I am thankful that Dave transferred to this location. I know the company has been going through many changes and that is not easy for the employees. Dave and his team work exceptionally well together. I can tell the days my prescription is filled early Dave is working. Thank you Dave and staff

What a shame I see all of the same issues I’m having and none getting resolved …. I made a post prior of going there 4 times for my prescription! I get texts to confirm my prescription is ready and I go to pick them up later in the day hours after the confirmation text that my prescription is ready, I go and they dont even know why I’m there half the time and my prescription is never ready… so disappointing… you would think they would do better being the only rite aid in that area! The drive through takes long as well I will be waiting in the line for about 20 plus minutes every time!I will be sure to never ever recommend this rite aid for anything with prescription needs !! I will be changing pharmacies…. And I will steer everyone away from this unprofessional and problematic pharmacy!! What a shame!!!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. They didn’t have the medicine for a refill, and the pharmacist Cathy called around to multiple different rite aids to make certain we could get the medicine. Amazing.

My husband waited over an hour for a prescription for our son. When it was finally his turn he was told by a very unfriendly lady that they could not help him because the pharmacy closed at 6. He looked at his watch and it was 6:01. After he waited over an HOUR! Needless to say we are NOT happy and will not be using Rite Aid again. The previous wait times were ridiculous, but we’ve never been turned away before. This was the final straw.

I really don’t leave reviews but the girl at the pharmacy named SARA was very rude and short very unprofessional especially when she slams the money on the counter and just walks away. Think she needs a hug or better training with customer services. Everyone else in the store is very polite and helpful.

Waited in line at the pharmacy since 5 o’clock. For 30 minutes the line hadn’t moved and there were 3 cars ahead of me. Then by 6 there were 2 cars ahead of me. And they just closed it down. Tried getting a pharmacist attention because I needed my medication that night. But myself and everyone in line got ignored. Pulled into the parking lot and another person pulled up next to me and we went in. There wasn’t a single pharmacy supervisor there. And the front end manager wasn’t even going to do anything about it. He had to practically beg the one pharmacist to get our prescriptions even though we already told them they were ready and didn’t need to be paid for. Then the pharmacist came out with the manager and on our walk back to the pharmacy she made a comment of “of course it’s free.” Staff needs to be fired or retrained. Absolutely ridiculous. Changing my pharmacy and everyone else should too.

Horrible horrible pharmacy! I’ve been waiting in the drive threw with one person in front of me at the window for 20 minutes!! They never have my script filled when I get a text confirmation ! I do not recommend this pharmacy at all!! Do not go here!!

Although I appreciate the close proximity to my home, I consistently receive good customer service including help when I need it. I also love that I am easily able to get vaccines as needed.

Pharmacy is ridiculous for filling prescription, so understaffed I guess. Dropped off prescription 3.5 hrs ago just went in and was told another 1.5 hrs. Prescriptions are given for a reason that you evidently need them. Staff is great but someone has to help them.

Gave the store well over an hour to filly prescriptions. I came in and nobody was in line. Store empty, yet I was told give them a half hour to fill. That's absolutely ridiculous. Wait times are what they are but having to wait an hour and a half for my meds is a little crazy. Do better rite aid.

The store: 5 stars.The pharmacy: 0 stars!The pharmacy staff is not friendly whatsoever. There is always a problem getting my automatic refills filled. They are never filled when they are supposed to be. Don’t go through the drive-through, you’ll be lucky if you wait less than 15 minutes and that’s if you’re the only person in line. The pharmacy is way understaffed and overworked. I will drive to Hanover or York to get my prescriptions filled before I drive the 3 miles to this place.

never really had a problem with the store but the pharmacy has never once gone smooth in the year I have been coming here. The filing system they use doesn’t seem to be very efficient as I usually wait 5-10 mins just for them to find my name. One time the just couldn’t find my medicine and I had to come 3 times in one day. The drive thru wait is typically a minimum of 15 minutes and they only use one lane when they have 2, and will tend to those inside first even if they got there after those in the drive thru. I have never had a problem with the staff but sometimes they do seem very standoffish especially when you ask questions.

This pharmacy is probably the slowest in the state of Pennsylvania. Will be moving all of my family’s prescriptions elsewhere. Will drive farther for more prompt services.

