We were lucky enough to see a newborn fawn on this visit. We took our 8 month old here and she loved seeing all the animals especially the monkeys. You can tell these animals are well taken care of and their habitats are beautiful and well maintained. Definitely a great place to visit!

Loins n' Tigers n' Bears....ohhhh myyyy!!! FINALLY was able to stop here!!! My sister lives right beside this place, so after visiting them, we went! It was $15 per adult (not bad) we were there for a good hour and a half. We saw many animals which I was surprised about but was excited. They have a super cute gift shop area and heard they are adding a bird area soon, so that itself will make me want to return!!! The monkeys were so cute! Only animals you can feed were the deer and they LOVE ice cream cones filled with food! The volunteers were also very knowledgeable and so kind to share information on the animals. Definitely will be back when the parrot and birds are available to interact with...overall, LOVED IT!!

T&D' Cats of the World is a great place to visit. Unlike visiting a zoo, the animals are alert and curious. It's fun to watch the tigers playing with one another. These animals have found their forever home. It's easy to see that their well taken care of.It's a must-see when visiting that part of Pennsylvania. We've been there more than once, and plan to go there again.

OMG ! We loved this beautiful wild life reserve for animals saved from abuse’, Public Zoo’s , families that couldn’t take care of a wild life animal, etc. The story is heartwarming as this beautiful family builtA home for all these unique variety of species that needed a safe place to live for the rest of their lives . It’s not government owned, and absolutely breathtaking. I have to volunteer!!!!!!!! It’s only been 24 hours and I miss these beautiful creatures already! If you want to take an interesting walk, this is the place to go ❤️

This place was a joy to visit on our pass through on vacation. The weekday guided tour was wonderful with Mark. Being able to hand feed the deer was a great moment for our 7 year old. As well as being so close to the animals was a unique experience. We even purchased a few small items in the gift shop and donated a little something to help out as well.I would recommend this place to any animal lover.

Fantastic wildlife refuge right in central PA. Still haven't had a chance to visit the aviary on account of lack of volunteers, but have been twice now to the main area. Lots to see and each enclosure has the animal's rescue story and other facts posted. Easy walking paths. Staff is engaging and knowegable. Bring your zoom camera or binoculars! I plan to be back sooner than later.

This place is incredible! I can't believe I haven't been before! What a wonderful thing this family is doing for all these misfit animals. Everyone should go at least once and check it out. You will not me disappointed! The tigers are beautiful, the primates have such personality!

We made our first trek out here probably twenty or so years ago and have probably been eight or nine times since then. The enclosures are very large and the staff emphasizes enrichment and quality of life; they have interesting and creative fundraisers (like the valentine cookie one!), very educational and informative, nice area to be able to picnic with the family while there- so nice to see such dedication to the protection of animals - we always enjoy visiting and encourage anyone in the area or passing through to visit.

This is a nice little animal sanctuary. It is mostly animals that came from unfit circumstances or exotic pets that were kept illegally. It has really grown over the years and is run mostly by donations.

Gravel paths cut out in the woods of PA... It's pretty cool, I took my 3 and 5 year olds and a wagon to pull them... Some of the animals don't like the noise the wagon produced, but I was permitted to bring it. They have signs to keep the noise low, which I like... I don't need to hear a bunch of loud people. I would say it was 3/4 of a mile walk through the woods, which was also very nice. My son got his a new backpack for school from the giftshop 😁.

Decided to visit here based off recommendations, it was a nice sanctuary they have set up for the animals. It’s 10 dollars to get in which isn’t bad at all and all of the money goes towards feeding all of the animals. This place is run entirely by volunteers and is a neat place for being out in the middle of nowhere.

Really enjoyed our visit. Same experience as a zoo visit without the stress of a city zoo environment. It's well maintained and clean, and important to remember this is an animal rehab facility that you get to be a part of by visiting.

Love this place!Nice walk.Great educational opportunity to see animals close up.Inexpensive day trip for all ages! Go at your own pace on weekends & watch/observe as long as you like!So nice to know these otherwise "unable to survive in the wild on their own" animals have a home & people who care about them.

Amazing place. They take really goo care of the animals and the prices in the gift shop were perfect for everything. Not an expensive place. Very affordable. You could take a family of four there for 100 bucks and still have gift shop money. My kids loved it

A real hidden gem! This is an amazing wildlife refuge with a variety of exotic and North American wildlife to see. Check their Facebook or website for their hours and tours. For a tour, just show up at the appointed time. The guides tell you all about the animals including how they arrived at the refuge. There is parking at the aviary and outside the gate. The trails have gravel but aren’t too difficult for most strollers. There are porta johns, bottled drinks and ice cream.

Discovered this place from a road sign and decided to make a pit stop to see some animals. There is lots to see here and friendly volunteers to answer any questions. For only $20 it's definitely worth it to see. We didn't visit the bird aviary, but there is one across the street from the other animals for $5.

Staff was knowledgable and friendly. Animals were awesome to see. Huge enclosures, so we didn't see some of them, but others were right up against the fence to be seen.

They have a large amount of animals to see.My only concern is that the cages are small for these animals and it was a hot day when we were there and the animals had no pools to cool off in and any pond that was there was covered in algae. The ducks weren't even swimming in them.My family all felt sorry for these animals.I've been to other animal rescue places and the animals have large enclosures and large cement ponds to swim in.Also, my granddaughter is 2 years old and we were never asked how old she was and my husband was charged $10.00 for her entree fee. When we left we saw the prices outside and noticed 2 yrs and under is free.Plus. . . only one person (an elderly man) working on the trails talked to us and gave us information about the animals.

This is a fantastic service for animals, and they have turned it into a great educational experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient with the kiddos in our school group. What a hidden gem.

Perfect place to bring the family for a nice outing. This is a cool animal refuge that has been an active part of the local community for as long as I can remember. I went here when I was little and now I get to bring my little man here which is great! The animals seem well cared for. Their enclosures are big so they have lots of room. Most have more than one animal in them so they are not alone.

I called them on a Sunday and I told them I needed help because I found a bat in my brothers lawn while mowing the grass. I didn’t know what to expect because it said in their name big cats rescue. However the lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what I needed to do. Afterwords she then instructed me how to transport and bring the bat to their sanctuary. I didn’t take a tour however it is definitely something that I’m going to do in the near future. Thanks again for being such a great help!
