How could you not love a place with such amazing deals? You will find scratch and dented items as well as expired items. Hunting through the goods is part of the fun for me. I go about once a month, but wish I could go more often. The staff have always been helpful, kind, and hardworking. Lifetime customer here :)

This place is such a trip, I can't get enough of it. I don't know how to put into words, this place is like...off the hook. Bizarre, extreme. Unpredictable. Always an adventure. A mix of expired, dented, and discontinued items. You have to be careful and watch what you buy because some of the expired items have rancid fats in them. But it's worth it because this place is a gold mine for expensive, high-quality products at rock-bottom prices. I've gotten huge containers of top-quality loose-leaf tea, very fresh, or high-end organic coffee, or even weird things like organic buckwheat flour or rye flour. Some of the stuff here is so cheap it is practically free. I'd say a good 25% of the store is stuff that normally sells for $10 selling for 50 cents, and 50% of the store is stuff that is at least 75% off retail price. The remainder 25% of the stuff is still slightly cheaper than a normal store. Like you can fill up your whole cart, get up to checkout, and have it come to $30. The produce is also EXCEPTIONALLY good. Lots of local stuff, lots of small stuff (I love it, some of the best apples when it is apple season). My favorite sections of the store: produce, energy bars, seltzer, hair accessories. Some sections are hit-or-miss, like the baking supplies are kinda bad maybe 75% of the time but when they are good, wow they are good. Ice cream, like I've sometimes even gotten pints of high-end brands for like $1, but other times it's just junk. Lately they've had good nuts, but you have to watch dates on those, same with oils. Sometimes they have local eggs cheap, or cheese, frozen meats or seafood. Yeah...seriously, check this place out. Leave more time than you would for a normal supermarket, you need to take your time in each aisle to get the most out of this place. But if you do, you can easily shave HUNDREDS off your monthly food budget. Oh, and check the Amish calendar because this place closes on some holidays you may not have heard of. This place gives out calendars around the new years; take them because it clarifies all this stuff, plus it's just a great wall calendar; another random perk of shopping here!

Reasonable prices on food & drinks like soda & juices. Fresh fruits, frozen foods, cold frig area cold cuts, cheese butter. Some items that i shopped for had slight damaged although the expiration dates were all good. I stocked up on snacks cupcakes & cookies. Large parking lot.

Wow amazing the prices are just like they were in 1970 if you are looking for a great deal this is the best place in town to shop very affordable you can actually feed a family on the prices they have here definitely five stars don't miss out on all the good deals

This BB’s location consists of 14 aisles of mostly bargains plus a couple aisles of a walkthrough refrigerator and freezer. As other reviewers mentioned, you have to watch the expiration dates on some of the products and the quality of the fresh produce.

Many of the items I've purchased have been expired, sometimes over a year. You must check expiration dates!! Especially in the cold storage section. They tend to spoil quickly.

This has been a blessing with inflation. If you see something you need to get itbecause stock constantly changes. I always try to go here before the grocery store to save money where I can. Whatever I can’t get here, I pick up at the grocery store.

You have to pay attention to dates but for my teenager and his friends it's a great place to stock up for cheap! You can't get a overflowing cart of groceries for under $200 anywhere else.

With the rising cost of food, this is a place to visit. Just be cautious. Some products are way beyond their expiration date. So know what is safe to consume.

Dented cans, discontinued items, overstocks, items past the"best used by" date, all with incredible prices. I was surprised to see how great the prices were on the produce which was first rate. If you're anywhere near one of these places, it's absolutely worth it to stop in. It may not be for you, but you owe it to yourself to check it out.

We are frequent shoppers here. Amazing prices on everything. Some things like the taco kit special (see pic) are a bit dented, but in perfectly suitable condition to use. The place is clean, organized and friendly. The only caution is to watch for the expiration date on items; I VERIFY THE EXPIRATION DATE on everything before I purchase.

If you've never been here you should go. My wife and I go here at least two times a month. That's all we really need to do. The amount of money you can save in the amount of groceries that you leave with for the price you pay. You'll never beat it at a regular grocery store.

BBs is always awesome. Packed with unbeatable deals. Craziest selection. It's a discount store so watch the dates. The staff is amish so they're super nice and incredibly helpful. You'll never find the same stuff twice except for amazing local meats and cheeses. It's not a regular grocery store, go here before you go to the regular places. Save that $$$.

BB's is a great place for reducing your grocery budget. Particularly if you pack a lunch for yourself, your spouse, or your children. BB's has tons of individual size products at really good prices.Yes, some things are near, at, or even past their expiration date. But as the many news programs have told us, the expiration dates do not make the food unsafe and seldom make it taste different.I like that the selection changes every time I'm in there, but also that I know which staples are likely to be there time after time.

This location is awesome, great selection of good stuff at dirt cheap prices, and not overpicked. A LOT of Amazon and other stuff to pick from. People there are really cool too as well. Schaeferstown is cool, but not at big, Morgantown is way too busy and picked over with some crazies, Quarryville is nice, more busy yet very nice too. Oxford has the best available selection.

Amazing place and great deals. The employees were so welcoming and the atmosphere was extremely peaceful. Which I personally attribute to God. This is my favorite store of all time and had the honor of being the first purchase on opening day. Unparalleled deals and full of amazing finds. Can’t wait to be back in town to stock up. Can’t find another store like this! So many salvage grocery stores prices are horrible. The feeling I get when walking into a BB’s is unlike anything else I’ve experienced. PS: Look into which expiration dates actually matter and which are just for show!

Since it was sold the prices have gone up and service has gone down. I don't go out of my way to stop in anymore.
