I will absolutely not be coming back to any Acme ever again. I got here at 7:30 and shop for a half an hour. Had a cart full of groceries and when I got up to the front the only things that were open were self-checkout and beer and wine. I asked a gentleman if he would check me out since I had a lot of groceries and he said no, they stopped doing cashiers at this time of night a while ago. At the store patrons are expected to check out their own groceries no matter how much they have in their car at night. This just shows me that this store puts profits before people. That is not something that I want to support. I am willing to go the extra few miles to the giant to give them my business. Also this store is more expensive so I will not be visiting again. My last gripe is the fact that no matter how many people are standing around in the store nobody will open up a register for somebody with a cart full of groceries. This is just bad bad service. And to top it off the lady at self check out that it's training us all like dogs is always snippy. And no, I am not a boomer. I Am A 43 year-old Generation X who hates to see how automation is ruining things

Went to self checkout because there was one cashier open and the line was down the aisle .. the self checkout lady was EXTREMELY rude . She was hovering around me the whole time which was very strange and uncomfortable and then accused me of stealing a bag of potatoes that were in my cart I told her to check my receipt I spent over $100 that was ridiculous and I told her she said said I'm sorry u feel that way but in a sarcastic way don't know her name because I wanted to report her! Old lady with long grayish color hair I think it's time she retired because apparently she does not know about customer service skills!

Acme will most likely have what you’re looking for while going food shopping. Not always though. The produce section is always fully stocked and fresh. The meat section could use more stock. The employees at the store are professional and helpful. There are always nice displays. Lines are not too long and they move quickly. The store is in need of additional cleaning. The floors are always dirty. There is a large parking lot. Acme has high prices, they need to lower them.

Still a great place to shop except for a subpar produce section. A lot of poor looking produce or product that goes bad quickly. This Acme on Red Lion has a much better produce section. Customer service at the Red Lion store is lacking any kind of friendliness. Only go here when I am in the area. This Acme on Large n Bleigh getting better. Starting to have exactly what I'm looking for each time.

Grocery store with quick and stop options. Quality products but pricier than other grocery store due that reason. But there are coupons to make it affordable living. Employees are helpful if you need finding items. But wish the place would have been more organized for easy find of things. New shoppers will have to go through this change

Brought turkey from this location. It was already premade. First, we didn't realize until we got home it should've been pulled off the shelf. I always check the dates but overlooked that this time. I realized when it smelled sour and check the dates. It was packed on the 14th and was supposed to be sold by the 18th today is 3/19.Also, they added the ends of the lunch meat. I've never brought lunch meat where it looked like this. They hid the ends of the lunch meat in between the larger slices so you couldn't see it! Obviously that was on purpose.My husband had to go back and return it. Easy process to return but such a huge inconvenience. Didn't buy any thing else to replace.$7.41 for this.

When you do a pick up order. Your receipt says one thing & your credit card says another amount...which is higher !!!This has happened to me twice

Firstly when you walk into this store you have to zig zag around a bunch of things. Then you see the wine section and the fruits. Those areas are nice looking but the friuts and veggies are overpriced. The wine selection is good for a supermarket. The cake section is cute and nice too. I like the croissants I bought. Then the rest of the store is a horror show. It is so dirty. The floors look old and dingy. The meat section smells rotten and the womens room smells like a sewer. The staff at the deli counter is very rude and doesn't give you the weight you ask for. The cans in the sauce section are dusty and dented. Overall this store feels like it hasn't been cleaned in years. At the check out stand there was a staff member just standing there and not helping us. He had grey hair and glasses and was very rude when I asked for a bag because the checkout had no bags. I shopped here twice last week but will never return. Prices are way too high and store is filthy.

Very rude service people. I wanted to buy alcohol and one of the sellers treated me aggressively and did not allow me to buy alcohol. I am a 21 year old person and there were also older people standing there who could not afford to buy alcohol and were treated badly.

Been going her on & off (mostly on) for past 26 yrs. Great butcher (ring bell will get you fresh meat or special order), cake manager, employees & managers. Stores always pretty clean, their hot food ain't bad either.

I come to this acme often as it is close to my job, and I have always had very pleasant experiences. The team there is always courteous and helpful when called upon. Today is Valentine’s Day, and as to be expected, pretty busy. I went to pick out a few last minute things and of course, landed in the flowers. My eyes caught this bouquet labeled $19.99. I didn’t come for flowers but I justified buying them based on the reasonable price. When they rang up, it scanned reading $25. I pointed this out to the associate who grabbed someone from floral and said “people put them back in wrong places, but we can find you ones for $19.99” understood, but these were in buckets of the same arrangements in front of the sign. Maybe one or two bouquets misplaced would be a mix up, but don’t pretend it’s something it’s not. I took them over to the signage and counted 10 bouquets behind it in 4 buckets labeled $19.99. The woman putting the bouquets out, rushed the area showing me barcodes as if the price was on the barcode (it was not) and went on to tell me the same thing, “people put them in the wrong places, these ARENT $19.99.” Her demeanor was unnecessarily aggressive, she started snapping at the other associate named Cliff who up to this point was super kind and gentle regarding the matter. Seeing the escalation, I went back to the register to checkout, paying the $25 despite knowing it was their mistake. Feeling upset and slightly embarrassed by what occurred, I asked to speak with a manager. Shawn came out and couldn’t have been nicer, offering to make it right. At this point it wasn’t about the flowers or the $5, I could care less, it was how inappropriate the associate in floral treated the situation and her fellow colleague. When I went over with the manager to better explain my upset, she apologized backhandly through a sigh as if it would make a difference. Cliff also approached me on the way out apologizing, I told him it wasn’t necessary, he did nothing wrong and it wasn’t his reaction that warranted me asking for the store manager. I didn’t get the woman’s name who tainted that whole experience, but at the very least, I hope her Valentine’s Day turns around and she offers a little bit of kindness and patience to the customers and fellow colleagues moving forward.

