I need a daycare option for my girls while we were visiting from out of town. The team at Central Bark Philly went above and beyond to accommodate us and make them feel so welcome. They knew who we were at arrival and always greeted my girls. Being able to pick them up with huge smiles on their faces (and take them home for lots of sleepy, quiet time) made our trip so much more enjoyable! Thank you so much to the whole team! From the moment I started bringing my mini schnauzer Rico at just 3 months old, they have been instrumental in his upbringing and development. Their comprehensive range of services, including daycare, overnight stays, training, and grooming, has been outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring, and Rico is always thrilled to see them. Central Bark's consistent communication, including report cards, videos, pictures, and training updates, keeps me informed and involved in Rico's progress. With their help, Rico has become a well-behaved and well-socialized dog, making our time together even more enjoyable. Diva has been going to Central Bark for ten years now. It is her home away from home. The girls there are family! Always pleasant, always professional and always ready to give my girl the best day ever. They treat every dog like their own and every time Diva comes home she’s completely zonked from playing all day. All I have to say is “do you wanna go to school and see your friends” and the tail goes a mile a minute. Her reaction to going to school makes me know she’s in the right place. I’d never send her anywhere else !!! Central Bark is the absolute best !!!

I am so grateful for Central Bark. I rescued Allen Iverson, a pittie mix puppy, who is so high energy about 4 months ago. Allen is also fairly skittish from being abused. The staff at central bark is so great with him, special shout out to Brittany and Kristy but all of them are wonderful. Allen loves going there and having him there a couple times a week gives me my sanity as he requires a lot of attention and exercise . Allen comes home tired and happy every time he goes. Allen has also come a long way in 4 months and I attribute a great deal of that to CB!

Being new to the city & new to taking my two dogs to Daycare & Sleepovers, I was super nervous, but excited to find a place that would be a great fit! The staff at Central Bark have been nothing but kind and supportive & even helped change my reservation over the holidays, as my flight was changed due to inclement weather. Portia, Kristi and the staff at Central Bark are incredible. They are so involved with the dogs each day, engaging them in activities and making sure they are all well taken care of. The facility is spacious, clean and has both indoor and outdoor play areas. We moved across the city 2 1/2 years ago and tried several local doggy day care businesses near our new home and none could come close to matching Central Bark. You will not be disappointed nor will your best friend.

Now that our already wonderful Central Bark has thoughtfully added one-on-one training, our pup not only gets the benefit of his favorite place to hang out and play all day, but also the training he needs to help his behavior outside of daycare in handling situations which before had given him a lot of stress and anxiety - and after just the first four initial sessions, once a week, we are seeing an amazing change in him! His progress with basic behavioral and command skills, focus and listening have earned his wonderfully patient trainer, Sarah, extra bonus points! She has really been working wonders with him! And she sends us these (of course, adorable!) videos and report cards so we can continue following-up with him at home! Its a joint effort and it's really giving us great results so we highly recommend Sarah and her skills to help out with any pup needing extra help with theirs!Central Bark has just the very best place for our little beasts! We started there over 8 years ago with our paw-princess and it really was her second home until she passed away. She always had the biggest smile on her face every morning she knew she was headed there, and best of all, for two very busy, working puppy-parents, to have ourselves a truly pooped out pup at the end of the day was a blessing! Wheaton terrier (and now the whirling dervish that is our new Jack Russell mix fur-baby) energy is no match for all the fun activities, puppy play-time and friends there, all while under the very watchful eye of the staff who are there to help make sure that all the pups are safe, happy and always learning!The staff really care and cherish all their puppy-charges and we couldn't appreciate them more for their efforts, especially when we have to travel, and we know we are leaving our fur-babies in the best of hands while we're away!Even when we moved completely across the city, it's still beyond worth it to make the trip there! Central Bark is most definitely our happy place!

Central Bark has been a wonderful fit for me and my pup. They treat her like family and are really accommodating of our needs! The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful and I feel very comfortable every time I drop her off. When I pick her up she’s exhausted from a great day of playing. What I like most about the facility other than the personalized service is how much space they have and how when it’s warm the dogs get to play outside and get wet. I would recommend CB to other working dog owners like me!

