I came for a walk in nail trim for my little gremlin of a dog who hates when you touch his feet. It was a bit hard to get the attention of the grooming staff (but they might have been attending another dog in the back, couldn't see). But once they came out, everything was smooth and easy, and my pup's nails were trimmed perfectly! I'll be back. The other staff at the store are friendly too.

From what I saw everything looked legit The grooming area looks very nice and it's clean and they seem to have everything I needed and fortunately there wasn't 35 people up each aisle shoving stuff into their bags and robbing the place because people like myself can't afford to play pay $5 for a can of nine lives because thieves need their drugs and go in and get greedy and steal more than they should even though they shouldn't steal it all but that's beyond the point the place looks comfortable and look like a place for animals would be happy to go in and get groomed and looked as if a place where you can go get what you need for your fur baby and go home and make your fur baby happy like most of us love seeing our cats and dogs jump for joy when they see brand new stuff especially when I see my cats when I see their faces when I walk in with a PetSmart bag they literally know the logo and will all start running up to me and jumping on the bed and trying to get it open they are very intelligent and I wish that more of the world would treat them well and animals know a good soul and so I'm glad that this place was a nice place hopefully some dogs and even cats that can go with their mommies and daddies to the store would enjoy their ride

I’ve been to Petsmart a couple times since they opened and I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed. The store is laid out well, it’s brightly lit, shelves are stocked, it’s clean and the employees genuinely seemed to want to help you. My only complaint would be that the prices are a bit higher then what I’d pay if purchasing online but it is a brick and mortar so I can understand since they have a higher overheadf*edit 4/5/19 - I have now been to this location approximately 8x. I have been in with my friends dog as well as my cat and the staff is always friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, I’m not impressed with the groomers and the length of time it takes for them to execute a standard grooming. I will say that the woman who handled my cat was very professional even after I expressed my disappointment in not being told my cat would be there for 3-4 hours. The groomer kept me in the loop during her stay and my cat seemed happy when I picked her up however because of how the grooming is expedited with multiple cats/dogs and being rotated between them I won’t return for grooming. I’d prefer to have an appointment where my cat sees a groomer that’s dedicated to one animal from start to finish.**they price match Chewys and Amazon!!

Very rude customer service. I got a call today about my dog finishing up his grooming. And then another call about 30mins later with an attitude that went like, “Hi, this is PetSmart….You need to pick (dog’s name) right now.” First of all, I answered the first call when I was still at work because I knew it was from PetSmart. Second, it was my brother who dropped off our dog, who confirmed his contact info TWICE when he was dropped off. So, I don’t know why I was contacted. Third, we got charged an additional package that wasn’t agreed upon at arrival. This is the first time we had bad customer service here & it’s unacceptable to talk to any customer in that way. People need time to leave the house to pick up their dogs. It was way before closing times because this happened around 5pm & you guys don’t close until 8-9pm. Please respect the owners as much as you guys respect the animals.

Nice and cozy place never crowded when I'm there nice selection of fish my main reason to visit but also nice selection of food toys and supplies for other pets I get my kittens food and toys there.. And hey the people who work there are always helpful and friendly 😊

Picked up this tiny cute kitten in South Philly. But first, a trip to the pet shop. This petsmart made everything easy as they had most of the starting kit. I would have liked a larger selection of kitten can food but I don’t think there is one. Anyway, my cat and I are content with the current items. Will probably be some more things needed in the future I’m sure, would recommend.

Favorite pet store with great selection, friendly knowledgable staff and free onsite parking at Liberty Square. Our dog loves their house brand Whimzies edible dental treats. Pet Smart helped train our shiba puppy, groomed him, and even coaxed him to do a photo op with their Easter Bunny. Manager Chris was excellent to work with! I’m having a flea issue with my cats and he was extremely helpful in sorting through the many products and suggesting the best one for my babes/home to get rid of the little pests. Of course, dealing with fleas can be stressful, and Chris was very understanding of this. It was a great experience given what I was shopping for and I feel better equipped to handle this issue. Easily the best pet smart in Philly, thanks!

I don't know why I always do this to myself. I never learn my lesson.Whenever I don't feel like driving to Jersey to the Aquarium Center, I make a stop at this PetSmart to add fish to my 55 gallon tank.I just recently purchased some guppies, neons and a Betta. I asked the salesperson if any of the fish were sick. She had told me that none of the fish that I was getting were sick. However, she pointed to the left of where I was getting fish and said that they all were sick. I got a bad feeling and almost just walked out. But, I went ahead and made the purchase anyway.I purchased fish from here probably about 5 years ago. They had ick and wiped out my entire tank, including my 10 year old, two foot pleco and my 20-year-old turtle.I will never learn.About a week after I recently purchased the fish from the store, the Betta does as well as the majority of my platy fish were dying. I had about 30 platys. I'm now down to 4. I wound up treating the tank and doing what are changes.I just found one of the newer guppies dead at the bottom of the tank.I will make that trip to New Jersey to the Aquarium Center from now on.PetSmart fish are always sick and kill your existing fish.

They are very pleasant here and the store is new so it’s in great condition ! I don’t want to disclose the employees name but my dogs sanitary trim was horrible, his nails were much sharper when he left then before he came and his face was cut very unevenly, it was so visible that we had to cut the extra hair off ourselves. He did smell good tho ! 3 stars

Today (11/03) at around 3pm, two lovely employees helped me catch this mouse I accidentally let out in the store and made sure I was all set up with the supplies that I needed. I forgot to ask their names, but one was bald and the other had blonde hair... both of them were awesome. <3

I've popped in here a couple of times, one for dog treats which was a fairly quick check out. Recently I rented out one of their Bissell carpet cleaners and Maddie was exceptionally nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated her help with renting it, she made it an easy process and took her time explaining it since it was my first time renting one. Also, the guy I returned it with was amazing as well... they've lucked out on some SUPER friendly, great employees. I was so glad I didn't have to drive a ways to pick up a different carpet cleaner from Lowes/Home Depot, Petsmart is much closer to me and the machine worked really well.

I'm really sorry to put 2 stars after shopping every month for my fish tank. I bought my fish tank filter 407 and returned it. I spent about $200 and tried to installed it and one small piece was missing. They did not want to try anything customer satisfaction or return policy for customers’ happiness. I'll not recommend that manager is helpful or had customer before.

Very clean store and surprisingly well-stocked. However, the grooming department is very disappointing, poorly trained (if trained at all), and seem to not understand what customer service means. Took 20 minutes just to get my dog checked in for a bath and brush. 2 hours later, I come to pick up my dog and notice she has eye booger and still smells. Someone must have overlooked the bath part of "bath and brush." Save your time and don't bring your dog here.

I have been visiting this PetSmart frequently for a couple years. My last visit was quite sad. After dropping off my dogter, I received numerous calls informing me that I needed additional treatments. I have gone here about 6-8 times and the cost has been around $75. This last visit, with additional treatments my finally tally was over $100. Saddened by the change in atmosphere and decorum.
