I come inside the store all the time and finally on a rainy day have my work bag to grab just some pads. Two weirdo workers shouting bag to bring up front. Like this is my work bag I come here often to and dont wanna take from this trifling location. Like if anything they could learn to approach people better and learn customer service.

Great store ...always open ..have great hours and they acknowledge you when you walk into the store....they recently opened back up from being closed for about 2 weeks...so hopefully it will stay cleaned and stocked ...now at one point after Linda (old manager) left the store WENT DOWN...hopefully it can stay what it looks like today dec 5th 2018

OMG!!! The store is disgusting. Everything is on the floor the shelves not organized at all. The workers looked high and dirty. I was so disgusted I’m glad I only went to get cat litter. I will never get food items there. This is outrageous the management most not get paid that well. It’s sad because it not a bad neighborhood and the store should not look like that at all. Who would want to go back after that tragedy and chaos inside. I was walking looking for the litter and one of the workers was just throwing the item on shelves not even organizing it. Sad sad sad sad… I wish I did take pictures of the mess in there. I was disappointed I wasn’t thinking about it. I use to love going there a fees years ago. Never again…

Very convenient to get to. Always have items I need, sometimes a little messy with stock items on floor, employees sometimes on cell phones not paying attention when customers ask questions. Up Date: store appears to be a little more improved in the cleaning of store prices are little increased it's still affordable, they sell nice frozen food convent of quick run.

The Chelten Ave StoreUpdate, again they closed at 7:15.....I was here at 7:20 and they were closed when they are supposed to be open till 10pm??? No explanation on the door either...Again I was there at 7:30 pm when they close at 8:00 pm and the doors were already locked, manager claims its because he was there by himself. Why would the manager be there by himself when they are supposed to be open? Just change your hours to 7:00 pm, Google says they are open till 9:00 pm but the store closes at 8:00 pm from what the sign on the door says. Might as well just think of the store as closed if it's after 7:00 pm because chances are you won't get in much past that time anyway! Not to mention the store is always a complete mess and all the employees are rude with loud non edited music playing so if you bring young children in don't be surprised if they have music on that's inappropriate...

9am on a Thursday. Dude is on his phone greeting customers. I grabbed what I needed and headed to the register. Dude is still on the phone cursing not caring at all. Each time he scans my items he slams it back on the counter. He didn’t say anything to me the entire transaction. I haven’t been here in months since Sasha left. She was a great manager that hired the right employees that atleast somewhat cared. I’m gonna go the extra mile now and just go to dollar general from now on.

I used to go to this store almost every day or at least 2 or 3 times a week. They pretty much get a nice % of my income because I would buy just about almost everything I needed for my household stuff here. I’m in the area and been here for 3 years. My experience with the new management has been horrible. I will no longer go there as long as she’s there. She’s constantly giving everyone a hard time. She doesn’t even realize who are her valuable consistent customers. She’s constantly harassing people. I got into an argument with her in front of my two daughters which was not right. she wanted me to push my stroller and a Cart at the same time. she gives the customers a hard time and she gives the employees a hard time also. which they do not deserve that in front of other people. She has no type of management skills. I am not the only one in the neighborhood they won’t be going there again. I spend 80.00 at the store and she telling me not to open a bag a chips for my daughter that I already paid for. Makes no sense. If you’re going to put a supervisor or a manager in the store, then it needs to be someone that knows what they’re doing and knows how to treat their customers. The store is also a mess all the time, to the point that you can’t even push a cart in the store, very frustrating. What happen to the other manager that was there. I miss her. They got one star because I had no choice buy to give it one.

I’ve being going to this dollar since I live on levick , and today I went there around 4:20pm with my friends and there’s a black lady she’s in staff , and have braids I don’t know how to describe her cause I didn’t look at her face and she keeps following us in the store she asked if we needed help we said no , then some minute later she came and say we stolen things , but all the things we took was on our hand then she grabbed the things and kicked us out with calling us names, I’ve never being treated as a stolen person before, she really don’t deserve working there , if it was a white person I’ll say she’s racist but no we both the same race , maybe she acted like that because we were talking another language ( French) she knows we not from here , it’s my birthday I was happy until i enter in that store , I’ll never forgive her , well I can’t do nothing about it so I let God punish her the way she accused us , just leaving this review to ya’ll know, the store is cool and everything but not her .

Very difficult to navigate the aisles. There were more items on the floor than on shelves in the aisles I visited. The cashier was courteous, but alone. Seemed there were more people looking for theft than were there for customer service. I won't be visiting this location again! Three stars because I was able to purchase everything I came in for.

The cashiers are nice but the manager Lisa is the worst. Some people just don't need a power position, the way she speaks to her employees and the customers is down right disrespectful. I witnessed her being extremely rude & nasty to an Asian customer, by saying"I can't understand a word that's coming out of you mouth". The woman was speaking clear english inquiring if a product was in stock or not. That's just 1 of many incidents I've witnessed. Nice store horrible management.

It's my neighborhood family dollar but theres always different staff as most family dollars. Didn't want to do this but it has to get done so we can all better ourselves. The cashier whom was a gentleman, takes his phone out his pocket and starts texting with half of my change in his hands. I'm just patiently waiting until he was done but you just don't do that with a customer in front of you especially when you're dealing with money. You mess up your drawer you're messing up your check. The text can wait. Unless it's an emergancy than just excuse yourself.

I Love Family Dollar...they have what I call "Good Junk", and I really do say this with love. However, I must say, including this one I visited earlier, they are all sloppy. For this reason, I gave 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, I still love Family Dollar.

Says closes at 10pm. It was closed at 12:00pm today Thursday. Just a sign at the door. "Close, Sorry" with employees inside. 🙄 hopefully they are not closing foe good.
