I went shopping with my 3 little ones along with my boyfriend. We went to try and find some outdoor toys for my kids ages 5 2 and 1. Everything was fine when we first got there but when we got to the toy section. My two year old son picked up a ball and slightly started to bounce it. While in the middle of trying to stop him ourselves we heard an employee scream from two isles over stop bouncing the ball. Which we acknowledged he did stop bouncing the ball. But with being a 2 year old he wanted to hold it and didn't quite understand so he bounced it again. The lady then continued to yell over from the other isle too stop bouncing the ball. My boyfriend then answered with we heard you we are dealing with it can you not tell at my two year old son who doesn't even understand why he is getting yelled at. He was very disappointed when we couldn't walk with the ball. The employee or manager didn't even come over to talk to us she just kept yelling from the other isle. We would have understood if she came over and nicely said something Instead of yelling at us from a different isle. We were so upset after we had to leave and if that is how they are going to treat costumers especially children then I don't think I will be returning.

Gotta say my familys done with dollar general. Most of our friends also.. After the old heavy set lady with the horrible attitude started yelling at my two year old from several asiles away. Because he had a ball? Aren't the toys their for kids? So why would you yell at them for touching what dollar general stocks inside its stores specifically for kids to touch? She was like 60 yelling at a two year old? Then she didn't even have the respect to stick around. Right after this happened I went to try and talk to her but she had disappeared. I've filed a complaint with the corporate office and will never be back.

I am very impressed by this store. Very clean, organized and they have a large variety of everything at very good prices. I live in Harrisburg but will make this dollar general one of my frequent shopping stores.

Everything always seems to be cluttered or laying around. Store was actually on the empty side last time I went (few weeks ago). If they have a good sale on something, it can be worth it to stop by.

The worse dollar general I have ever been to. The store manager is a complete JERK and is mean to every customer. He gives dirty looks to everyone and don't even think about asking him a question he will give you an attitude and treat you like an idiot. I will never shop there again along with many other people I have talked to!

This particular Dollar General seemed cleaner than the last one I was in and it did seem more stocked than the last one as well. They are currently doing construction on the building next door but have a fenced pathway into the store. However, I bought the last 8gb micro SD card so you'll all have to buy the 16gb cards hahahaha suckers!!!

What can I say, its Dollar General. Only gripe is they repeatedly run out of the same items, pssst, dog and cat food. Ya think the manager would just order more. Other than that, good friendly people make it enjoyable.

Dollar General does not help the struggling Americans. They do not offer rewards cards. They have coupon sales that only work for people with computers and and printers or those with cell phones that can download said coupons.I was tempted to hold up the under staffed store single line to save $2, and do the download.I decided my time, and others time would be more helpful by pointing this out. Unfortunately the only ones that will see it are in the haves category.Word of mouth works too.

The store is very small but it's always been clean & organized. The wait to check out is usually longer than it should be but most retail stores are these days.

The name says it. Just bring extra dollars. They want paid more for some stuff. Values are on the outs. Stay away from the paint. Might as well pee on it. Same difference unless you use 10 coats of that watery stuff.

A huge parking lot. Smaller store than I expected and selection was a lot smaller than some other ones I've seen. The staff was nice and moderately helpful in pointing us to the right section of the store.

Nice store. Great place if you forget something at the store. Always a have a little of everything. Prices are usually cheaper than the big box stores

The staff was very helpful and patient with us even though they were closing in 5 minutes when we walked in. They didn't rush us or make us feel rushed and helped us find what we were looking for. I will go back and shop there again.

It's an okay store...says they close at 9 but apparently they lock the doors at 8:45. Usually clean and prices are pretty good.

Place is too small for the amount of merchandise...they need a bigger store. The isles are too narrow and u can't find anything. Isles are also piled with merchandise that needs placed on shelves.

This Dollar General isn't so bad it's just set up like older stores and hard to find certain things fat like other stores customer service is amazing
