Cute-clean-and well stocked pet store with the most friendly staff! Stopped on a Sunday morning to get my dog a gift as we left him with grandma for the weekend-staff was extremely friendly and helpful-showed me a few items (food toppers and treats) that are locally made-purchased the food toppers and my dog loves them. Definitely will stop again when back in town and support this store!

The store itself was nice and organized. The staff members were nice and helpful. However, both the birthday cake and dog treat I purchased were both stale. My dog had a hard time trying to chew them that he eventually gave up and I ended up throwing the rest in the trash.

My dog absolutely loved their mini cupcakes. I’ve gotten their cake before for his 1st birthday, but he’s so small that he couldn’t finish it all. So this year I got the pack of 6 mini cupcakes and it was perfect for him. They’re each a different flavor, so I loved that he had variety. And they’re so cute for birthday pictures. They were able to deliver to me too.

Congrats--Amelie's was featured in Queer Eye Season5 Ep 2 where they created pretzel dog treats! Delicious artisan pet treats, eco-friendly grooming products and healthy pet food alternatives in the Passyunk neighborhood. This pet store is a delight for shopping inside and out (check out the Philly artist murals in the doorway). Our shiba celebrated his 3rd birthday devouring the frosted bakery treats shown here. They are open and taking orders for curbside pick-up, delivery or shipping.

I loved this place. I could give to my puppy a nice 6 month old party. They know how to help you when you are looking to please your 4 paws family member. I loved the cake.

There is no better pet shop than Amelie's! It's well-stocked with basic pet supplies, super unique items (Philly-centric even!), and by far the CUTEST handmade treats, toys and accessories..... seriously, little baby cheesesteaks, pretzels and cannolis!!!!!? It's too much. Get your goodest and baddest babies the treat they deserve.

Adore this place! I got a custom cake for my Newfoundland for his 5th birthday and could not be happier. The cake was ready exactly as ordered and the staff was so friendly. Thorin gave the cake 15/10 and ate it in about 5 minutes. Will definitely be back!

I am in this shop at least once a week restocking treats for my dog. They have an amazing selection of treats, but also cute Philly team clothes and tie dye sweatshirts and awesome jackets and toys and accessories. It's a small local business, the products are curated, and you can tell they pay attention to quality and sourcing other local businesses (rocco's out of bucks co for example). I'm so happy they are in my hood! I am always in good hands in Amelies. They are just friendly and helpful and love on my dog. Why ever go back to those big box shops?!

CUTEST PLACE EVER!!!!!! I love this pet store!!! They have the most adorable/unique collection of dog collars, leashes, toys, and not to mention the home made cakes and treats! The cupcakes and cakes are too adorable and our dogs loved them at a recent birthday party. I just went back to buy a tie dye sweatshirt for my golden made by the shop owner's own dad! I am so excited to try it on him. Totally recommend this place, awesome inventory and even cooler owner!!!!

My favorite pet store in Philly! Amelie's Bark Shop has amazing staff and awesome products that accommodates if not all, most dogs/cats. Their clearance section has a lot of hidden gems and the bakery section is awesome! They also make their own bowties, bandanas, and hoodies! I've been a patron for years as I always buy a mini rice-cake for my dog's birthday! They recently moved to a bigger location which is right across the street from their original-- I'm so happy they moved into a bigger space for more wiggle room for more dogs/customers to visit! And if you're lucky, you get to meet the famous Amelie yourself!

I’m so grateful I have found this shop for my pup! What brought us in were their cute baked treats, but what makes us keep coming back again is the extremely friendly and helpful staff! So far I have interacted with 3 of the family members running the shop and it’s clear they love what they do! This shop is filled with cute, unique baked treats for pups as well as anything you might need for your fur babies. I picked up a customized cake, birthday treats, and toys all in one trip and the store owner was so friendly! We’ll definitely be back!

We love Amelie’s!! We come by most weekends with our pup Twix and are always greeted with friendly conversation from the father daughter duo that run the shop. Quality and creative treats, it’s really a must stop for pet parents if you’re in south Philly!

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences here. They have a diverse and unique selection across the board that consistently brings us back. The homemade treats are adorable (and apparently tasty); they even hand make their bandanas and our dog now has quite the collection. The staff is always friendly and informative and they love helping out the community. We’re very lucky to have a place like this in our neighborhood.
