My recent visit to Dollar Tree was disappointing due to the poor customer service and operational issues. The staff’s engagement with customers was strange and lacked warmth, with many seemingly more focused on enforcing pointless policies than on enhancing the shopping experience. Additionally, the store struggled to effectively handle employee call-offs, manage lines and registers, and maintain cleanliness, especially for families with small children. While the store offered a wide variety of affordable products, these operational shortcomings overshadowed the overall experience. Dollar Tree would greatly benefit from reevaluating their customer service approach and implementing more effective operational strategies to improve the shopping environment for all customers.”

I love Dollar Tree but yesterday I had a really bad experience at this one , the shelves were empty and really disorganized with a lot boxes on the aisles blocking the way, but the worst thing happened when I went to the self checkout registers , I was in line when a woman asked Are you in line? I said yes then a cashier came from somewhere and told to the woman behind me (Arrived after me) (You can come here to pay) without asking me anything ,I said ok .When I was paying at self checkout there wasn’t no bags and I needed one , there was a worker next to the my register ( talking with a friend and no taking any cares of the customers needs) so I paid , I carried Everything on my arms and I promised to myself this is (The First and Last time ) I won’t come back here never again.I felt really bad because I really love Dollar Tree.

Great location & are usually stocked but their customer service is horrible & they always close early. I was there a few days ago & they closed at 8:45pm. They weren’t letting anyone in after 8:45 & the employees were screaming across the aisles cursing & gossiping. Honestly the employees need to be retrained.

It’s a black lady with glasses that works here horrible customer service. I was in line while she was cursing up a storm telling the (what I’m guessing is her supervisor) how everybody is pissing her off and how she’s angry with the last customers. She Didn’t speak to anyone in line, didn’t even say anything when handing the receipt over.

Disgusting! Store is always a mess, never stocked, no new items, employees don't care at all. I refuse to patronize this location again. There is another one Broad St that is just 2 mins further and so much nicer. Don't waste your time

Cashier was rude! She was on her phone the whole time of my transaction; on top of that her delivery on my card being locked she yelled “declined”. NEVER WILL I EVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION!

alway use to come but stop coming because heard her they were treating my little sister like a slave doing other people cart they suppose doing their own stock they treating new worker like slaves and barley on time never going back to this store again I was standing at the door knock standing for atleast 5 min waiting my lil cousin just came out talking about someone making a threat to store sat not to far from the store just watch nobody came not even the cop saw then just chatting in circle even had had a friend of mind don't live that far she saying they still letting people in.

This is a nice size Dollar Tree and they had a very large selection of Christmas decorations, candy, gift bags and card to choose from. I was in happy land😀 ! I noticed they had a huge section of party decorations, wrapping paper, birthday cards, gift bags, etc! I would definitely be back for that type of shopping. However, the store is always messy. They have shipment out on the floor a lot. The floor needs some serious mopping too. They need more staff. I will continue to come back.

This was my 4 visit to this Dollar tree location in the last 60 days. And this time was slightly less appalling believe it or not then my other visits. The shelves are grossly under stopped while employees are walking around chit-chatting with each other, customers and managers from Save-A-Lot. No concern for their store, their customers or their jobs. I am a loyal Dollar tree shopper and I spin lots of money at Dollar tree but unfortunately I cannot even shop at the Dollar tree in my own neighborhood. Every times I've been there employees have been sitting in a windows not working. This is appalling and I hope that Dollar tree management upper management sees this and does something about it.

Not fully stocked but many items are available. The staff was working. No courtesy, like a greeting, or eye contact. The cashier were at the register completing transactionsn a timely manner. I spent less time than I anticipated at this location. Overall good experience. Parking lot shared with other businesses.

I went to Dollar Tree and spotted one of those plastic holders for silverware, you know, that you put in your kitchen drawer? It was a big one for just a buck. Last week I went looking for one in Target, and they were all over $10! 😮 Hell no!I love this store, they have everything you can think of!! I wouldn't buy shampoo or toothpaste there, but antibiotic ointment, crafts, decorations, nail polish, definitely! Oh, and don't buy deodorant from ANY dollar store! A lot of the cheap ones contain Tricoslan, which is a known endocrine disruptor and should be illegal.Also, new people work there and they're really nice. I'm not saying the other employees suck, but the new ones working at night on weekdays are nice. 👍

I love me a dollar store especially Dollar Tree. I took my residents from work last wk 2 a Dollar Tree close 2 my job. I was trying 2 purchase a stand-alone mirror 4 a resident. They didn't have 1 so I purchased a regular mirror & we thought about gluing a picture frame 2 it 2 make it a stand-alone. I went 2 a Dollar Tree close 2 my home. The worker that was assisting me 2 find what I was looking 4 was very helpful & she found a stand alone mirror 4 me. I purchased a picture frame & the stand-alone mirror so I can give my resident a choice. I also found other things that I've been looking 4 for my home.

