Great place. They worked with me to get a great deal on a chainsaw. They even called me up when we took the wrong battery for the deal. We swapped batteries in two days. Great service!!

Great place to get tools for home use and light industry but haven't found items that I have purchased to have long term durability or handle heavy duty use.... You get what You pay for... And their performance very often exceeds their cost....

Went there to purchase a new American Flag. The staff directed me to where it was but I couldn't find it. One of the staff took me back to where they were suppose to be. But they were all sold off the rack. But they did find one for me back at the register. Very helpful and accommodating. 👍👍

Most of the time I get my project tools here.Some of the larger power tools have a short lifespan- 90 day warranty and the motors cannot be found for replacement. The table saw lasted 110 days to be exact I have the receipt. This is mostly a project tool store. The Cement Mixer lasted but overheated frequently. Hand tools are good.

As my wife and I were traveling down from Vermont to Florida for the season we had our cargo damaged with no tools to fix our problem when we pulled into harbor freight store. I most say its rare when I find myself with a support customer service staff of this caliber. In particular your general manager John. Thanks again for all your help.-

Great store with really nice employees! We had a great experience with getting a very large gantry crane. They young men loaded it on our truck. The young woman at the register was extremely kind and patient! We had a 25% off coupon, which made the purchase that much better! It was our first time at the Pottsville store, and we will be sure to go back!

I must say I have learned that some of the best tools don't need to be snap on or Mac, Hercules has been a pretty good brand to me at a fraction of the price. If your not using the tool everyday in a harsh way. Then harbor freight is the place to go. I'm a contractor and master mechanic, and have found some good stuff here to use frequently without worrying about breakage or terrible quality.

A display advertising gas can for under $20 each. I was not the first one to attempt to take advantage. Turns out, they were not that price. The manager did not want to honor the price as displayed.

I love going to all harbor freights but my local harbor freight this one is great. Polite workers and can answer any issues you have on a product you bought and are returning. Cant thank one specific store worker enought thats "Kendra" shes definitely deserves a raise or promotion.

I went to buy a gas can today on the 4th of July and was expecting the sale percentage off but when I went to check out I was told it didn't count for that item because apparently that was already discounted. Okay but still, there was NOTHING stating that so it really should have still been counted.... I really don't appreciate the bait and switch. 😒

Nice well stocked hardware store. Beyond the normal tools found at any hardware store, they also carry a good deal of specialty tools such as watch and jewelry tools, electronics soldering tools, etc.

I have been really impressed with the products I've bought here. I bought a leaf blower/vacuum mulcher and it's awesome. For $39.99 I was very skeptical, but I am very pleased with it. Also bought a power washer and it is really great too. Like the freebies they offer too (tarps, flashlights, wipes). Pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is it takes forever to check out, especially on weekends.

If you need any tools for your car/home, this is the place to go. Most of everything they sell is high quality at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Recently went there to buy an electric impact wrench, and it saved my brother and I so much time. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Great discount tool store. Good for tools that you need occasionally, but not for every day tools, as they are definitely not high quality. My husband and I lay tile and wear gloves to keep our hands from getting messed up. We buy loads of their nitrile gloves. They’re better than gloves at the big box stores and they fit great.

Love shopping here...(for the most part). I could definitely do without all the "secret shoppers" that follow me around the store trying to catch me stealing something. I spend at least $200 there every week. This is getting ridiculous.

Great store to frequent for competitive prices and from my experiences, quality made products! There are still hit and miss situations, however haven't purchased many things that I regretted buying due to lack of quality. Main one that sticks out which I regret & won't buy again is Harbor Freight batteries. They're good for UBER low power consuming devices, anything more than that and you can plan on replacing that battery in no time at all. Otherwise good job Harbor Freight!

Begrudgingly, the place I go for cheap tools anymore since Grizzly tools saw fit to vacate the state of Pennsylvania. Surprisingly good selection of specialty tools, but it seems that this is their niche, the odd tool that you don't use enough to worry about buying a brand name one. And in that I suppose they perform wonderfully

It is HF. You all know what is here. But, did you know that they sell name brand quality tools? Black and yellow cordless tools are red and black here. Batteries are not interchangeable, but it is the same tool. + And - are reversed and it has a different digital signal. Just remember you get what you pay for. $20 drill is a $20 drill. Spend $69 and you have a professional grade drill. Love it or hate it, they are here to stay. We need brick and mortar stores for things we need today. You buy everything on line and soon that will be all there is.

An extremely aggressive cashier that did not want to take NO for an answer on any given item. He basically forced it on the 2 women in front of me. They did agree to take the warranty on a battery operated drill,however, that was about the only way they were going to be able to leave with thr drill they wanted.I had a lot of items that totaled nearly $200. The most expensive item being the mid-grade air powered grinder that was $50. I knew it was coming and so it began. The arguement as I saw it or sales pitch as he saw it ended by me declining the $10 extended warranty. Its only $10 to replace the tool. Ok its 20% the cost of the tool that has maybe 3 but definitely 2 moving parts inside which are two metal drive gears that will never break. Worst case scenario they get rusty from customer neglect which Im sure the warranty would not cover. In this case 3 eyedroppers of marvel mystery oil will prevent any rust. At this point the only tool on the counter was the sales associate. It was extremely busy with long lines and this sales tactic was clearly annoying other customers waiting in line as I saw heads shaking because they were as eager as myself to make it through the double doors. Taking any type of warranty today made as much sense as purchasing a warranty on a box of screws because some of them may have a bend to them.......... sarcasm.

No longer a fan of harbor freight. Too much nonsense with their promos. Also I've noticed that Walmarts hyper tough tools are cheaper and in my experience a little better than harbor freight. Had been a regular customer since before they even had any stores harbor freight that is.

Never really had a problem with anything I got here. HF isn't known for the longest lasting told but I definitely think they've improved and the tools are priced right.
