Fantastic shop! I came and visited a sweet pup and ended up adopting him a week later. The staff are incredible friendly and helpful. When you adopt a dog from here or any other Doggy Style location they set you up with their food, treats, vaccine and spay/nutter info, etc. Even if you can't take one of the adoptable dogs home, you can volunteer to take them for walks. All in all every doggy style location is a must stop location for pet owners!

This store isn't convenient to me, but I like coming here anyway because they have a very good selection (even for cat stuff) and the people who work here are super nice and knowledgeable. Ask them about the history of the store cat and you'll understand why he's so unphased by everything!

Wonderful pet store that doesn't feel cluttered. I have often frequented the place in search for a dog to adopt. They partner with Saved Me, and often have 2 pups, or young dogs you can visit while in store. It's convenient since it's a local place I can go to to meet potential pets. Staff is very friendly and treat the animals well.

Made an appointment today for 12:00p. The groomer, Chris, called me around 9:30a and said “I don’t have much going on today and really don’t feel like hanging around the city until 12p. Can we reschedule for next Friday when I actually have more going on?”

We have been coming to this location for a number of years. On number of occasions, things have happened. Calling in to pre order an item and never get a call. Switching up grooming prices when being told otherwise when paying. But a few years ago my dog was snipped on the ear and was bleeding and didn’t see that until we came home. Without any notice of the mistake they made, my mother went back in and told them how upset she was and nothing was done after that but we still went back. I call today to make a wash and cut appointment. They said there was some notes that says my dog can’t be groomed at this location. She said they would call back. When she did, they said because of the extensive notes of my mother complaining about their mistakes that it’s best not to come to this location. As if no other customer would come in or call on the phone to file complaints about their dog being snipped and bleeding. Mind you this was a few years ago and we still went back. This place holds a grudge for no apparent reason. You are supposed to respect the customers in some way and make people want to come back. Told them we won’t be.

Super friendly and helpful. Full of options and cool toys for cats. That's right, not just for dogs. There are cool doggie donuts at the front and cat toys at the back. Cutest dogs up for adoption in the windows. There's so much here, you will definitely find whatever you need.

This store is great. The individuals working at the front are helpful and friendly! We’ve taken our dog here for grooming for a few years and loved the experience with Bex and Sylvia. I recently found out they left so I can’t speak to any of the new groomers.

I took my schnauzer here to get groomed! I do not recommend coming here. She did the opposite of what I asked. She shaved my dogs legs completely citing that she was matted and wouldn’t stand up.. in that case if you are having issues then call the owner!!!! Her back still has lots of hair that I asked be shaved. The inside of her ears are not cut down. Waste of my time and money.

Sarah — by far the best groomer I have ever experienced in dozens of years of doggy ownership, I felt this way after the first time she “beautified “ my dog, and it was confirmed after the second appointment, Sarah LISTENS and follows through so well that you don’t just get what you asked for— the outcome is delightfully superior to what you had hoped. My mom, who’s seen a gazillion pics of my dog over the years, said for the first time “wow, that groomer is GREAT.” Yep, Sarah is a gem.

Love the store but the grooming scheduling service leaves much to be desired. I schedule an appt yesterday, I call today and they don’t have my appt. - fine - but then they say I can come in anyway. When I get there the groomer says they are too busy and turns me away. The people are friendly but something is up with how they schedule the grooming services.

Dog groomers and pet treats and supplies are here. I took a family member to get their pet groomed and I went in to get something for my dog. The treats were nicely displayed and the variety was impressive for a small independent store. I purchased organic baked treats. I recommend this facility.

Super cute little shop with tons of toys. They had an adorable doggie in the window that is up for adoption. I'm not sure how often they feature a new dog, but it's a great idea. The staff was great at steering us in the direction of some toys that will (hopefully!) withstand our very toy destructive dog.

This is a mixed review. I was VERY happy with Bex and the quality of the haircut. Understandably with covid our appt was cancelled and rescheduled. It was subsequently rescheduled and cancelled two more times despite the store now being open. I was told that our groomer was going to a different store and the clerk couldn’t help me schedule in a different location and hung up on me.

Pros:- treated pet well- easy scheduling process- relatively inexpensiveCons- ugly cut- poor communication re groom style, hair length (much shorter than desired with uneven blobs where mats were removed)- cuts from mat removalOverall, wouldn't recommend getting your long haired cat groomed here.Got my persian groomed here. Specifically discussed avoiding a lion cut at the beginning of the visit and showed photos of the preferred length of hair based on prior grooms. I also shared that she did have mats on her legs and belly and we discussed cutting those areas shorter than the hair on her back. The groom only took 1.5 hrs because they ended up almost fully shaving her with uneven locations of cuts where her mats were. She had a cut on her chest and one on her leg, both of which were bleeding when we got home. Her sanitary shave is so short that the skin around it looks raw. She was treated well at the groomers as she has been behaving normally at home but I'm disappointed that we were not called when the groomer decided to shave most of her hair, especially as we explicitly discussed that at the beginning.

