This CVS location in the Philadelphia area consistently falls short of expectations. The drive-through service is frequently unavailable, leading to prolonged wait times inside the store, sometimes up to thirty minutes for prescription pickup. Additionally, a concerning number of products on the shelves are expired. Considering the upscale neighborhood it serves, the overall experience is disappointing. Improvement is necessary for CVS to meet the standards expected by its clientele.

The pharmacist Mable was kind and helpful in filling my son’s antibiotics despite being very busy (and possibly understaffed) on a holiday. I’ve had issues with my medication not bring available at this particular CVS, but I know that’s not the fault of the employees. Despite the other reviews I’m always greeted with kindness and respect from the pharmacy staff. I hope that they’re given some aid soon to help with the issues described in other reviews, which sound to me like understaffing and overworked employees.

Generally I have had good to ok experience with this location. However on occasion it has been closed without notice. Today I was coming to pick up prescriptions which were going to be put back of I did not pick them up today. I did not previously because I was waiting to get paid yesterday. There was a sign at the front door saying the store would be closing at 6, but nothing about the pharmacy. I came in and the pharmacy already had its barricade down. But there were people working behind it. So I tried calling, but the phone menu was not recognizing my entries to even reach the pharmacy. Finally I just shouted to the back my situation, and at least got a response that my scrips would still be there tomorrow. Hopefully they will be open during their scheduled hours.

I get that the pharmacy staff is short and they have a lot to do but this is now the third time where I've had this happen and it just feels like I'm being taken advantage of. They don't bother to run the medication through insurance and try to charge me the full price. When I point this out, I am unhelpfully redirected to the "consultation" line where I am talked to THROUGH THE RAISED WALL by that pharmacist because they can't be bothered to lower it and then told I will have to wait again after it's processed so that I can be rung up because "it has to go through the pick up process again.". I am trying to be patient but this is crazy.

Pharmacy had the gate’s closed when I arrived on a Thursday at 8:30pm (should be open until 9pm). Most locals walk (or don’t own a car) and are forced to go to this terrible CVS. Asked the cashier and they said it’s open just for drive thru..

In the past a year ago or so, there was some good pharmacists there including a gentleman who helped expedite a refill for me and a booster vaccine. However, just earlier today, I called in to refill for a simple RX about 3:20 pm and was told it would be ready in about 2 hours. I went to the pharmacy around 7:10 pm, with no customers around so thought it would quick. The front register pharmacy tech was standing to the side checking an item in her computer and so I waited several minutes. I stepped up again after several minutes and the same tech said she would be with me shortly. After waiting another few minutes in the seating area I returned to the counter, and the tech said she will be with me shortly, referring to the pharmacist. I then said, I work in healthcare and have to get back to a patient. The tech then repeated the phrase 'she will be with you'. Under those circumstances, with no other customers around, the tech came off as a bit distant and not helpful. Finally, after a couple more minutes, the pharmacist stepped up to the counter, and after I gave my id info for pick up, she (I believe named Vishwani) said 'the prescription is not ready', and did not make any other attempt to help (as saying I am very sorry, we got behind, but If you can wait a few more minutes, I will try to fill if for you now). So, I had to leave feeling a bit frustrated and without getting my RX.

This is a good store with great deals, a wide selection and friendly service. My insurance plan covers OTC products at few storesThis happens to be one of them. I've absolutely no complaints.

I truly wonder how many 1 star reviews it will take for corporate to look into this location and all of its issues. If you are in corporate CVS reading this please help us lol!! SOS! this is such a famously horrible CVS in our area! They make you feel like a gigantic burden when going in to pick up a medication. Which i’m pretty sure is the point of their job, no? I just do not get it. The current employees should go live out their true calling of working at the DMV, not assisting sick people access their medication.

Do NOT use this pharmacy. Their incompetence is astounding. The pharmacists are inefficient, rude, and struggle to do basic tasks pertaining to their job. I have used plenty of other CVS locations without a problem, but there is always a major issue at this location. DO NOT USE if at all possible. How they passed pharmacy school is beyond me.

