I was double charged on my card statement. Sneaky and unethical as well.You are a groomer… imagine a children barber being upset that the child won’t sit still…that’s how dumb you sound.

I rescued a dog who was in desperate need of a grooming. He was matted and reeked of pee. I explained the situation to Pooch La Vie and they got him an appointment as soon as they could. When I dropped him off he was very nervous. Mari was patient with him to ensure he had a positive experience. I dropped him off scruffy and he came back spiffy. I would highly recommend Mari!

Thank for your great service . I have 3 full breed maltase . They recieved full service care . The staff was patience with my dogs . They explain the service prior to starting service. Told me what the price was and what was needed they even explain to me how to maintain their hair a d let me know how often to bring them back . I arrived at my appointment time and recieved my dogs back within time stated and they looked great . They have gain them 3 new clients. Pooch Lavie Is my favorite grooming salon of all time! I know for a fact that the owner Mari is a huge Dog lover/ advocate for Animals overall! With that being said my Dogs are safe! What more could I ask for! She has rescued many dogs on her spare time! She is patient and she enjoys her job! She also requires the same from her groomers! It’s nothing but great vibes there! My dogs love it! They do an awesome job grooming my dogs and I will forever be grateful for them. Grooming my Big Babies isn’t easy but they get the job done! Thank you Pooch Lavie!

Despite how good my babies come back looking, the place is horrible with timing and communication. One time they had my babies from Opening to closing. They didn’t bother to communicate with me, I had to call them. Today my appointment was at 11am and it is now 6 hours later, but when asked about timing I said about 3-4pm knowing each dog had a different groomer. I arrived back the the location at 3pm and waited until 4pm to check on my babies. They are now telling me they aren’t ready yet and that someone called out. Instead of waiting until pass the time agreed upon, take 5 minutes to make a call. Not everyone live close by just to turn around. My kids and I waited past the time in our car with no communication. Once I called them we then waited another 1.5hours…yeah we’ll be going back to Petco. Even after all that the attitude from the black heavy set groomer was nasty to the point my 13 yr old ask what she mad for like we did somethingThey also had the never to say well Wynter is hard to groom as if they didn’t already have notes on her and she ain’t been coming to them on and off for over 2yrs. And that I updated Galaxy from a wash to a cut. That still doesn’t makeup for communication or take 6.5hrs

DO NOT take your dog here. My dog suffered a yeast infection in his ear right after I took him and had his ears colored. Shortly after that he had another one in his other ear. They have all the dogs they groom together in one room and never asked for any vaccination paperwork, which is unhealthy and unsafe.