Today i was at this acme store for shopping and i paid all my items at the self check out i left the store then one of the workers followed me to the parking lot with the receipt on her hands saying that i missed to scan two items which i was sure that i did , but i believed her and even i didn’t check my receipt to make sure , then after she checked well the receipt she said everything is fine. I was very upset because this is the first time in my life such this thing happened to me, so please next time before you tale any action and embarrassing a customer make sure first about what’re you doing , and i do remember the worker she is a woman and next time if she will do such this thing i will never stay quiet and i will go far with her today i didn’t say or disrespect her even i felt bad and annoying , hopefully you all will take this seriously , thanks

Acme is a good supermarket. It is not as gourmet as Fresh Markets,but it also is much less expensive than them. Acme is clean, well staffed,and anytime I needed help, I easily found someone, and they knew the store. It is my main supermarket.

I used to buy cakes from bakerie from years until and loved yesterday 😡Yesterday, I was going to a birthday party and I bought the cake, a tiramisu, from Acme bakery knowing that I will get a good cake. Not little was my surprise when the guest couldn't cut the cake because was frozen. And I bought as a fresh from their bakery. Huge humiliation at a dinner birthday party. Really guys??? You don't care anymore???Really disappointed because the price also went up and quality is zero.

The store is immaculately clean, meticulously in order, the high quality grade of meat and chicken as well as the frozen products are superb.... however... I think the management has to have an evaluation of the staff working with them particularly customer service orientation...

Very nice and sweet female at the register! Just got done going over the bridge a few times after doing miles so I need a paper towel and she pretty much gave me a whole pack WORTH and I didn't even have to ask. I've trained my body not to start sweating until I stop it interpreted me going to get something to drink inside of me as me back home so I started sweating like when you see athletes not sweat while they're playing but as soon as they're done and the adrenaline wears off they start sweating profusely that's what happens to me now which is good cuz I don't sweat while I'm working on just a little don't hit me until I'm done.

The prices are super high with a very limited selection of alternatives to select from and the lack of patronage or customers present during my visit was not surprising in the least. However, the cashier that assisted me was amazing! At the same time, extraordinarily helpful, friendly and you could tell, a beautiful person indeed. I had several separate orders and she was extraordinarily patient through it all! Especially with my lack of bagging skills! Lol!

Good spot for gas... That's where I mainly fill up.. the Bjs warehouse right next to it is right around the same price or a few cents less for unleaded/leaded/premium etc... but it's always packed.. Acme is the place to get gas quick and go about your business. I love it.

I always shop at acme. They always have what I am looking for and prices are reasonable. The only thing that I think could use some improvement is the number of cashiers that are open during evening hours. There are never more than 2 cashiers open during evening hours. I'm not counting self checkout but self checkout is for customers with a limited amount of items.

Where do I even begin. I’ve been coming into this store 2-3 times a week for the last 7.5 years because I work nearby and I can count on one hand the amount of times someone greeted me or even acknowledged me. The employees I encounter are mute zombies, not a single friendly face ever. Very unwelcoming. Times may have changed but it still doesn’t hurt to give good customer service to regular customers.

No one was on register ! And At self checkout as well ! To fix a self checkout register! I was wait there for 20 minutes just to buy 3 items! When I was ask help at customer service! This is a large clean store. When this store has sales, it's worth going. I got a great selection of fresh veggies for a dollar a bag. Don't wait for the last day of the sale though. The only problem I have with this store is the layout. This isn't my main shopping market so I don't know where everything is and it's big.

It's a supermarket ;some prices are better and they have a good variety of things that ShopRite and giant do not have, but overall, they are more expensive than ShopRite and Giant. I go for convenience this store is across the street from where my mom lives

Acme has a variety of vegetarian/vegan products perfect for an active, healthy lifestyle. Cashiers are friendly. They sell beer and wine, but the prices are high compared with the beer distributor up the street. Their deli closes at 7:00pm, keep that in mind for your food shopping hours. Their deli meats, cheeses and salads are better tasting and fresher than their prepackaged equivalents.

Nice selection of items and the gas prices are reasonable.Edit: While I stand by above review, I saw something troubling on Tuesday 12/15 where a female deli worker was verbally abusing a young coworker for not working fast enough. The older gentleman next to me was horrified. Not a good look, ACME.
