So I go to this store 3 days a week. Every week. I can not remember a time when I ever had a bad experience. The staff here is great. The management is great. Any time you have a problem or question about anything these girls go above and beyond to help with whatever. I happen to know a few of the people in some of these other comments and I will say not only is it 1,000,000% not in their character but it is downright not how they carry themselves. I think some people just get on here and make up false claims thinking they will get something for free. People nothing is free. Work for what you have and be proud. Dealing with public all day is a challenge in and of itself but dealing with ignorance should not be a job requirement. Unfortunately some people are just rude. I can only hope that these employees stay here as long as I am a customer at this store. Thx a million Patton DG.

Very cheerful and uplifting staff work there, never a problem what so ever everyday that I go in there and shop. Always help you with no problem. The store is always clean and the stuff is always stocked. I read some of these reports and it sickens me to see someone say that one of the most cheerful, uplifting employee was rude when I know for a fact that is wrong. I have never in my time knowing her ever see her be rude or anything. I don't know why people have to be so crude just because maybe they were having a bad day or want to put someone down but I can tell you that review is nothing but BS! I love that store and all the workers in there, always making it a great trip. Very friendly, cheerful and always make you leave in a good mood!! Hands down for all the workers doing a great and fantastic job!!!

Only gave 3 stars cause of lack of inventory. But as far as the workers go , they are always cheerful and helpful as far as Lindsey is concerned I have never once seen her rude to any customer even when sick she is chipper and helpful. She always has a wonderful disposition.

Store is conveniently located in town. Friendly staff to assist. Store often has lots of containers needing to be put up on shelves or empty cardboard boxes blocking the isles that are narrow and difficult to maneuver in. Items sell out fast and may take time to get back in stock.

This store for being a newer store is trashed! Good luck trying too push a cart down the aisle. Sad that the employees are always out front for the customers to see them smoking instead of putting stock up that block the aisle for carts and the disabled in wheelchairs. Better off going to carrolltown where the store is organized.

Really like this store. Love that it's close to my house. Staff very courteous and helpful. Only complaint is they are a bit slow stocking shelves. And this is not due to current staff, it's lack of staff. They need at least 1 more on shift.

I'm pretty sure this store is run with no more than 2 employees at any given time. Considering those employees literally do everything in the store, sometimes it takes a bit to get checked out. For a small town location the selection of goods are decent.

Very Nice store- and very FRIENDLY-- ALL WORKERS-- I just can not see how some one commented that Lindsey was Rude___( course some one had called on another worker, a few months ago-- and said he was rude person,, well that man and all the other workers there always greeted you when you walk in that door, if they are running register-- I am in that store at least 8 to 10 times a day-- and I have NOT seen not 1 Rude worker, or manager, etc- in this Patton Store Yet- ( NO ONE is perfect, people do once in awhile have a bad moment in life-) - They do their Best- and my opinion on the empty shelves,, the Boss / Owner should let them work later,, or in the night- 3rd shift- to get caught up-.. Just my opinion.

Not bad. They keep everything stocked. Just some managers are really rude when you're trying to find things. Instead of asking if you need help, they just follow u around as if you're steeling. In reality , things move around so much, you just really gota look for something you seen on a end plonagram , because its no longer there.

My husband and I just left the Dollar General in Patton. We ALWAYS shop there, the workers are ALWAYS very pleasant, until today's visit. The person who checked us out today was named was Lindsey (we believe). She was very rude when we asked any questions and we had to reach over the counter just to get our bagged stuff. She was very rude to us during our whole visit. If she is in there working the next time we go in, we will be sure to go elsewhere. I worked with the public for 25 years and NEVER treated a customer the way she treated us.

Lynsey is a fabulous employee. Always helpful and upbeat. Helps everyone and has a positive attitude. If not just recently retired I would have hired her in an instant if she was willing to leave D.G. An asset in any company.

I shop here all the time never once has anyone has any employee been rude to me or anyone else I know that shops there ! Best store to shop at when you can’t get elsewhere! I can’t see lynsy being rude to anyone. People are entitled to have bad days ! I would recommend this store to everyone I know just for the fact the employees are super nice!

It's ok. Went in for a big bag of Racheal Rays Nutrish dog food and they didn't have any on the shelf. Had to buy a small bag.No employees acted like I was there, until I spoke first.

Since the beginning of winter 3 months ago, Dollar General in Patton ,PA has not shoveled any snow off the sidewalk. This has created a a dangerous situation for customers and Patton residents trying to walk safely on the sidewalk ... the employees inside the store have always been kind and helpful, but this is a serious issue that needs to be remedied.

I hate dollar generals in altoona. But when i go to patton to visit my sister i always stop at this one. So much better!