Love Doggie Style for their grooming and all the great toys/goodies they have! “Becks” has cut our Goldendoodle pup’s hair twice and be always ends up lookin adorable. Couldn’t be happier with how they treat him and the quality of the cut. Highly recommended!!

My parents were approved as adopters for a puppy at this location. I spoke on the phone with the store, confirmed that no one else had applied for this dog, and set up a meeting for my father and the dog that same day at 4pm. The store told me that there were no other meetings scheduled for the dog until the following morning. The dog had only just arrived at the store. My father goes in, LOVES the dog, and says he just needs to go home and consult my mother, but they would be back. They come back an hour later, my mom meets and also LOVES the dog. She asks the person in the store if she could possibly pay in full that evening, and then pick her up in the morning, as they would like to ready the house especially for her arrival and buy her some welcome home treats. The person at the store tells her 'we do not do that' and says she will call her boss to confirm. My mom, meanwhile, goes to walk the dog, whom she thought was about to be her brand new dog. She comes back in and the person in the store says that her boss confirmed she could not pay ahead of time to pick her up tomorrow. My mom says no problem, we will pay and take her home tonight. THEN, the employee says, ACTUALLY, her boss informed her that there was another family who had applied for the dog, who they feel is a better fit than my sweet and pre-approved parents. The boss, apparently, is enamored with the 'socialization plan' this other family devised, because the dog currently was shy around other dogs. My parents say that they live in the suburbs, surrounded by tons of families, children, and of course other family dogs, and would work tirelessly to make sure she was comfortable with animals and humans alike. This fell on deaf ears- as the boss's apparent 'other adopters' live in the city, and have an intricate plan for the dog. ONCE AGAIN, at no point did the store alert (1) me on the phone, (2) my father in his initial meeting or (3) my mother when she walked in, that there was some other adopter who the almighty store deemed more fit to adopt this dog than my parents (who, mind you, are fully approved adopters by the rescue). This sham of a business instead insisted on turning away my pre-approved, loving, and ready-to-go parents and forced this dog to stay an unnecessary extra night in the shelter so that this supposed better family with the socialization plan could come in the next day. This reeks of some shady dealing somewhere in the company's ranks, that sets up a completely ridiculous, unfair and, frankly, irresponsible system for both my parents, other prospective adopters, and the animals themselves, to endure. Absolute lunacy. I see in the other comments, this is a common practice. Disgusting. I'm only giving this place one star because I can't give any less - if I could, this poor excuse for an animal shelter would get a negative 50. Those poor dogs. Stay away!

Ended up at Headhouse because four other Doggie Styles were booked all weekend and this one still had openings! Quick full groom and my dog didn't seem distressed at all when we left which is a big plus. Will definitely be back.

My grandparents applied for a dog at Doggy Style after the loss of their previous dog. They were told they were the only applicants and they were excited to take the dog home. They had choose a name for her (Trixy) and they already set up a nice spot for her in the house. They visited her multiple times and were still told they were the only applicants. They were told that she had to get something surgicaly removed, and then they would be able to take her home after. After visiting her over 3 times, my grandfather recieved a phone call saying they had given the dog to somebody else. After their many visits, they were never told there were other applicants. My granparents were very disappointed about this news. How rotten could someone be to lie to a customer, get their hopes up, and then give away their dog? I despise whoever is running such a cruel business. I would not recommend Doggy Style to anyone due to the lack of communication between the worker and the customer. If you don't want to be lied to, I would reccomend never going to Doggy Style. The only reason I am giving one star is because I can't give zero. Thank you for reading.

I adopted my Cassie girl from Doggie Style at the end of Sept. My most recent visit was to get her a sweatshirt for the chilly weather coming. The damage done to the store and the 2 rescue dogs that perished in the fire(from the next door restaurant) is a tragedy. There are other locations of Doggie Style throughout the city.

Great neighborhood Pet supply store. It is a local chain but feels very local. They also always have a couple rescue dogs on premises looking for homes.

This place is not trustworthy and I will not go back there. They told my grandparents they would were going to be given a dog that needed a home there and got their hopes up and then gave the dog to someone else without any explanation or warning. Very disappointed in the service in this place and would not suggest.