This it's by far tyre nicest Dollar Tree in Philly. Always friendly and helpful. Store always looks nice and clean. Usually very well stocked. And quick checkout, they never hesitate to open another line. The two members of management that I've dealt with are also both extremely professional. Go past 2 others Dollar trees on my way here avid probably 5 other dollar stores. 💗 you guys!

The guy that manages this store is very unpleasant. If you don't like your job, find another one. Don't stay and treat people badly. You are supposed to be setting an example for your staff, who are all much nicer than you (which is why you got 3 stars instead of 1)

It looked more like a junk store than a Dollar Tree. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, can't day I've ever had a problem with anyone. But certain areas looked horrible!! Specifically the gift bag area. Fortunately, I've seen much better Dollar Tree stores, unfortunately I've actually seen stores in worst condition.

Messy store, making items very hard to find. Spent more than the normal time searching for allergy medicine. Store employees were helpful in determining sold out status of the product I was searching for. Cashier made checkout a breeze that Sunday morning. Shelves needed serious attention when I visited.

Horrible place to work or shop.Store is cluttered you cant go down the aisles or find anything.Manager is no help I went in to purchase balloons inatead of me holding up the line I said I'll knowing I would then be helped by manager. I go over to wait manager stops to talk to women about a job for her son fine I say ok he should be with me shortly. They finish their cinversation and he goes over to open up line that has like 4 to 5 people waitin. So I suppose to wait while you ring up all these people. No I left. Horrible service and store!

This dollar store over the past year has deteriorated considerably. THe inventory is always in unpacked boxes on the floor. Selves in disarray. It’s like there aren’t enough staff to keep up with the demand to keep selves stocked. It’s really bad. I don’t understand why upper management has not addressed this situation.

This review is based on bad management. I was standing in lane 2 at the cash register the cashier still had her light on but she informed me that she was closed and that I should go to lane 4. A gentleman walked up as I was walking to the next lane and she proceeded to ring his items. Once she realized that I saw what she did she should’ve corrected herself but of course she didn’t. She cashed out his items and walked away. 4/25/18 7:35 pm you have cameras check the tapes. Other than that the store was a mess shipment all over the floor boxes, trolleys I wouldn’t be surprised if someone tripped and fell. Extremely long lines so be prepared to wait.

Dear Dollar Tree,I along with several other customers, some of whom vowed not to return to Dollar Tree, witnessed an extreme case of racial profiling yesterday. The line was long and the manager was checking customers out. However, another employee, named Mary, instead of opening another check out line to help had followed 3 boys around the store, then simply sat at the back of our check out line to stare at and watch them. These young men were behaving well and seemed kind. I questioned the employee, Mary, as to why she was racially profiling these boys and following them around. She snapped at me angrily saying "I'm just standing here!" All of the customers witnessing this were appalled. I said to Mary these are well behaved boys standing in line to pay, you do not need to stand there and watch them. I told her she was racially profiling the boys.These young men were not being loud or doing anything that warranted Mary's behavior towards them. They were simply standing in line peacefully and waiting behind me to pay.These boys even made a kind gesture towards my 4 year old son as we were leaving the store.As soon as I left the store I immediately decided to return to let Mary know that a Cuacasion woman racially profiling young African American boys who've done nothing to deserve it is not kind. I also wanted her to understand that it is unfair for her to create these sorts of memories for them by stereotyping them. However, Mary did not return to the front of the store in a timely manner when the manager called her, so I exited without speaking to her The manager mentioned to me that "he had trouble with them before." However, I told the manager theses young men simply were not trouble makers. I also told him I did not believe they had given him trouble previously. It was obviously an excuse to cover for Mary's behavior.As a company, Dollar Tree should not allow this sort of racial profiling of its customers. This store is located in a mixed neighborhood. Employees should have enough of an emotional quotient to know when pre-teens or teens warrant caution and when they do not.Please let Mary know her behavior is not acceptable. I also think the manager was at fault for allowing her to stereotype, racially profile and follow these boys. I hope you will do something about this and not accept their excuses for racial profiling innocent young boys.Sincerely,Trouble by acts of racism and profiling