Lately the employees there have been really ignorant and unwelcoming and I won’t be giving this cvs anymore of my business I spend a lot of money here with or without coupons and I’m also a carepass member and have been for a really long time. I understand everyone has bad days and I didn’t complain or make a fuss about it the last few times but Today I will , my wife came in the store to purchase something and she kindly asked a worker by the name of Ramone to please check her out he ignored her at first and might I add the store wasn’t busy at all and might I also add she wasn’t having a good morning but despite everything she was going through she still was very polite to him. Ramone wasn’t very pleasant at all he was really standoffish, in his words while he was ringing her up he said “ we have a self checkout next time if you want to do it yourself “ in a very nasty tone of voice just a all around nasty disposition , very poor customer service skills, I truly feel he doesn’t care about his job at all and it shows . Ramone said that he was the store manager when I called on the phone and i hope not because that isn’t how you treat your customers at all. I willBe calling corporate.

The staff of this pharmacy is dismissive, angry (about God knows what) and unhelpful. I found this out on my own, but since then I've discovered several other people who have dealt with them and moved their business to a different CVS.Aside from the pharmacy, the place is disorganized and frequently messy. Whoever manages this CVS should consider a different career.Update 2 years later:Nothing has changed. In fact it's worse. Since writing the abve review 2 years ago I moved to a different CVS, with no issues. But because I had use this CVS again against my will, I was shocked to find that even though there are literally over a hundred negative reviews up here, nothing has been fixed. Add to what was written above: this CVS NEVER, EVER, ever, ever, ever, ever answers the phone. And it can't be because they are "too busy" – the new CVS I go to is much busier and they are FANTASTIC. CVS should read these reviews!! This location is killing its brand.

The pharmacy evening/nighttime crew is still a disaster. There is always problem whenever I pick up my prescription in the evening. Whether you are in drive-thru or you go inside the store for pick-up, the wait time and service for picking up a prescription is absolutely ridiculous. During my last visit, I pulled up into drive-thru and waited fifteen minutes outside after pushing the service button twice. I was finally told to go inside. Once inside, I asked the woman why did I wait fifteen minutes outside for someone to finally tell me to come inside. She responded by saying, “The curtain is down. The means to just come inside.” Who would know that? There was no sign outside indicating to do so, and I arrived during drive-thru hours.I am honestly shocked that this cvs has not shut down yet.

I’ve currently been on hold with the pharmacy for 35 minutes. After visiting this CVS my card was charged twice for the same transaction after one of their registers froze. I told the pharmacist that my card was already charged for my prescriptions but he said that it shouldn’t go through because it still said pending, he obviously didn’t know what he was talking about because both transactions went through. Had to contact my bank to dispute the charge.

This has to be the worst CVS within 1O miles. The pharmacist attendee unprofessional and "RUDE"!! I was picking up a prescription for a friend. I purposefully stood before acknoledge. I was the only person at 10:30 a.m. As a result, "you may want to consider another job." I went directly to the Store Manager and conveyed my complaint and it interrupted and knew he would not address the issue. This siteis often out of stock on merchandise regularly. I know I will not be spending my money at a facility that does not care about customer service. Enter at your own risk.

Pharmacy review. Expensive (compared to say Acme pharmacy) and really inefficient. I've waited over an hour here before for a script. It happens. The staff are generally friendly so I've given them the benefit of the doubt a bunch of times since. But I always wait at least like 15/20 minutes even when my scripts already been filled? And today I filled out the online prescription form at like 9am, for 3pm pickup. I came in at 3 and was told they hadn't started it and would have to wait. Waited about 30 minutes which isn't *terrible* but what's the point of doing it online if I'm gonna have to wait regardless? Pharmacists don't really make themselves available for questions.

If I could give 0 stars I certainly would. My son was in the ER, the doctor called in his eye medicine. Gets to the CVS they tell us 15mins. Instead I gave them a whole hour just to come back for them to say they never had the prescription & that he could get it on Monday. Today is Friday!!!!! Terrible terrible

The CVS on Lincoln Drive charged my insurance company for 5 prescriptions that didn't belong to me. Their reasoning is that we had the same birthday. This mistake happen over a 3 day period. Shouldn't someone had made sure that my name was also on the prescriptions before charging my insurance. If you deal with CVS make sure you check that you aren't getting charged for prescriptions that are not yours.

