Let me say this first! They will lock the doors several times a day for smoke breaks. Then lie to the customers that the store is closed because of register issues, or low cash. Nah because they be so quick to smoke & lock the doors, that they will lock the customers in the store while we’re shopping. I watch them turn customers away saying that the store is closed while I was shopping.& The last issue is they pick & choose who can carry a reusable bag like Walmart bag in the store. They tell U to leave it up front then check inside. The cashier with the dreadlocks questioned me about a bottle of wipes & disinfectant spray that I had inside my bag. #1 Who TF told her to check my bag??? #2 Both items are from Dollar Tree & Dollar Tree brand. I work at schools so I carry these items with me. She tried scanning the items & guess what……they weren’t found in the store😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️The females here lack great customer service care!The Family Dollar further up Cheltenham wouldn’t dare provide such service!

Staff is nice but this place is horrible. They really need to consider closing down and fixing whatever issue is going on with the pipes. I’m sure the health department has no clue how bad this place has gotten. It’s been in this state for months with no work.

Extremely poorly run store. The doors are locked 3 to 5 times daily without noticed.I have observed this behavior over and over again during the past few months. This is unfair to people coming from afar distance to patronage the store

Beware of this dollar store the prices that are on the shelf. are not always the price that comes up on the register and the management. Ms Dee is a part of the scam to overcharge unsuspecting customers. There was a story on TV about this issue.

Customer service is ratchet. No greeting or assistance in store. Store is always in disarray. Even with the PA plastic bag mandate in place. You'd think they'd have bags beyond bday paper bags to purchase. Only because my neighborhood store was closed, I chose this locatio & what I needed was paramount. I chose this location. Smh. Urban shouldn't always equate "hood".

Today there was a line of maybe 6 people with some things..not a little But of stuff.. waiting patiently while there was just one register open. A couple of people started asking if there was another register about to open . the manager on site was walking around doing things work related by the register, she says no to the questions. Mine you.. the people including me were getting tired of the long wait. Note..the girl in the register was very nice. She was moving the line as fast as possible and with the right smile and attitude so she was not the problem. It was the M.O.S. (manager on site) who was not so accommodating and polite..not even trying to acknowledge the long line or request for another register. So I'll give that experience a 2 star.. The cashier I'll give a 4 star.

They don't like to unpack the stuff all the way and then get mad if you open a box so you can get the stuff you need.the stire look terrible. The manager don't do nothing. She have her kids in the store working and they under age. And nobody never knows where the stuff you need is. And they are not kind.

The store is very dirty. The cashier set my bags on the floor behind the register, instead of passing them to me as if I was going to run out of the store with the bags. very disheartening as a loyal customer. Again another big issue is that the store really needs a thorough cleaning

There's one cashier who's nice and helpful, Tae, is her name... She's new she always gives a thank you, good night.for I've been coming to this location for a few years, which I'd give a five star for the cashier Tae's customer service , thou unfortunately since remodeling you can't find anything, the store is always messy, floors dirty, always just one register, with long lines.. And I never can get cash back.. Seems the other cashier's never are pleasant, no eye contact. But what's the odds off the cashier Tae, getting recognition for her polite customer service, and the store being cleaned up...

Although most of the store associates are African American, they have a habit of following its African American customers around the store--loss prevention they call it. All of it, along with the filth crowded in the store, makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience.

It's a nice place to go shopping and get all of things you need for your 👪 or friends or for yourself too. And the people there are nice and friendly they will help u with what u need in there store. Great place to go for thing you need for your whole household.

They are poorly stocked, if you ask them to grab an item in the stock room they will make excuses because they are too lazy to get it for you and too lazy to stock the shelves, it's best to use the Cheltenham location or godfrey

Family dollar on Broad street around the 6300- 6400 block is a joke. They never have enough change, enough people on the register at high volume times. Only one register that takes money, the other can take credit, ebt or debit, how ridiculous. They give you a home trash bag to carry out your purchase. Sign always posted they need ones and fives.Where's management, someone needs to come out and whip that store in shape.

These chain if stores ive been to 3 today..chelten avenue..Germantown avenue & broad street..none of the stores had irons all three were extremely dirty..filthy..they are not being managed properly..my guess is because of the demographics..terrible wouldn't go into another one

Horrible. One cashier. When I applied several times for a position. You definitely take a chance at catching Covid standing in those lines. Again horrible!!