The staff here is incredibly rude and I will definitely NEVER be back again. I got put into the automatic refill system without being notified. I received multiple text messages about my prescription being ready but thought that they were errors. I eventually called in to check on my prescriptions and they stated I must have been put into the automatic refill system and my prescriptions were ready. I went 2 days later to pick them up and they were put back on the shelf because I didn't pick them up soon enough. When explaining to the staff what had happened and why I was upset they pretty much blew me off only stating that I hadn't picked them up soon enough and it was all my fault with an attitude. I then sat down and waited for them to be filled and as I was waiting they started to talk about me in an extremely unprofessional manner behind the counter. I have worked in customer service and healthcare for my entire adult life and their behavior was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

The pharmacy here is so fast. I was prescribed an antibiotic for an infection and they had it filled within minutes of it being ordered even with it being 20 minutes until they closed. They were nice and friendly when I called to check if it happened to be filled and when I went in despite it being so close to closing time. Thank you ride aid new Oxford for being kind!! I am so happy I do not have to wait until the morning to start these antibiotics for my infection.

Finally get a day free to go get my medicine but of course the actual pharmacy isn't open in sundays..... seriously! A lot of people only have the weekends to run errands like these. Meanwhile, left waiting for medicines and getting constant messages that it will be returned to the shelf if you do not get there to pick it up.

Awful. They have incredibly rude staff. They just get annoyed for being a customer and bothering them. This time, the employee had such an attitude I just wanted to drive off (older woman). The last time, the employee (young female) gave me somebody else's prescription. I even confirmed my name and DOB, so how does that still happen? Those questions are in place to ensure nobody takes the wrong medication. I even said it wasn't my usual cost, it was higher and she said nothing back. It wasn't until I got home and thank god went to read the label to see how many to take. Otherwise, I would have never noticed. When I called in to inform them, they just said "oh bring it back and we'll exchange it". Excuse me?! Why are you so calm about this?! The line is also always extremely long at the drive-thru. They'll help 5 customers inside before getting to 1 outside. Their also awful at actually following up with providers when needing a refill. It has happened twice now that they say they'll call the provider to get a refill authorization. I call the doctor 2-3 days later when my script still isn't ready, and they never get any notification from the pharmacy. So, make sure you do that yourself.

I don't like that on more than one occasion I have gone to this pharmacy during their POSTED open hours of operation and they were closed. They are supposed to be open until 9pm, however they were closing at 8pm. In addition, the posted time that they were going to be on lunch is 1:30 to 2pm. I went there at 1:15, maybe 1:20pm and they were closed for lunch!

Would give a 0 but have to do at least a 1 to leave review. Dealt with this pharmacy for 14 plus years. Many times they did not have my medications and when questioned, I was told by a previous pharmacists, if it's something you get monthly, we would make sure to have it in stock, my reply was I have been for 10 years, that was the end of that conversation. A previous review i read states about 2 employees acting irritated, know exactly which ones and they always have in the 14 years I've gone there. Now for the 2nd time in 2 months, they have had my prescriptions for days but due to Insurance purposes, I have to wait till the 30 day mark, again when I call to see if done, they have to still do them, why? They have had the script for days AGAIN. Finally fed up and changing pharmacy's, gave a extremely long chance but it is always something here.

Made appt on line with this store for booster shot. No confirmation noted. Looked at spot again and no longer available do thought ok. Went to get booster stood in line 10 mins told to go to other window and stood there for another 5 mins to be told no one scheduled for 4. Asked pharmacist and said no confirmation no shot. Ridiculous! Not happy! President announced today that all should get booster and you have a pharmacist who does not give. At Walmart no appt and getting. No longer going to this rite aid and possibly all.

This is for the pharmacy. Every month my spouse calls in a prescription for meds. We are told by automation when they will be available for pick up. Every month we go to pick them up and we are told that they need to be ordered. WHY AREN'T THEY ORDERED WHEN WE CALL IN THE SCRIPT? The only thing dumber is that we keep going back month after month. No more. We will take our business to CVS or Laslow's.

Very unfriendly employees. I asked where to go for vaccines employee just pointed and said back there. Was ignored at the window to check in and was rushed in and out. My elderly parents were made to wait approximately half hour before getting their booster even though they had appointments, were told they had to process everything, well everything was completed online so nothing to process. Horrible way to treat people especially older people. I will never go there or recommend this location.

Do not go here for a Covid test. The lab they use is abysmal. I call Riteaid for assitance and they loop you through their automated system until you give up calling. Shall I walk in while I wait 7 days for a covid test result and physically ask for help? May as well.

The pharmacy is well-staffed the staff both in the pharmacy and at the front counter are very kind and courteous and knowledgeable of the items within the store the store has a very good Hallmark card selection and has adminities for all ages. The store is located east of New Oxford midway between New Oxford and Cross Keys.

Came here today to get a prescription, while waiting this kind woman approached me and we started talking about how bad my sun poisoning was she helped me find cream for it and gave me great advice. She was so sweet and I just thought she should be recognized 😊
