The absolute sweetest owner and team in Philly! We have been customers for over a year, and they feel like part of our family, even going above and beyond to allowing us to store pet food in their freezer because ours is too small. They know us by name, and were even so excited to welcome our newborn to the world.Thank you Anima for keeping our two dogs healthy and fed, and for helping a young couple with a newborn get through the day to day.

Such an awesome store with friendly staff. Quite knowledgeable about pet nutrition so I felt well informed when choosing a new cat food brand. Prices are very good, and they have loyalty points which will save me money plus free food and litter programs. Nice to know that they do deliver to all corners of Philly if I can't make the trek to Old City. Can't recommend them enough!

I recently moved to this neighborhood and discovered Anima just down the block from my new digs. Not long after, my cat disappeared and I stopped in to ask them if they would display a missing cat poster. Not only did they prominently display the poster at their cash register and another one on their front door, but they referred me to an Instagram page where missing pets are announced and they gave me some helpful tips on coaxing her back home. Every time I shop there, I am met with friendly, helpful staff. And bonus to those paying with cash, because they will give you a nice discount!! I love supporting small, local businesses, and this one embodies what I love most about small and local. Thanks, Anima!!

I wished I had known about Anima Natural Pet Products sooner, but I only discovered them a few months ago.Over my last number of visits, Veronika, Connor and Kim have proven to be super knowledgable about high-quality pet brands in foods, beverages (e.g. Bone Broth), litter, bowls and supplements. They have carefully curated the brands they have represented on their shelves.They are friendly, helpful, and a true joy to see each time I visit. They patiently answer every question I have.They also stay up-to-date on the latest news regarding trusted pet brands, especially when it comes to foods and beverages.I have been obsessed for several years, trying to choose the best and healthiest foods for my cats, so I consider myself a well-informed consumer.So I am truly grateful to have found Anima’s owner and staff who also take great care in representing high-quality, trusted brands dedicated to pet longevity and high quality of life!

A wonderful selection of unique limited ingredient treats for my senior cat with a million food allergies. The folks inside were super friendly and nice, and seemed genuinely interested to hear what I needed and help me find it. While there I overheard them having a conversation with a long time customer who was sadly moving away and I could tell they had formed a strong relationship with their customer base. My cat is now deeply obsessed with the sardine treat paste I picked up today so looks like I'll be coming back in the future :)

Amazing woman-owned pet supply boutique with knowledgable and friendly owner and staff. They carry top quality products and really care about your pet's wellness (unlike Doggy Style which only cares about profit). Also love that they have a self- serve dog washing station.They recently changed their name from Bonejour to Anima and moved just around the corner.

Found this place when my boyfriend and I were walking around Old City one day and we are so glad we did! We bought so many cute things for our dog and 2 cats and they were SO HAPPY with all of our new gifts for them. Such an awesome selection! My favorite purchase was a new bowtie for our golden!

This place is great. The owner is very knowledgeable about a species appropriate diet. My cats have had great results switching to a raw diet since coming here and seeking advice on switching from mainstream kibble to raw food! If you care about what your pets eat, and want quality food/brands, definitely stop by here. The owner answered all my questions about the best option for my cats.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I moved here with my cat not too long ago and this has easily become one of my favourite places to go. Everything they have recommended has helped my cat adjust. Whether he’s having behavior problems or just feeling down, they’ve really guided me well on how to handle these issues. The staff is EXTREMELY attentive. I have seen them put calls on hold if I am in a time sensitive position. They always ask for my feedback on products I’ve used to make sure things are going well, and they remember me every time which is hard to get at a bigger store. They are a little more expensive, but you’re paying a little extra for so much more care. I would also like to mention, I am a person of color! I saw a different review here that mentioned possible discrimination, and I am extremely apologetic to the person who felt that way, but I have felt very safe and heard in their store.I would recommend this place to anyone who is in need of that extra care and great products! Wish I could give it more stars! So friendly, so loving, and just a very warm feeling as soon as you walk through the door!

A fabulous wonderful store. The best best merchandise. No one has the varied display of clothing etc. Other stores in Philadelphia have the same mundane things but Anima have a vast unique display . Go there. Great food and treats as well. Go there and you will see!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ 🌺🌸

The best pet shopping experience I’ve had! The treats are locally sourced and very healthy alternatives to what you get at the big stores. Miranda was so patient with all of my questions and very knowledgeable. She helped me find the right treats and perfect sized harness for my little pup. I’ll definitely be back for more supplies!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely care about your pet and the overall customer experience. Great selection of food, toys, clothing, and treats (many of which are from other small local businesses). Our pup is a picky eater with a sensitive GI. Kim and her staff were extremely helpful and supportive on our quest to find a food that worker for us. Would highly recommend to anyone with a dog or cat.

This Is an amazing pet store located in a beautiful historic neighborhood. They have a wide selection of snacks and food as well as toys and harnesses for your pet. The employees here are usually very knowledgeable about pet nutrition in general. So, if you are not sure what food to get your dog or cat this is the place. Plus they have a loyalty program which really helps curve the food cost for our dog. If I could give it 6 stars, I would! The only issue is parking in old city, but what can you do? Welcome to Philly.

I've been going there for everything my cats need for almost 5 years and this is the best pet supplies shop ever! Everyone there are very knowledgeable. If they don't know something, they will do their best to figure it out for you. The owner always has the best suggestions on supplements for my kitties. Highly recommend them!

Amazing little pet store stocked to the brim with all kinds of things. We stopped in on a recent East Coast road trip and bought the pupster some treats, chatted with the friendly staff, and watch our mutt gulp out of their fountain on the hot summer day. It is obviously a great store staffed by people who love and care about dogs and their humans too.

By Gosh, this is one of the best places I have shopped in for years. They are ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND KIND AND HELPFUL. My hip was bothering me which made it different for me to get to the store. Welll the young lady volunteered to bring the food to the car with a smile and pleasant chit chat. Those who give false claims need to notice that as they point one accusing finger forward, 3 more are pointing to themselves. THIS IS A GREAT STORE let me repeat THIS IS A GREAT STORE. I live close to Glenside and travel through the city just to get to them and have been doing this all through the pandemic. Once finding them have been a constant customer. OTHERS SHOULD MIMIC THEIR STYLE.

It was a very cute pet boutique but I was shocked that the owner was berating her employees in front of customers ( both times that I went there). It made me feel so uncomfortable that I left, felt badly for the employees. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Very nice shop that offers a variety of items for pets. They have everything that you’ll need to keep your pet happy. The staff is helpful and answers questions. I appreciated the advice I was given. The prices are a bit higher than the chain pet stores. But the knowledge is far better.

I had a fantastic experience here with the doggie self wash! I have a German shepherd who hates the bath and everyone at Bonejour made the process super painless. They even gave my dog treats and helped her into the tub! We’ll be back!

Kimmi is the best in town. Knows how to treat doggos that are a little hesitant, gives great advice and has the best products on the market... Food, treats, cold-weather gear, CBD, leashes AND she will special order for you if you don't find what you need in the store.Shop small business!! You won't regret spending your money here instead of Petco or whatever corporate giant.
