From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the most friendly and thoughtful staff I have ever encountered at a veterinary clinic. Their knowledge and expertise put me at ease, knowing that my pets were in the best hands possible.The clinic's convenient parking for the disabled made my visits stress-free, and the office was always impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for both pets and their owners.What truly sets Main Street Vet apart is their personal touch. Not only did they hand out small, heartfelt gifts at Christmas, but they also took the time to send hand-written letters checking in on our furry family members. This level of care and consideration is rare and deeply appreciated.After my first visit, I made the decision to bring all of my animals to Main Street Vet, and I have never looked back. I wholeheartedly recommend Main Street Vet to anyone in search of a top-notch veterinary clinic. This was the BEST experience I've ever had at the vet. We have a husky who is a little wiggly and uncooperative at times. They allow you to be in the room with your pet instead of waiting in your car or the lobby which is so helpful for our dog. I've never met a team with such patience and willingness to work with a dog in the way they did. Another vet wouldn't see her without sedation, but these ladies were on the floor with her giving her treats, belly rubs, and making her as comfortable as possible. They were covered in husky fuzz by the end of it and still with smiles on their faces. This was our first visit and I'm just floored with how wonderful they all are. Every person in every role, all so lovely. Everything was explained super clearly, you don't feel pressured into anything you don't want, prices can't be beat, and we got an appointment same day as a new patient. 10/10, can't recommend enough.

We are new and will be returning clients at this new vet office. After our vet of 30 years had no room for our emergency, I called here and they saw our cat immediately! Dr. Ruter and the whole staff were friendly and professional and took excellent care of our Lucy. So thankful to have found this practice for our fur babies.

Kind, loving, caring, honest. This vet office and all the staff are amazing. I originally switched to this vet for a second opinion for my cat Grey who was having seizures. My original vet was very cold and a money-making assembly line. From the first phone call to meeting the staff, I was overwhelmed with how they actually listened to me and cared about my worries and insights. The compassion they handled my Grey along with myself (who was beyond stressed) was incredible. Fast forward to my current cat Pumpkin. We just had a health scare with her liver and I was a blubbering mess. Every single staff member was understanding and caring. For Pumpkin’s follow up, they were all so legitimately excited to see her and love on her. As a pet mama, it’s truly all you could ask for is to have others see the magic of your baby and love them too. I also am so grateful how upfront and honest they are about any and all costs before proceeding. No cost is a surprise and they explain why they recommend different tests. If you’re looking for a new vet, don’t hesitate. They will be in the very best hands. I have referred family members to switch and they also love Main Street Vet.

I’ve felt welcomed from the first phone call. I was looking for a vet who was going to be kind and patient with a first time puppy owner. I care a lot about proper dog training and dental health. Our first visit we were warmly welcomed and it stayed consistent through each visit. Jordan and Dr. Reuter are very supportive, smart, patient and kind…to me and my puppy, Benny. Every staff member I’ve met is kind and happy. They treat Benny like he’s their family pet. It’s truly comforting to feel the love. Highly recommend.

We really love Main Street Vet. Everyone we have met has been so kind and caring towards our dog and seems to love him as much as we do.They are super transparent throughout the exam to let you know what they are planning on doing, why they are doing it, and an estimated cost. We also never feel rushed and are always given the opportunity to ask a lot of questions if we are unsure about anything.I also love receiving the “Tails from Main Street” emails. They include everything from what to look out for during certain seasons, fun recipes for treats during the holidays, cute pictures of other animals at the vet and much more!Our dog is never scared to be here and we could not recommend better people to care for your pet 😊

I had to come here and leave a review after the experience we had at main street. We took my husky to Gilbertsville vet for an ear infection and goopy eye weeks ago to get it addressed. Unfortunately I was at work so I wasn't able to step in when the vet she saw gave my gf a hard time because the dog wouldn't let the vet mess with her eyes and put in her chart that she needs to be sedated ANYTIME they see her. Not that she is aggressive she just wouldn't cooperate. I was extremely pissed to learn of this and we immediately sought out a new vet and we're told to check out main street. We called and got an appointment same day! Not only was the experience absolutely top notch they didn't play any games with us and did EVERYTHING possible to help my husky instead of one attempt and giving up. All the techs were very attentive and Unfortunately as huskys do shed and we are at that point this year they still did everything to get done what we needed to with no fuss. I can say after all that I wouldn't go anywhere else for treatment for my pets. If you are looking for a place to go check the reviews because they speak for themselves especially here! Amazing people doing an amazing job thank you guys so much! Btw pup looks and is feeling so much better just a day after the appointment unlike the other vet weeks out and not much of a change.

This place is so special. It is one of the last remaining vet practices owned by a Vet that cares about our pets and is a true partner with you as you navigate health issues with your pet. My cat has had some serious health issues over the last year and they read every report from the specialist vets and call me to see if I have questions. The vets at this practice truly care for you and your pet and don’t work for some large company far away that only cares about profits.

Dr. Ruter, Jade, Carol, and team made this incredibly difficult process bearable and Bella was given the love and care she deserved! If you are looking for kindness, compassion, and great care, this is the place. Although we inevitably lost Bella due to an illness, we were beautifully guided through the process and Dr. Ruter made Bella so comfortable, to the point that when she passed, she passed with dignity.Thank you a million times over to the entire practice. My family dog is a 17 year old Pomeranian. Bubby, has always been super anxious in new environments. We are always worried about her health due to her age. Bubby loves Dr. Kim! She was less anxious and enjoyed her time there. Dr. Dimaio took her time on Bubby and answered all questions my mom and I had. We were both super impressed and will be coming back. We highly recommend this hospital to anyone! They care about our senior babies!

Kim DiMaio is an amazing Veterinarian. She took time to get to know our dog and provided such loving care. She even called to check up on him which shows she truly cares for her animals.
