Fair warning about placing online orders. I Placed an order online for pick-up and received an email saying it is ready. When I get to the store the assistant manager said we have nothing for you and I need to see the paper they sent you. I explained that an email with a bar code was sent to me and she said... well we need a paper. So I called customer service and they said they are sorry but my order hasn't even been shipped yet! They did explain that all I need is my email so the assistant manager was wrong on her end. She said the emails have been sent out early before products have even been shipped. So now I still do not have my package and no one offered to do anything about it.

Our family loves to stop here. Wether it’s for the kids to spend their money or we need something for the house it’s a one stop shop for grab and go. The reason for our low rating is based on your staff.I swear it never fails. Every single time we pull up to park. One and sometimes two of the staff members are standing outside the door smoking cigarettes. We waited in line once for well over 5 minutes before you staff member noticed we were ready to check. She hurried up and snuffed her cigarette out hoping we hadn’t noticed. It’s one thing to take a smoke break but to leave the entire store completely unattended is a whole different story.

The manager here is GREAT! She treats the local high school kids as they were her own! I am impressed everytime that I am in this store! The only downside is she can be a bit short with people from time to time but to see how she treats everyone fairly and takes care of the local kids she more than makes up for it!

Brown haired middle aged woman working the register and I asked her to take off two items that had no price on it (my grandchildren thought it was the price marked on the shelf)She had an attitude and I apologized for her inconvenience and she didn’t say a word or look at us- my grandchildren were talking to her and she completely ignored them- she was very rude to us yet she was speaking so friendly to another woman at the beginning of our checkout but was so cold and rude to my grandchildren and I-being rude to adult isn’t nice but her being rude to a six and eight year old is just pure ignorance on her part- no excuse- especially to friendly children that are well behaved-shame on her!

Manager needs a lesson in customer service...should take some tips from the cashiers. I've never been yelled at by any retail employee, until today. Looking at other reviews....I see its been noted before that she can "be short" with customers. I'll take my business down the street to the Dollar Tree, thanks.

Love this family dollar. Good place to stop on the way home, conveniently located right near the new oxford square and pass it every day going to York or heading to Gettysburg. Way bigger then some of the other family dollars so it has a lot more options to choose from. I will be returning to this family dollar and recommend that you do too.

Cashier sat on her phone watching YouTube. Waited at the register for about a minute. She didn't move. Left my stuff at the register.

I came in with two of my friends and we were just looking around, and the woman came and accused us of shoplifting. She went up to us and ripped open my friends bag and asking us where we put all the things we had. I was only holding a movie, that I put down, and my friend didn’t have anything. She then called someone and told them to check the camera footage. I would not recommend coming here unless you actually have to.

You feel more like you're in an inner York family dollar, just without the danger. Kind of dirty and products aren't quite laid out right. Still it's not a bad store if you can't get what you need at Shurfine and don't want to drive to Hanover to shop there.

very disorganized. Found cleaning products in three different areas. Severe misuse of space. I passes two different employees and neither acknowledged me or asked if the could assist me.

Stores is located in the New Oxford Shopping Center along us30 just east of New Oxford. The store has grown in its grocery selection.