This CVS needs better management, better customer service skills, and to keep their online/app information up to date. Multiple times I have gone into this location hoping to use the photo print lab and it hasn't worked. I was able to put in an order through the app, and it went through. No one contacted me to tell me that the photo lab wasn't working so when I went in to pick up my photos (which I needed day of) I was informed that the photo lab was STILL not operation.The aisles are usually a mess, and they are out of stock of items often.

I went to this pharmacy to pick up meds. I stood there for more than 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Finally, the person who had been rearranging prescriptions right across the counter from me finally looked up and recognized me. They must do a better job of this. It's obvious they are extremely busy, but it takes all of 2 seconds to say "We will be with you shortly" instead of ignoring customers.

On two separate occasions, I have had to wait more than half an hour for a prescription that was called in ahead of time. Both today and last time, the pharmacists didn’t even start working on the prescription until I came in. Today, I had called that prescription in at 9AM. I was told it would be ready by 1 PM. I came to pick it up at 3:15 PM. I didn’t leave the store with my prescription until 4 PM. The pharmacists at this location are incompetent, plain and simple. The pandemic isn’t a valid excuse because other CVS locations I’ve used don’t have this issue.While I was waiting, I saw the person who helped me refuse to let an older customer with a medical condition use the bathroom. He couldn’t hold it, so went outside and urinated in front of the store. It’s disgusting and inhumane that he’d be refused the use of a bathroom and that they’d let him go outside instead.

Two star is because this place has such horrid reviews and wanted to stand out. Took five minutes of waiting at the pharmacy drop off to be acknowledged. Another minute before the person told me my 20 pills would take an hour and a half to fill when no one else was waiting. Probably fine if dropping off a prescription but wasn't my case since I needed it filled asap

I’ve never had a positive experience at this location. Pharmacy in particular. Here is ONE example- I needed delivery of my meds- the delivery driver left me a message saying they were unable to deliver. The next day I went into the pharmacy the pharmacist said I was wrong. They had been delivered and I was mistaken. I offered to play the voicemail. He argued with me until it was pointed out by a tech that there was a delivery bag on top of a random shelf and he looked at it said “oh here it is” and told me we were done. Didn’t ask me to sign anything or show Identification or ask my birthday or anything. Handed me a bag of meds and told me to leave. That pharmacist needs more staff or support or a hug or something.

Sat at the drive-thru for over 15 minutes just to get my ONE prescription. I figured maybe they’re busy, but no one came to the window or spoke through the intercom to let me know they’ll be right with me. This is the closest pharmacy to my house and is the most convenient for my work schedule, but I hate having to come here just to pick-up my prescription. Customer service is THE WORST.

The service is slow, disorganized, and inhospitable. I used to be a pharm tech and understand how busy pharmacies can get. But there’s no excuse for the poor service we receive at this location. I’m routinely kept on hold for over an hour, not regarded as a valued customer, spoken to as though I’m bothering them for asking where my medication is, then dismissed. I really need to switch pharmacies, the reason I stayed was because it’s relatively close to my home, but I need to let the convenience go.

The pharmacy staff is always friendly and respectful. Items are on the pricier side compared to other stores that carry the same products. This particular CVS has a very limited snack section and even smaller chip section. I found it concerning that there were products that were clearly ripped open and stolen. Not a place I would go to frequently unless to pick up prescription medication.

Truly the worst pharmacy. I have had countless problems getting prescriptions filled and the pharmacist is rude and patronizing. On top of that, the store itself I s disorganized and out of stock constantly. Literally ANY other CVS is better than the one at this location.

Refused to check my insurance to get the cost of my prescription when my eye doctor called on a Saturday. The doctor told me that the pharmacist said she was way too busy to check that. So I waited a few days and called them on a Thursday night. 30 minutes on hold. Apparently either the pharmacists think they're way more important or busy than anyone else or they are just way too understaffed.
