We ordered via DriveThru and got the Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie. My goodness this was so good! The vanilla soft serve tasted so light and creamy while the hot fudge and brownie blended in really well with it. The order has brownie bits in it and those brownie bits were soft and easy to eat. You can order in the store or go through the drive thru. We came a few minutes before closing and there was still a few cars ahead of us in line. After trying the Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie here, I can see why! I will definitely come back to try the other flavors once I’m back in town!

I got the Elvis sundae and my wife got the cherry Italian ice. Both were very good! Would definitely recommend this place. The girl that took our order was very friendly as well. 👍

First I left a review here a couple years ago and of course raves about this place! Had ice cream with the family through the Drive Thru!! Ice cream price for our normal order is about 5.00$ more than last year! Now the girl at the window slides an I pad in my wife’s face asking for a tip!?? Why?? They get paid for there job don’t they? I mean there not filling our water or cleaning the table off and bringing our food! Why a tip?? I think this is absurd I mean 20.00$ for 3 of us for ice cream is on the high end, maybe worth it, but a tip is absurd just to hand us our food! I think a jar where patrons could throw there loose change or a tip if they feel like it but putting people on the spot and begging for it, not good buisness!! Also; come regularly (2+) times a month!! Love the ice cream love the atmosphere and service at both locations Quarryville and East Pete!!

I can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner! The ice cream is fantastic and they have a wide selection of toppings and mix-ins which was very impressive! I got an espresso mudslide avalanche (similar to a blizzard at DQ) and it was SO good! We definitely will be back to try more of the items on the menu, especially the Italian ice!

Wasted 24 minutes in the drive thru. Purchased 2 avalanches for 14.44$ and was asked to tip. The avalanche I got was m&m and all the m&m's were at the bottom of the cup. Highly disappointed with the ridiculous service. Why ask for a tip when the price is already way higher than other ice cream spots. Forget about it. Save time and money. Avoid

It was okay. The turtle sundae was okay.Update: I love it when the walnuts in a turtle sundae are candied walnuts. Also, the soft serve could have been softer/creamier and I like a slightly thicker fudge. Although I appreciate you asking for how you could improve, so I’ll would give 4 stars for that and perhaps I was too harsh initially and I would try it again to see if there’s a better combo to try.

Had a pineapple Dole whip-excellent (very pineapple), others had raspberry twists and coffee milkshake and a "Fat Boy" sundae. Everything was awesome, sat at a shaded table outside to enjoy our treats. First time visitor to Sons.

Would really love if you guys could update your hours during your offseason. I was craving a milkshake so I googled places in the area and became super excited to see that Son’s was still open in early January (Google says you’re open daily until 9pm). I drove all the way there to find it was closed… :/

The soft-serve here is to die for. A very busy place indeed on a warm summer evening. Our order came out quickly and was delicious. Lots of gelato options as well. You will certainly find something on the menu that strikes your fancy. Don’t drive by.

We’ve always had a great experience at Son’s and love their ice cream. I love that they have no sugar added flavors so I am actually able to enjoy a treat with my family. They have awesome customer service and fast service no matter how busy they are. We always enjoy a trip to Son’s and will continue to give them our business for years to come. They also give so much back to the local community which is so very much appreciated.

Sons is a wonderful local family business with great service and wonderful ice cream. Between the volume of flavors and options there is something for everyone…even pups. Don’t wait for a hot day. It’s worth a trip just for their terrific ice cream.

Publicly shames customers for having a negative review. Extremely unprofessionalEdit : yes I have been to the store, it’s average. Nothing outstanding. The prices are high. But so is price of living right now, so that’s understandable. It’s not about the prices, it’s about customer service. Which is lacking for sure. I guess if you have an opinion, other than theirs, they will blast you on FB. Tacky, and sad.Edit 2: see what I mean when I say lacking customer service. His reply speaks for itself. It’s clear he can not take criticism of any kind. The sundaes are packed with ice cream, which is great. It’s a sundae, you expect ice cream. But the toppings are barely there. So it’s just soft serve ice cream, and the toppings hardly there. Can’t wait to see what his excuse is for this one, I’m assuming it’ll be “ have you ever run a business”I’d go elsewhere that has same quality Ice cream, but top notch customer service. This isn’t it.

Stopped in to get some ice cream since it was so warm out today. I ended up getting a cup of Pineapple Dole Whip instead. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and some flavors change from time to time. Drive thru or walk up service. I do think they are a little pricey for ice cream, but it's delicious every time. 😋

July 2023 : I am totally addicted to the DOLE WHIP at Son's Ice Cream! Dairy free and delicious. Their drive thru makes my obsession easy! Their ice cream is great too.(Located at Intersection of Manheim Pike & Miller Road; 1991 Miller Rd, East Petersburg, PA 17520)

Absolutely delicious!!! Addicted to their soft serve ice cream. Definitely worth every minute in the the drive thru, and a great price! This place is a hidden gem and worth the 40 minute drive from my house. The staff is very friendly, and even the teens who are at the window are pleasant, respectful, and just nice. That does not always happen, lol. I recommend it to everyone!!

When we can't eat Dumsers like we do on vacation, we go to Son's! Nothing beats it on a hot summer day! My only gripe, and it's an awesome testament on how amazing the ice cream is, is how busy you are! 😁 Always worth the wait. Will keep coming back for more and more! Keep up the cool work! 😎

Nice drive-through option, as well as choice to sit inside or outside. They have many flavors and combinations using both ice cream and soft serve. A bit pricey, but tasty!

Our favorite place for ice cream. So much variety and possibilities. Definitely the best place around. If you haven't been there I suggest you go and try them out. You will not be disappointed.
