It's nice to have a store to go to in Penfield now so we don't have to drive into Dubois to get something when visiting family. Workers are friendly and helpful when not busy. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars was it was packed when we were in there and there was only one employee available which made it hard to get the assistance that we needed.

This is the best Dollar General Store in the area. The store is always clean, organized and isles free of clutter that would make it difficult to walk through. The management take pride in having a quality store for the customer to have an excellent shopping experience

I can say, if you need to stop and get camping supplies or a quick gift that you forgot you needed a DG has what you need. We all know of these fast,in and out type convenient stores have what you may need but for convenient store prices. You will find a good handful around small towns in Pennsylvania as there are not the options as larger cities such as Pittsburgh or Harrisburg. Don't give youre money to the homeless out front as they most likely will spend it on their next fix, and you'll be good.

Recently opened, it's to the same standards as any of the other newer ones. Typically not busy, it's a place to go if you're close and need to pick something up quick for food.
