I’ve never had an issue with this pharmacy before; however, I called today 4/17/2024 around 4:45pm to ask some clarifying questions about my prescription, I asked my questions politely and the person on the phone was incredibly rude and was saying “oh my god I already told you, just call the other pharmacy if you want to switch”. I ultimately switched to a different CVS pharmacy (not for this particular reason) but felt I received unprofessional customer service just because I wanted to double check that I’m understanding correctly.

Just an hour ago website said opening time is 7am and all of a sudden 9am. I waited with at least 2 other people that also saw the 7am opening time. Need improvement on providing accurate and timely information on opening time s, people are depending on this!

The manager Zakia is very unprofessional very unknowledgeable, I asked a question about a product that online said that they had in store, and she said she couldn’t provide the answer then stated that when all her customers asked that same question she tells us all she don’t know the answer, which as a manager she should dig deep into finding out a better response to tell all her customers instead of “I don’t know” and when I suggested that, she showed a very nasty attitude, I guess she was offended and called her self getting back with me by showing a display of ignores. If the general manager of the cvs located on 34th and walnut is reading this please give Zakia training on professionalism first, second, training on in store items ect.

I’m standing outside the store right now at 10:29pm on a Friday and it’s closed? The store hours are listed closed at 11:00pm. So either change the store hours or honor the store hours.

I find whatever I need if I need to go to this CVS, but when I wanted to get a new extracare card, the lady at the counter tried to enroll me into carepass, which costs money, but that's not what I wanted. However, after a bit of explaining to her what an extracare card was, I finally got one. I would recommend using the self-check outs if you do go.

Convenient but the make-up/self care aisles need to be worked on. I saw lots of expired products on the shelfs. Same products I saw months ago

After shopping at a small pharmacy for 37 years, I had grown accustomed to personal service. However, it all stopped, I thought, when Joe sold his pharmacy to CVS. it was the end of the world. However, from the moment I started shopping at CVS at 3401 Walnut, I have experienced the same kind of personal service but this time from a Fortune 500 company. The store is well run, well stocked and the employees know their merchandise and are interested in satisfying the needs of their customers. It's a fun place to shop. Thank you CVS.

This place is always busy, but they have a big selection of necessities. We spend time going between the hospital and hotel for a week at a time once a year and this CVS is convenient for that. Sometimes some of the staff can be abrupt but most of the time they're friendly even though they're busy.

Everyone that works in this CVS are friendly.They always ask if you need any help?The Day Shift and the Night shift are down to earth.I have not seen or heard anyone with bad attitudes atthis establishment.Everyone that works here is so cool.

This location is awesome! I'm always greeted and they always have excellent customer service. I was completely astounded by one of the staff members bobby. Bobby was very knowledgeable, patient, and he went above and beyond to assist me, and inform me of the many different ways I could save some extra bucks in addition to my cvs.❤ card! Its been a long time since ive been wowed by a staff members wonderful customer service. Thanks bobby and keep up the good work!

A nice CVS (especially for Penn students) - been there a couple times now. Also there's a lady who greets everyone who walks in and is super friendly! I asked if they sold public transit (Septa) cards but since they didn't she explained the walking directions to where I could buy one - that was very nice.

My family and I have come here for almost 25 years and they’ve always been terrific. Everyone is super helpful and the pharmacy is very knowledgeable.

Very well stocked, everything needed for a last minute party. Be prepared to spend top dollar though! Standard downtown drug store pricing.Biggest gripe is the standard one for Philly and cities everywhere, no parking. Only paid street parking is available but they are often full.The pharmacy is often very busy and can be quite slow, plan accordingly.

While you'll still need to go to Frogro for your heavier grocery shopping, this CVS is one of the best places on campus to stock up on daily life essentials. At peak times, this store does get crowded, but the staff does keep things neat and tidy, and checkout lines move quickly. The prices are reasonable especially if you have their ExtraCare Card - every time you shop you'll get plenty of coupons, which come in handy if you shop regularly.

This is the most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever been to. Seven days ago on Monday, I came in with my prescription and asked to put an order for Vyvanse 20 mg. A man behind a distant counter said "Okay, I'll put that order in for you". I call back Wednesday later to check on the status of the order and it was never put in. Over the phone, I asked the pharmacy employee to please put in the order. She said that she'll do that and it should be in by Friday or the upcoming Monday. It is now Monday and I call back to check the status of the order. It was never put in, AGAIN! A substitute manager tells me that the actual manager who puts in the order is on vacation, so I can't put in my order until next week. She also proceeded to tell me that I was supposed to hand my prescription in when I requested the order. What?! So essentially, I'm speaking to employees who don't follow protocol, don't know what the protocol is, and lie to my face. Why is medication I need for my psychological health treated so carelessly? The fact that this happened twice by two different employees is proof that they are hiring incompetent people and this is a result of poor training and management. This really makes me wonder what other mistakes they make. STAY AWAY!

Had a really nice checkout experience at the cvs at 3401 Walnut Street. The girl offered and then retrieved 2 packs of Scott Paper towels for me!! She was the greatest!!!

Just plain rude! The employees seem miserable being there, and they take it out on customers. A pharmacy that hangs up the phone on you and hates its customers.

Despite CVS efforts towards promoting good health by no longer selling cigarettes which is great; this location has an ashtray post right outside it's door - despite Philadelphia code stating no smoking 25 feet in front of the door. So its really a turn off to have some disgusting ashtray post right there!!

CASHIER DO**A WAS VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT, SHOWED NO PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL WHEN CUSTOMERS ASKED HER QUESTIONS. POOR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS, HER ATTITUDE IS VERY AGGRESSIVE AND HOSTILE,THIS LOCATION IS CONVENIENT, BUT IF SHE'S THE ONLY CASHIER AND, IT'S CROWDED, I WILL GO TO ANOTHER STORE, THIS TYPE OF ATTITUDE IS NOT GOOD FOR THE CVS BRAND.

I bet it will be absolutely wonderful when they are done the construction but for now it's a little hard to look at on the outside meaning that it's kind of hidden behind the construction but inside is just fine