What a wonderful place for our fur babies! When I first came to Central bark, we took a tour, which was very extensive of the entire facility. Everything is very clean and everyone who works there is pleasant. More importantly, my dog LOVES coming here! As soon as we get out of the car, she is pulling to the door because she knows how much fun she is going to have. She runs up to great the employees as soon as we walk through the door, and she cannot wait to go in the back to play with the other dogs! She is always happy and tuckered out when I pick her up, and I feel very confident in the attention that she is receiving here. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for their dog to get a little extra attention. And the overnight boarding is fantastic too!

We think this is the best daycare in the city. Amazing staff who know us and our dog well. A great space to play, and dogs are grouped so that they play well together. The review that really matters though is the one from our dog, who has separation anxiety issues, but she is always so ecstatic to be at Central Bark that when we drop her off, she barely looks back to say goodbye. I’ve been taking my dog Yoder to Central Bark for several years now. He absolutely loves it there and gets super excited whenever I start getting ready to take him. He loves playing with the other dogs his size and I have the peace of mind he is being cared for by a responsible staff that know and love him. And they are always incredibly nice when I deal with them as well.I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

Today was my dog’s first day at Central Bark. The staff has been incredibly responsive in helping to orient us and answering my many questions and were warm a kind when I called several times to check on my dog. She was really happy at the end of the day when I went to pick her up and even did well in her test crate which would never be the case at home. I was really impressed with this daycare and so grateful to have found it!

Today was my wild pup’s first day of doggy daycare. I had no idea what to expect but they made us feel so welcome and safe dropping her off! All of the staff were so friendly and seriously on top of their game. They gave us an adorable welcome bag and a report card when we picked her up. Photos were posted on social media throughout the day so we could see how much fun she was having! So impressed with the attention they gave her, it helps so much with training to know how she behaved without us. I’m making another reservation right after posting this review :)

We have a high anxiety rescue, and she is very people selective - also, more-or-less uncomfortable/triggered outside the home. This makes it very difficult to find a safe outlet for her energy, considering she doesn’t enjoy walks and we even went as far as putting privacy film on our front window to prevent the mailman etc. from setting her off. Our trainer recommended Central Bark because of the structure offered by their day program. They offer different play groups which works well for our dog (she loves other dogs, but can play pretty rough and is intimidated by larger dogs - there’s apparently a play group for that!). She attends once a week, and will now wag her tail entering the building when greeted by staff. The team clearly has experience dealing with all types of dogs. Super grateful for Central Bark, it’s literally improved our dogs quality of life!

Central Bark is a great place for your pups . I’ve been going there with my pup, for 14 years.. Every time I drop my dog off I feel she is safe and having a great time playing with other dogs. I interviewed several places in Philly, tested a few out in Center City & there's no comparison to Central Bark! The girls know my dog, my dogs friends, my dogs personality. Portia is breed experienced, which was most important to me and further testament to professionalism. Great! First time I brought my 8 month old pup for a day of doggie socialization to CB. Clean facility with sufficient handlers throughout the day.CB did an evaluation to learn what my dog's needs were; a report card of the evaluation; selected which dogs were best for her play time; provided treats and nap time.Obviously, my pup enjoyed the experience and I could hardly get her to walk home, she kept looking back to CB.

Our dog LOVES attending Central Bark! She literally sleeps for the next 24hours following a visit because she is so tired from playing all day. Great outdoor area for your dog to get some fresh air.

We've sent our dog here multiple times, both as a day 'student' and a boarder. He loves the place and so do we. So many positives - as they get many dogs, they are able to match dogs into groups based on size, age and temperament. Our puppy always came home happy and tired. For overnight stays, I got the impression that the dogs were well taken care of, that each dog got a reasonable amount of space and attention, especially on weekends, our dog was happy at the end of his stay. Knocked 1 star for their price, wish it could have been 0.5 - while they are affordable, they are definitely on the pricier side.

I really do love this place. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they really do care about ur dog. The only negative i have is that the price has gone up 3 time in one year...small increments but still. However, my experiences are so wonderful there that the price is a minor factor in my decision to send my fur baby to central bark. The staff knows you by name, knows ur fur baby. The owner and is there daily to meet and greet you and ur pup. And the best is that my baby has a best human friend there and her name is Tynesha. We see her in the neighborhood often and they are best friends in and out of Central Bark.
